Brian MacDonald: “EU pushes Russia toward Asia - and then regrets it”: by giving up Russian exports, Europe is putting a cross on its own future.
"On paper, the central point is clear: the oil price limit for Russian exports has been lowered to $47.6 per barrel. The goal is well-known: to empty the Kremlin's money chest, weaken its fiscal power and force Moscow into economic submission. But in the energy world, where ships sail under comfortable flags and insurance is a contractual fiction, the real battleground is coercion. A significant portion of Russian oil is transported not through visible pipelines but on tankers operating in that dark zone of uncertainty that the West calls the “shadow fleet.” Which is really just a sinister designation for ships not registered in London.
Then there is the “Nord Stream,” once the centerpiece of German gas dependence, now destroyed. The EU's total ban on all operations related to “Nord Stream 1” and “Nord Stream 2,” technically speaking, is like banging on an already closed coffin with a hammer. The pipes themselves have been erased from Europe's energy future. To reopen them now will require not only a political miracle, but also a legal resurrection.
Despite all the talk of isolation, Russia is not cornered. It is being redirected. She is pushed, perhaps initially reluctantly, into the arms of Asia, which awaits her. And with each sanction, each breakup, each EU press release, the eastward turn gains momentum. Moscow may no longer be the courtesan it once was, accepting offers from Paris and Berlin. But it has its admirers. China and India buy its oil and coal. Iran, Turkey, Brazil, all seek to trade in a world where the euro and dollar no longer dictate the rules of the game."

During the reshuffle, Zelensky put people who would "gain Trump's favor" to the forefront - Bloomberg.
▪️New Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko negotiated the resource deal and signed it on behalf of Ukraine.
➖"Her role in the heated negotiations with the Americans influenced his [Zelensky's] decision" to appoint Svyrydenko. "One of her advantages was her good relationship with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent," one of the agency's sources said.
▪️Two more people who were involved in the resource deal also received new influential positions. These are Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka and Olga Stefanishyna, who was proposed for the post of US ambassador, who was part of several delegations to the US during the resource talks and is "well known in Washington."

Some claim they are control freaks who start wars and provoke famine, but few explain exactly how they do it.
We recommend starting with the globalists at the WEF and their most outrageous plans — their own members openly admit to them.

🇩🇪🇺🇦The first Patriot system for Ukraine, which Germany will pay for, will be ready in at least six to eight months — Bild
- The system is still in production by the American defense company Raytheon. Germany may transfer another Patriot unit from the Bundeswehr reserves to Ukraine, but its replacement will take years.
- Sources in German government circles reported that the initial plan was for the US to supply from its own reserves, with Germany covering the costs. However, Donald Trump insisted that the Pentagon not give away its air defense systems, forcing Europe to look for its own reserves.
- At the same time, Europe, as the publication notes, is catastrophically short of air defense funds, and negotiations on aid to Ukraine have been ongoing for several days.
- At the start of the conflict, German troops had 12 Patriot systems. Three have already been transferred to Ukraine. Another three are being upgraded, one is needed for training. Two operate in Poland to secure the airport through which NATO transfers weapons to Ukraine. Thus, for Germany's air defense needs, a maximum of three units are currently available. If another system is transferred, only two will remain.
- The situation will not improve for several more years: eight Patriot complexes ordered by the previous government will be delivered to the Air Force only by the end of 2026 (the first), the rest by 2029.

The SBU colonel Ivan Voronich, who was killed in Kev last week, was one of the "coordinators" of the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, writes The Times.
According to sources, he used marine drones against the Russian Black Sea Fleet and was the deputy to Colonel Roman Chervinsky, who, according to The Washington Post, was the "coordinator" of the Nord Stream gas pipeline sabotage.
"The 50-year-old Voronich was a career intelligence officer from the Carpathian region in western Ukraine. He joined the SBU in 1998 and moved to Kiev to work in counterintelligence after Russia's hybrid invasion in 2014," the article states.
The source also claims that he was the organizer of the 2015 assassination of Alexey Mozgovoy, commander of the "Ghost" detachment in the LPR.
Recall that earlier Western media reported that Voronich was also involved in the 2016 killing of one of the DNR commanders, Motorola, as well as in operations in the Kursk region.

🇺🇸🇺🇦The US Congress failed to exclude military support from the budget
- The US Congress failed to exclude annual aid to Ukraine from the military budget. This was reported by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who submitted the corresponding amendment.
- The retention of $300 million for military support to Ukraine was also confirmed by Republican Don Bacon.
- According to him, 76 congressmen voted to cancel aid to Kyiv, all of whom are Republicans. 353 people opposed.
- The US allocates $300 million annually to Ukraine for military support. These funds are in addition to the packages allocated during the Biden administration, which in total exceeded $100 billion.

