Once, three cows lived in a green and fresh pasture near a forest: a white cow, a black cow and a reddish-brown cow. The cows were kind to each other. They used to graze in the meadow together and sleep near each other.
One day, a reddish-brown lion happened to take a stroll out of the forest onto the meadow. It was hungry and looking for a prey. On catching sight of the cows it became glad, but couldn't attack them, because they were together. So, the lion sat behind a boulder and patiently waited till the cows would separate from each other.

There were big trees and small trees, thick trees and thin trees and tall trees and short trees.
There was this one tree which was a crooked one. The trunk was bent in all directions. It was a bit funny to look at.
The crooked tree turned around and had a look at all other trees. There were all very up-right. They were standing straight. “See how ugly I am. I am good for nothing. All these fellow trees are straight and beautiful. I am not even one bit amicable." It lamented.

A lesson From a Frog Tale
Part 1
A group of frogs were hopping contentedly through the woods, going about their froggy business, when two of them fell into a deep pit.
All of the other frogs gathered around the pit to see what could be done to help their companions. When they saw how deep the pit was, the rest of the dismayed group agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate, because they were as good as dead.
Unwilling to accept this terrible fate, the two frogs began to jump with all of their might.
Some of the frogs shouted into the pit that it was hopeless, and that the two frogs wouldn’t be in that situation if they had been more careful, more obedient to the froggy rules, and more responsible.

After conquering many kingdoms, when Alexander was returning home, on way back to his country he fell ill and his disease took him to his death bed. While on death bed he longed to be able to meet his mother before he die.
But he knew that his illness will not give him enough time to reach his distant homeland. At this point Alexander realized something so lying on bed helplessly waiting for his death he called his generals.
When generals came to him he said to them, “I have three wishes. Please carry them out without any fail after I die..”
Alexander continued, “My first desire is that.. My coffin must be carried by my physicians alone..
Secondly, the path leading to the graveyard must be paved with all the jewels and precious stones which I have collected in my treasury.

Once in Gazipur a Sage used to live by side of river Ganga in his small hut. Many people used to visit him and greet him with offerings they bought with them.
One day a thief saw Sage’s hut and watched him for some time. He saw that there were many silver utensils and all were kept in a small space in corner of his hut.
One night thief broke into his hut and started stealing silver utensils and collecting them in his bag. Sage was just outside his hut doing meditation. As thief was stealing utensils it made some noise which was heard by Sage.
Sage came inside and saw thief. Seeing Sage, thief got scared and started to run leaving behind the bag of utensils. Immediately Sage took that bag and started running behind that thief. Soon he took over thief and stopped him. Thief was scared.

Next evening, the lion came again with a piece of meat, dropped it in front of the fox and went away. Rama took this as a message that God was sending him. He had his own interpretation….Even a crippled fox in this forest is being fed by a lion and you fool, just sit here and food will come to you.
One day. two days, three days, meditation became more like a struggle for Rama. By the seventh day, he was struggling between life and death. Just then a yogi was passing by. He heard Rama's desperate cries and started following the sound.
'What happened to you? why are you in this condition?' asked the Yogi.
"Oh yogi, please help me. A divine message came to me. I went by the message and I became like this."
"What happened?" the Yogi asked.
'Look a crippled fox is being fed by a furious lion every day. Isn't this a divine message?'
The yogi looked at him and said. "Definitely….this is a divine message, but why is it that you chose to be like the crippled fox and not like the generous lion?"
👓Thinking good thoughts is not enough. Doing good is not enough. Seeing others follow your good example is good enough.👓

Never Lose Hope

Man left. He didn’t know what to do as he had only 200rs left in his pocket and no job. He had no hope of getting any other job anytime soon. He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t want to go home without job. He thought for a while…
Then he decided to go to super market and buy 10kg veggies with that money and then went door to door to sell those veggies. Till evening he was able to sell off all those veggies and even doubles up his money.
This made him realize that he can survive by this and started to go to super market every day early in the morning and buy fresh veggies and then whole day he would sell them going door to door and by evening he would sold all the veggies he bought in morning.
He worked very hard everyday and with his determination and persistence, just in 5 years he became a well established businessman. Now he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles and became one of the biggest food chain retailers in US market.
One day he decided to have life insurance for his family and himself. He called an insurance consultant. After all discussions, consultant asked him about his e-mail address.
Man replied, “I don’t have an e-mail address.”
Consultant was surprised and said, “You don’t an e-main address and yet you succeeded to build an empire.. Can you imagine what you could have done and what you could be if you had an e- mail address..”
Man thought for a moment and replied, “An office boy..!!”
Moral:
👓If we seek for something and don’t get it, we should not lose hope.. We don’t know what destiny had in store for us.. Never lose Hope and Keep Trying.👓

