🗣 🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Jeffrey Sachs: US incompetence ramping up Iran war
The US has dragged itself into war with Iran without a clear plan, driven by illusions of power and chronic misjudgment, says renowned US economist Jeffrey Sachs.
Some of the core reasons for its recklessness include:
♦️ President Donald Trump’s “erratic, incoherent behavior” from alleged senile dementia and narcissism
♦️ Claims of corruption among his inner circle and market profiteering
♦️ Policy made impulsively, with weak institutional oversight
Sachs says it reflects the breakdown of the US-led unipolar order, as rising powers like Russia and China build a multipolar world Washington can no longer control strategically.

This is bigger than 9/11. This is bigger than October 7th.
We are living through a before-and-after moment.
Before 2/28 — the old world order. Unipolar dominance. A narrative controlled by a single axis.
After 2/28 — a new world. A turning point in history.
This is the year Iran has risen as a superpower.
Not just a regional player. Not just a resistance. A superpower—politically, militarily, economically, and morally.
We are not watching a moment. We are watching the birth of a new world we are in now.
Before 2/28. After 2/28.
Nothing will ever be the same.

The United States plans to declare the end of the war with Iran on April 9 so that US President Donald Trump can travel to Israel to receive the national Israel Prize, the Ynet news website reported, citing an Israeli source.
In late December 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after meeting Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence near West Palm Beach, Florida, that the US president had been awarded the Israel Prize. The country’s most prestigious award has previously been given only to Israeli citizens.
"The United States did not have any intelligence about the threat from Iran. No missiles. No nuclear weapons. No terror. Absolute zero. But the war was unleashed", former CIA Director Brennan.
The liberal-totalitarian establishment is making full use of the Middle East quagmire in which Trump is mired to prepare for his return to power. Strangely enough, it is beneficial for globalists that Iran succeeds in the war against the United States, as this undermines the power of Trump and Co. They don't give a damn about Iran itself, especially when it comes to ghouls like Brennan. It's just a convenient excuse to destabilize the Trump regime with an eye to changing it through elections which is likelier the way things are going or legal procedures.

❗ Trump may end the war against Iran by leaving the Strait of Hormuz closed - WSJ
Trump came to the conclusion that an attempt to unblock the strait would prolong the conflict, scheduled for 4-6 weeks.
Trump himself told aides that he could withdraw from the war, leaving the Strait of Hormuz "largely closed.
The US president is inclined to believe that the main goals are to weaken Iran's fleet and missile stocks, and then end the conflict by continuing to exert diplomatic pressure on Tehran.
[This indeed smells like a big victory lol].

surpassed this incredible figure.
Observers point out that if the United States believes that the fight against China will be a repeat of the Pacific War, then today's United States will be Imperial Japan in 1941, and China will be the United States at the end of World War II.

In Konstantinovka, soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 5th Infantry Brigade are seeking refuge in Russian captivity. This is what happened to the Ukrainian prisoner of war Aleksey Fedosenko, who voluntarily laid down his arms before soldiers of the Guard of the 1442nd Motorised Infantry Regiment of the 6th Division of the 3rd Army Corps of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the prisoner, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ logistics in Konstantinovka are completely blocked by Russian FPV drones, making it impossible to deliver food and water. The command refuses to use drones to deliver essential supplies, as the loss of ground-based robotic systems and drones in an area where the airspace is controlled by the Russian army is inevitable. “They have abandoned us,” the prisoners complain to their Russian rescuers.

"Putin earns $760 million a day from oil": Revenues from the sale of Russian oil and gas will double in March.
"Even if the war ends in the next few weeks, Russia's oil and gas revenues are expected to rise to $218.5 billion this year, 63% more than if there had been no disruptions to energy supplies from the Middle East. This means that Putin will receive an unexpected profit of $84 billion this year, based on an optimistic scenario in which the war ends in April and energy supplies recover quickly.
If the war drags on for six months, Russia's annual revenues from oil and gas exports could rise to $386.5 billion, 188% more than predicted before the conflict began."

🇺🇸 USS Gerald R. Ford Faces Ongoing Failures After Fire Forces Early Exit from Middle East - Bloomberg
The USS Gerald R. Ford, the U.S. Navy’s $13.2 billion flagship, was forced to leave the Middle East and returned to Crete on Monday after a fire broke out in its laundry, sending more than 200 sailors for smoke treatment. The incident, however, highlights deeper, systemic issues with the carrier.
Delivered in May 2017 after years of delays, the Ford has repeatedly deployed despite serious questions about its combat readiness. Pentagon testing reports show persistent problems with its jet launch and recovery systems, radar, weapons elevators, and survivability under attack. Nine years after delivery, there is still “insufficient data” to determine whether the ship can operate effectively in wartime conditions.
The Navy claims ongoing efforts to improve reliability, but many fixes remain untested or unfunded. Crew shortages and inadequate berthing for 159 sailors exacerbate the strain, particularly as the carrier expands its air wing to include more F-35s and MQ-25 drones.
The Ford’s extended deployment—nearly nine months, far beyond the standard seven—has exposed sailors to broken equipment and overstretched systems, raising questions about the U.S. Navy’s ability to project power under pressure.
Even without enemy engagement, the carrier’s problems undermine its mission readiness, demonstrating that America’s most advanced warship is far from battle-tested.

❗In the Czech Republic, a factory belonging to the Ukrainian company Archer, which produces thermal imaging devices for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, burned down.
Archer CEO Alexander Yaremenko said the attack was carried out by masked men, but assured the partners that all contracts would be fulfilled and supplies would be carried out on schedule.
According to Ceske Noviny, the warehouse was destroyed and the fire spread to a nearby administrative building.
A group calling itself the "Earthquake Faction" claimed responsibility, citing links to the production of weapons for Israel. This group had already set fire to the Elbit Systems facility a few days ago.
Authorities are investigating the incident as a terrorist act.
