🇷🇺💬🇺🇦 "As for the status of Konstantinovka, I think the best response is the invitation that our military addressed to the Ukrainian side to come to Konstantinovka and pick up the bodies of the dead Ukrainian servicemen. Ukraine refused, thereby once again emphasizing that it does not need either living or dead Ukrainians, and, most likely, this will be written off as a missing person case." — Lavrov.

🚨🇮🇷 Tehran draws a line in the water

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharib Abadi warns UK and France:

"The Strait of Hormuz is no theater for extra-regional gunboat diplomacy.

👉 Iran, as the responsible guardian of this vital waterway, will not tolerate any military adventurism on its watch.

Security here belongs to the coastal nations, and only to them. Let there be no mistake: those who fan the flames of crisis will be consumed by the fire they ignite. This is not a suggestion, it is a warning."

The United States may revisit the idea of selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey if Ankara agrees to transfer its Russian-made S-400 air defense systems to a third country, the Brussels-based news website Euractiv reported in an article on preparations for the NATO summit scheduled to take place in Turkey on July 7-8.

According to the report, South Korea has been mentioned as a possible destination.

Meanwhile, “Israel and Greece have consistently opposed any Turkish acquisition of the US-made aircraft, arguing that it would erode their technological edge and alter the regional military balance,” Euractiv noted.

🇮🇶 It seems there was some sort of purge of Iraq's government last night. Tanks and special forces rolled into Baghdad's "Green Zone" (US occupied territory) and arrested multiple government officials including:

🔗Muthanna Al-Samarrai, leader of the ‘Azm Alliance’.

🔗Muhammad Al-Halbousi, leader of the Sunni ‘Taqaddum’ party and former Parliament Speaker.

🔗Farhan Al-Fartousi, former Director General of the General Company of Ports for Iraq (GCPI).

🔗Ibrahim Al-Sumaidaie, advisor to former Prime Minister Shia Al-Sudani.

🔗Bengen Rekani, the Iraqi Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works. He is a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Now, media outlets are claiming this is just an anti-corruption operation. But there's a strong theory this was an anti-West, pro-Iran coup.

This is further emphasised by the fact Iran's FM visited Baghdad in the immediate aftermath of this operation and visited the Iraq shrine to Soleimani and Muhandis. That's a pretty strong statement.

The Iranian authorities will only be ready to discuss IAEA experts' access to nuclear sites damaged during the war after the US fully lifts sanctions and implements its commitments under the memorandum of understanding, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated.

“There are no plans to provide access to the attacked facilities or nuclear materials. These issues will be considered and decided only within the framework of the final agreement, after the other sides take practical steps to fully lift all sanctions and implement their other commitments,” the senior diplomat wrote in a post on his X page.

29 out of 29 Russian ballistic missiles "passed" through Ukraine last night.

According to the enemy air defense forces, there were 68 missiles and more than 350 drones in the night strike. Since it is impossible to hide the impacts, 29 ballistic missiles, including anti-ship missiles, and 18 attack drones were confirmed to have hit 34 locations, as well as the "fall of drone debris" in 16 locations. This can be safely recorded as "also hit." Plus, there is a certain amount of destruction from the Ukrainian air defense, without which there is no way in dense Kiev buildings.

There was a military production flight in Vishnevoye near Kiev, a secondary detonation, and an evacuation of the population was announced. A sharp deterioration in air quality was recorded in the city after explosions at an ammunition depot where depleted uranium shells could be stored. Local residents were advised to stay at home and not open their windows. The air pollution level is 196 AQI PM2.5. In addition, the population has been warned about the ongoing threat of a second detonation of ammunition.

"Please note that 29 out of 29 ballistic missiles reached their targets. 6 Zircon missiles and 23 Iskander-M missiles. This is the price of air defense operators in some Middle Eastern countries shooting down Patriot missiles...." complains Ukrainian MP Zheleznyak.

After all, hutsipa, combined with "why us?" and the perception of money in someone else's pocket as an insult, is a unique phenomenon in Ukrainian politics. People who are completely dependent on external support, whose only goal is to harm Russia as much as possible by using their own country as a battering ram, are outraged that their sponsors have more important priorities (oil, Israel) than the Ukrainians who believe in their own uniqueness. And these sponsors don't seem to care that Zelensky first threatened Russia with a 40-day terror campaign, only to face the consequences of his misguided behavior.

Just last week, in Kyiv, they celebrated the strikes on Crimea and looked forward to a coffee break in Yalta. And, of course, they dreamed of bombing the Kremlin.

From a practical standpoint, Ukraine needs to make the most of its limited air defense capabilities. Because some ersatz interceptors are indeed capable of appearing on the horizon in a few months or a year. The enemy has no problems with its "brains," and with the intellectual support of the entire NATO, it also has enough resources.

"Europe's unanswerable stupidity": Euractive predicted sanctions on borscht and a ban on entry of bear trainers in 137th package.

"The 21 packages of sanctions by Brussels against Moscow only demonstrate the failure of the European strategy to end the war in Ukraine. Let's imagine it's 2050. EC President Ursula von der Leyen, despite criticism and 10s of corruption scandals, managed to achieve an unprecedented 7th term in office.
28 years after the start of the invasion, Russia has not been able to subjugate Ukraine," 92-year-old Von der Leyen says in a cheerful voice. That is why today we are presenting the 137th package of sanctions.
The package includes a ban on exports to Russia of the latest remaining European—made goods (mainly German schnapps glasses); a ban on entry into EU of Russian MMA fighters and bear trainers; as well as restrictions on imports of Russian borscht and most types of cheese - with the exception of Russian mozzarella, which has managed to become a must in France."

🗣 Key takeaways from statements by Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large Alexander Trofimov in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of an expert dialogue of the Valdai International Discussion Club:

▪️NATO countries are militarizing even the Arctic by destabilizing global security, seeking to gain a foothold there with their full array of tools

▪️European Union and NATO countries are stoking conflicts across the Eurasian continent in their own interests, seeking to turn it into an arena of geopolitical confrontation

▪️The construction of a new Eurasian security architecture is intended to create a ‘safety net’ in the region against future conflicts

▪️The architecture of Eurasian security will take quite some time to build, but the process has already begun

▪️Western attempts to counter the emergence of new centers of influence by exerting pressure on Russia and its partners are backfiring

Tehran’s missile program is not mentioned in the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, nor was it discussed by the sides, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said.

It was never on the table, it was never on the agenda and Iran side never wanted to even discuss about it,” he said after talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