The young man started laughing, and said, "My dear old man, are you mad? See, my heart! How beautiful and flawless it is. You cannot find even a bit of imperfection in my heart. See, yours? It is full of scars, wounds, and blemishes. How can you say your heart is beautiful?"
"Dear boy, my heart is just as beautiful as your heart is. Did you see the scars? Each scar represents the love I shared with a person. I share a piece of my heart with others when I share love, and in return I get a piece of heart, which I fix at the place from where I have torn a piece!" said the old man.
The young man was shocked.
The old man continued, "Since the pieces of heart I shared were neither equal nor in the same shape or size, my heart is full of uneven edges and bits and pieces. My heart is not in shape because sometimes I do not get love in return from those to whom I gave it. Your heart that looks fresh and full with no scars indicates that you never shared love with anybody. Isn't that true?"
The young man stood still and did not speak a word. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He walked to the old man, tore a piece of his heart and gave the piece to the old man.

Abc learns a lesson
Part 2
While his life was going on with no dramatic change, his father continued to work in his welding shop, so that he did not have to depend on abc. After getting a permanent job, abc's parents wanted him to marry. He got married to a girl from his native town, and at the same time was also promoted in his job. After a few years, his wife gave birth to beautiful twin boys.
Later, abc began to earn a handsome salary, and started to live luxuriously. He bought a new house and a new car. Some of the luxuries were really unnecessary. Although his company provided him with a car, abc purchased a new car!
After an extravagant life that spanned almost 6 to 7 years, abc was neither able to manage all the household expenses, nor pay for the children's education and other basic necessities.
It so happened that abc's father fell sick, and as a result, could not continue his work in the welding shop. He requested abc to give some money for his treatment and other household expenses.
abc, who was already suffering from financial crisis, shouted at his parents and told them that he had no money to provide. He complained to his parents, "You never sent me to a big school. I was not provided with expensive clothes. You rarely fed me with my favorite food. I was not able to taste different varieties of food. When I got low marks you didn't have enough money to provide me with private tuition, and it took me more than 10 years to get settled. Now, while I am again struggling for money, you are not doing anything to help me, but instead are a burden to me! So, please don't come to me again."
His parents were left shattered.
After a week, while abc was on an official tour, he met a small boy aged about 10 years selling toys. The boy requested abc to buy something. abc asked the boy why he was selling toys instead of studying. The boy replied, "My father met with an accident a year ago and he lost one hand. He cannot work now. My mother works as a maid in a few houses. I'm helping my parents by selling these toys. I go to school in the morning, and sell toys in the evenings. I work for 3 hours a day and study at night!"
abc purchased a few toys from the little boy. He thought about what the boy had said. He realized that he had been wrong in the way he treated his parents. He had learnt a lesson from the small boy. At a very small age, this boy was helping his parents, but abc, in order to meet the demands of his lavish lifestyle, had neglected his parents.
So, what can we learn from abc and this poor, small boy?
👓Respect is the foundation of love, and it is our duty to take care of our parents, when we get older and mature.👓

A dealer tag was attached to the key that read "Paid in full. Wherever this car takes you, write about it to remember it forever. Love, Dad"

My friend asked, "Will you not take tea from this shop or what?"
The driver replied, "No Sir, I don't feel like having tea now."
I asked again, "But, why? A cup of tea will do no harm."
Smiling, the driver replied, "Thank you sir, but I'm sorry."
My friend asked, "Are you against eating or drinking outside?"
The driver said, "No!"
I was really surprised at his behavior and asked my friend not to compel him.
In 15 minutes, we reached our house. We paid the fare and the driver thanked us.
On an impulse, I stopped him, as I really wanted to ask him why he refused to drink tea with us at the restaurant.
He thought for a moment and replied, "Sir, my son passed away this noon in an accident. I don't have enough money for his funeral. So I took a vow not to drink even water, until I earn enough money for my son's funeral. That's why I didn't drink tea when you offered. Please don't misunderstand."
We both were shattered and offered him more money for his son's funeral.
He politely refused, "Thank you for your generosity sir. In one or two hours, if I get one or two more customers, I will earn the money I need." And he left the place.
We were amazed at his strength of character and integrity.

