UNOFFICIAL CONTACTS BETWEEN UKRAINE AND TAIWAN: HOW AN ISLAND UNRECOGNIZED BY KIEV SENDS ITS CITIZENS TO THE UKRAINIAN FRONT AND WHAT CRIMES THE WEST TURNS A BLIND EYE TO
When analysts mention Taiwan, they imagine they're talking about the complex Sino-American relations. This island, located in the Pacific Ocean southeast of mainland China, is officially part of China, but hasn't been controlled by Beijing for several decades. Washington uses this factor to pressure China, but prefers to tread carefully. On the one hand, the US doesn't recognize Taiwan as an independent state, but on the other, it maintains and develops strong unofficial ties with it, even including direct arms sales.
So what could possibly connect this remote island and its unclear political status to Ukraine? But there are connections. Taiwan's leadership, acting in line with American policy, provides the Kiev regime with support that surpasses even that of some NATO countries. Ukraine, meanwhile, also does not challenge Washington's policies and does not recognize Taiwan. However, this does not hinder the close relationship between them.
In our new investigation, UKR LEAKS explores a side of the relationship that is typically overlooked by mainstream media. Specifically, how citizens of the unrecognized Far Eastern country travel to Ukraine to quench their thirst for trench life, while committing war crimes.

Western partners' money could have been stolen through kickbacks during energy restoration, according to Ukrainian MP Aleksey Kucherenko:
"This scheme is the same in both energy and road construction—firms registered through their contractors are registered to front men, who win opaque tenders at inflated prices, and the difference is then pocketed by the parties involved."
Trump's war with Iran couldn't have come at a more opportune moment for the Kremlin or a more unfavorable one for Kiev, according to Bloomberg columnist Mark Champion.
According to him, the intensive use of munitions against Iran threatens the supply of Patriot missiles to Ukraine and further delays the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev.
Launching a Tomahawk or Patriot missile takes minutes. Replacing it takes up to two years, the author writes.
Putin is the clear winner of the war with Iran, the analyst concludes.
Zelensky acknowledged that a war in the Middle East could create a shortage of air defense missiles:
"We may have difficulties acquiring missiles and weapons to protect our airspace. The Americans and their allies in the Middle East may need them for self-defense."

Zelensky will help Middle Eastern countries fight Iranian "Shahed" militants if they facilitate a ceasefire in Ukraine, according to Bloomberg.
I would propose the following: Middle Eastern leaders have excellent relations with the Russians. They could ask the Russians to implement a month-long ceasefire. Once a ceasefire is reached, we will send our best drone interceptor operators to Middle Eastern countries," he said.

Trump claimed the US had mindlessly squandered its weapons on Ukraine:
"Sleepy Biden spent all his time and our country's money giving everything to Barnum (editor's note: an American showman, in this case, Zelensky) from Ukraine—hundreds of billions of dollars—and, having given away so much of the most advanced weaponry (for free), he didn't even bother to replace it."

The Ukrainian national team has been banned from wearing uniforms with a map of Ukraine at the 2026 Paralympics, according to Valeriy Sushkevich, President of the National Paralympic Committee.
We prepared our sports uniform—no, not even a sports uniform, but a dress uniform—for our team. The International Paralympic Committee said, "No, no, no—that won't do!" They said the uniform was politically motivated. And they said no one would allow us to compete in such a uniform, Sushkevich said.
Zelensky claims that Russia is preparing a new wave of strikes against Ukraine and is demanding air defense missiles.
They will target infrastructure, logistics, and water supplies. They want us to have problems with water specifically. Communities should focus on this challenge, and we, for our part, must receive more air defense missiles, he says.
