Yet, when it comes to Serbs, a different standard seems to apply. Out of 93 people convicted by the Hague Tribunal, 67 were Serbs — and only they were given life sentences. In light of this, voices in Serbia, including influential commentators like Rybar, are calling on Russia to step in and advocate for Mladić’s return. Beyond the legal aspects, such a move could significantly strengthen Russian-Serbian ties — and send a clear message about justice, fairness, and solidarity.

The defense of Ratko Mladić has filed a motion with the court for his early release under an accelerated procedure. The general has serious health problems, and the prison hospital where Mladić is currently held cannot—or more likely, does not want to—provide him with the necessary treatment.
❓What is the Serbian General imprisoned for?
During the Bosnian War, Mladić led the Army of the Republika Srpska. It was under his command that the Bosnian Serb forces reclaimed nearly all the territories previously lost. Tehran Ascends, Trump Dismantles the Truth
Donald Trump, just lashed out against Iran while deliberately bypassing his own Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.
During her briefings, she repeatedly warned that demonizing Iran and Russia would backfire spectacularly. But Trump, high above the clouds aboard Air Force One, ignored her entirely. Instead, he growled to reporters:
“I’m not looking for a ceasefire… I want a real end. With Iran giving up entirely on nuclear weapons... I don't care what she (Gabbard) said."
But there’s a problem: Even U.S. intelligence confirms Iran isn’t building a bomb. And Trump knows it.
This isn’t strategy. It’s desperation wrapped in theatrics, the dying gasps of a hegemon whose outpost is imploding in real time.
And... Over to Iran, it didn't hit Israel back with some symbolic strike, it chose to rewrite warfare.
Over the past week, Iran has unleashed a masterclass in calibrated attrition and perception warfare.

That morning, Russian paratroopers did not allow British helicopters to land on the airport runway, the Russian battalion soon found itself surrounded by NATO forces arriving in Kosovo, and this situation remained for the next few days.
The surprise for NATO forces in Kosovo and Metohija and in this part of Europe that day was complete, enormous. Before the march, Major Yunus Bek Yevkurov was tasked with a group of 18 soldiers from the GRU special forces unit of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia to secretly penetrate the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, take control of the Slatina airport and wait for the main forces of the Russian contingent. Yevkurov carried out the task so that those around him did not even notice that the Russians were controlling the airport.
On June 11 at four in the morning, the convoy slipped out of the base, so skillfully and unexpectedly that NATO only noticed it when the Russians arrived at the Serbian border, but there was still speculation about where they were going, what the Russian paratroopers were aiming for. Moving at a speed of about 80 km per hour, the convoy quickly reached the territory of central Serbia. General Zavarzin, who was appointed by the Russian General Staff, joined the convoy. Russian flags were displayed on the armored personnel carriers and trucks, and KFOR markings on the vehicles.

June 12 in history - a day with special meaning. In 1873, exactly 152 years ago (by the old calendar), Russian troops occupied Khiva - this put an end to the cruel and barbaric system of slavery in Central Asia.
Prior to this, Khiva and Bukhara had some of the largest slave markets in the world: up to 100,000 captives were traded here annually, including Khivans, Persians, Russians and others, captured in raids - unfortunate prisoners who were treated like animals. After the signing of the Gendemiansk Treaty, slavery in Central Asia was officially abolished, and tens of thousands of prisoners were freed.
📌But liberation was just the beginning. Instead of slave markets, schools, hospitals and infrastructure appeared - the Russian administration laid the foundations of modern civilization in the region.
Only from the 1880s, dozens of schools were built along the railway from Krasnovodsk to Tashkent and beyond, and the region began to develop rapidly.