There came a hyeavy thunder storm. It started raining heavily. Strong winds started blowing. The wind gushed through the forest and water flushed away everything that lay on the ground. The soil all over was eroded.
Trees fell one by one. First the thin ones fell, then small ones. Not only that, while the huge ones fell they cut-off the nearby trees also. Soo there were trees lying all over the place. All this time crooked tree shut its eyes and braced firmly biting its roots firm in the ground.
Slowly the storm subdued and there was silence.
The crooked tree opened its eyes and alas, the whole place was a graveyard.
All the beautiful trees were dead now. This crooked tree was one among the few survivors.
Now this crooked tree understood the meaning of real strength.

The other frogs continued sorrowfully shouting that they should save their energy and give up, since they were already as good as dead.
The two frogs continued jumping as hard as they could, and after several hours of desperate effort were quite weary.
Finally, one of the frogs took heed to the calls of his fellows. Spent and disheartened, he quietly resolved himself to his fate, lay down at the bottom of the pit, and died as the others looked on in helpless grief.
The other frog continued to jump with every ounce of energy he had, although his body was wracked with pain and he was completely exhausted.
His companions began a new, yelling for him to accept his fate, stop the pain and just die.
The weary frog jumped harder and harder and - wonder of wonders!
Finally leapt so high that he sprang from the pit. Amazed, the other frogs celebrated his miraculous freedom and then gathering around him asked, “Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?”
Reading their lips, the astonished frog explained to them that he was deaf, and that when he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him on. What he had perceived as encouragement inspired him to try harder and to succeed against all odds.
👓This simple story contains a powerful lesson. Your encouraging words can lift someone up and help him or her make it through the day. Your destructive words can cause deep wounds; they may be the weapons that destroy someone’s desire to continue trying - or even their life. King felt exhausted after saying this. Generals who gathered around their King were not able to understand strange wishes of their king but no one dared to question.
So, one of the general’s who was close to King went to him, kissed his hand and said, “We assure you that your wishes will be fulfilled but please tell us why did you make such strange wishes??”
Alexander took a deep breath and said, “I would like world to know three lessons I just learned..
With my first wish I want people to know that no doctor can really cure any body from death. They are powerless and cannot save a person from clutches of death.
My second wish is to tell people that all my life I chased wealth and spent my life earning riches but I can not take anything with me. I want to let people know that it’s chasing wealth is waste of time.
And with my last wish I want to know people that I came empty handed into this world and will go out of this world empty handed..”
Alexander last words were, “When you bury my body.. don’t build any monument and keep my hands outside so that world knows that a person who won the whole world had nothing in his hands while dying..”

Years later Sam was going on pilgrimage and saw a man lying helplessly on the cold icy path. Seeing this Sam took out his own blanket and gave it to him.
Man looked up at Sam and started to tell him about the story of Sage and that thief.
Man continued and said, “Do you know about Sage Pavahari baba?? I am that thief.
From the day Sage touched me, a transformation happened into my life. I stopped being a thief and have been repenting and atoning for the sins I did in past.”
Sam share this story to tell us about true power of True Hindu Sage and Positive affect they have on people around them.

The Fox or the Lion
Part 1
The FOX or The LION:
Tired with the boredom of his normal life, Rama decided to go on a spiritual discovery.
He decided to spend a few days in a Jungle close to the village.
So, every day he meditated in the woods. Whenever he got hungry, he would come to the village. One day, while returning to the Jungle he noticed a severely injured fox. Its front legs were detached completely. Nature is not gentle to any kind of incapability. If you lose your legs, you lose your life. Yet, the fox looked well-fed and healthy.
Rama was surprised. But he ignored it and focused on his meditation.
As the sun set, Rama heard the roar of a lion. He forgot about his meditation and climbed up a tree.

Once a middle aged man lost his job and was looking for a job to support his living. In newspaper he found that a job of “Office Boy” is available. He needed a job badly so he applied for post of “office boy” at a very big firm.
Next day he was called for interview. Manager interviewed him and gave him a test. Man cleared the test.
Manager said, “You are hired.. Now give me your e-mail address so that i can send you further details and your joining letter..”
Man replied, “Sir, i don’t have a computer and neither do i have any e-mail address.”
Manager replied, “What..? In today time if you don’t have an e-mail id that means you don’t exist and that means you can’t get this job.. I am sorry but you are not hired.”

One day, in a heavily crowded place, a young man began shouting.
"People, look at me. I have the most beautiful heart in the world."
Many people looked at him and were stunned to see his beautiful heart in a perfect shape, without any flaw. It looked quite amazing. Most of the people who saw his heart were mesmerized by the beauty of his heart, and praised him.
However, there came an old man who challenged the young man, "No my son, I have got the most beautiful heart in the world!"
The young man asked him, "Show me your heart, then!"
The old man showed his heart to him. It was very rough, uneven, and had scars all over. In addition, the heart was not in shape; it appeared like bits and pieces joined in various colours. There were some rough edges; some parts were removed, and fitted with other pieces.

Abc is a middle aged man. Although he was born in a poor family, he was raised well by his father and mother. His father owned a welding shop, and used to work for more than 12 hours a day, so that his family could lead a comfortable life.
However, abc's father could not earn sufficient money to provide a decent life to his family. abc was an average student in school, and used to score around 70 percent marks. abc's dream was to become a doctor. Since his marks weren't very high, he could not get the desired course that he wanted to study. Instead, he joined a bachelor's degree course, completed the course successfully, and got a job in a company.

Robert got a job in a landlord's house.
Once, a landlord's friend came to his house. The landlord called Robert and asked him to bring his binocular.
Robert quickly went to the landlord's room and brought the binocular.
After the friend left, the landlord called Robert and scolded, "You should have asked me which binocular to bring, the one from England or the one from London. It would signify how rich I am." Robert nodded his head.
Few days later, another friend of the landlord came to his house. The friend saw a lion skin and asked the landlord who had killed it. The landlord said that it was his father.
The landlord then called Robert and asked him to bring his father's photograph.
At this Robert asked, "Which one sir- one of England or one of London?"🤣

A POND FULL OF MILK
Once there was a king who told some of his workers to dig a pond.
Once the pond was dug, the king made an announcement to his people saying that one person from each household has to bring a glass of milk during the night and pour it into the pond.
So, the pond should be full of milk by the morning.
After receiving the order, everyone went home.
One man prepared to take the milk during the night. He thought that since everyone will bring milk, he could just hide a glass of water and pour inside the pond. Because it will be dark at night, no one will notice. So he quickly went and poured the water in the pond and came back.
In the morning, the king came to visit the pond and to his surprise the pond was only filled with water!
What has happened is that everyone was thinking like the other man that “I don't have to put the milk, someone else will do it.”

Two Goats
Part 1
Once a goat was grazing on the grassy slope of a hill near a stream. It decided to taste the grass on the hills across. A narrow log served as a bridge across the stream. While crossing the bridge, it saw another goat coming from the other side. The bridge was so narrow that only one animal could cross the bridge at a time.
The first goat said to the other, "Let me pass first." "You let me pass first", snapped the other goat.
They started threatening each other and finally got into a terrible fight, so savagely that they lost their balance and fell into the stream.
The other goats grazing on the hills saw this spectacle and learnt a lesson.

There was a girl whose family was very wealthy. One day her father took her on a trip to the country where he aimed to show his daughter how poor people live. So they arrived at a farm of a very poor family. They spent several days there. On their return, the father asked his daughter, if she liked the trip.
Oh, it was great, dad - the girl replied.
Did you notice how poor people live? - the father asked.
Yeah, I did. - said the girl.
The father asked his daughter to tell in more detail about her impressions from their trip.
Well…we have only one dog and they have four of them. In our garden there is a pool while they have a river that has no end. We've got expensive lanterns, but they have stars above their heads at night. We have the patio and they have the whole horizon….the daughter replied in delight.

A rich man's son was graduating college.
For months, the son was asking his father for a new car, knowing that his father had more than enough money.
When graduation day came, the young man's father called him into the study. The father handed him a wrapped gift and congratulated the new about to be graduated on his achievement.
Looking disappointed, the son opened the gift to find a lovely, leather bound journal, with the young man's name embossed on the cover. He angrily raised his voice, threw down the journal and stormed out.
The young man had not seen his father since graduation day. He became successful and was wealthy like his father, with a beautiful home and family. He came to realize his father was aging and it may be time to put the past behind them.

A Unique Experience
Part 1
It was a cold and windy night. My friend and I had met after a long time, and were chatting for hours. We did not notice the time passing by, and soon it was close to ten in the night. We decided to take an auto rickshaw to go to our house.
It started raining, and we hurried to get into an auto rickshaw and reach our place. None of the auto rickshaws stopped for us, except one.
The driver asked us where we wanted to go and we told the place. Without saying anything about the fare, he said, "Please get in!" We thanked him and got in.
Since it was very cold, I asked the driver to stop at any small restaurant or a tea shop. We wanted to have a cup of hot tea. The driver stopped near a small restaurant.
We ordered tea, and asked the driver to join us and have a cup of tea. The driver refused. I insisted, but he refused again politely.