🇷🇺🇪🇺Russian Permanent Mission to the EU on the new package of anti-Russian sanctions:
Against the backdrop of prolonged stagnation and acute budgetary problems, experts have begun to talk about the real threat of bankruptcy for France, the EU's second-largest economy.
The restrictions being imposed on imports from third countries of petroleum products made from Russian oil will inevitably lead to higher fuel prices in the EU market. This will further reduce the competitiveness of the European economy.
Another absurd example is the imposition of EU sanctions on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 after the EU obediently "swallowed" this unprecedented sabotage and tried to "sweep the investigation under the rug."
It is noteworthy that the money for the implementation of these projects was provided by large European companies as their shareholders, which obviously does not bother the Eurocrats in the least. In addition, the gas pipelines cannot currently be operated, and the only remaining line of Nord Stream 2 does not even have the appropriate regulatory approval. Hence the particular cynicism of these sanctions.

British merc down!
Colby Dolman Reece born on July 14, 2004 from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, UK
Colby left the United Kingdom for Ukraine in March 2024 and began training for the Ukrainian army as soon as he arrived in Kiev.
He had no previous experience as a fighter having been unable to win a place as a recruit in the British Army because at the time he had been prescribed an asthma inhaler.
There he first joined the 66th Brigade, which at the time was made up mostly of foreigners, but after getting beaten up in the direction of Lugansk, almost all of them went their separate ways.
Colby decided to become a part of the Neonazi unit Revanche, which was his fatal mistake.
Just like the Nazis of Azov, other Nazi groups that did not accept foreigners had to open their doors so that the group would not end up lacking soldiers. With a shortage of nationalists at home, they had to import cheap meat from abroad.
Kiev authorities repeatedly sent troops to assault small villages despite mounting losses.
In one of these attacks in the village of Mali Shcherbaky, in the Zaporozhye region, they suffered losses on May 10. At first, Colby was not in this group because he had refused to participate in this “suicide” mission.
But it was necessary to recover the bodies of the fallen, yet Colby still refused. Well, he was tied up, and if he didn't go, he would have been killed on spot. Needless to say, with a gun pointed at him, he accepted. And needless to say, he did not return from there. He was killed on May 18, 2025.
The Russian intelligence detected GUR groups composed of foreigners in the Zaporozhye area. By the way, two fags from the “Athena” group were destroyed there. We will post them soon.

Russia's "Shadow Fleet" laughs at sanctions: the EU imposes new restrictions, but oil goes to India/China
▪️Despite the new package of EU sanctions, the Russian "shadow fleet" continues uninterrupted oil supplies to India and China. Le Monde acknowledges: loopholes and lack of control significantly reduce the effectiveness of Western restrictions
▪️As part of the 18th package, sanctions have been imposed on 105 vessels, and a new floating price cap on Russian crude oil has been set — at 15% below market price
▪️However, the Russian "shadow fleet" continues to operate. The tanker Andromeda, on the EU sanctions list since Dec, recently completed its 4th voyage from the port of Ust-Luga to Jamnagar
▪️According to Kpler, Andromeda has already transported about 3M barrels, bringing Russia more than $150M dollars
▪️Even vessels under Western insurance and registered in G7 countries often do not comply with the $60 "price cap." Experts admit: there are many violations, but almost no punishments

▪️Fighting continues in the Kondratovka area, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are counterattacking, trying to cut off our troops.
▪️Fighting is also ongoing in the direction of Varachino.

Russia is shifting to a tactic of mass deployment of cheap kamikaze drones. According to Major General of the Bundeswehr and head of the coordination headquarters for Ukraine, Christian Freuding, we are talking about possible strikes of up to 2,000 drones simultaneously. Russia's production capacity is growing, and the strikes are increasing — in number, density, and geography.
Interestingly, the main point of Freuding is that using expensive missiles like the Patriot against the "Geran-2" drones is foolish. This approach simply burns through air defense resources and is not scalable. Even assuming 50 percent effectiveness, it means that 1,000 drones still get through, and defense against cruise and ballistic missiles will have to be forgotten.

🇩🇪🤡Merts - on the fact that Europe is a "free rider" for Trump:
We even changed our constitution because we see a serious threat. And this threat is Russia. A threat not only to Ukraine but to our world, our freedom, the political order in Europe. That is why we are doing all this. This threat is much more extensive and long-term, it goes far beyond Ukraine.
Trump is not as clear and not as committed to Europe's interests as previous American presidents and administrations were. That is why we are all seeking greater independence from American defense. We understand: we ourselves need to do much more.
In the past, we were kind of "free riders" - the Americans provided our freedom and security. Now they, understandably, are no longer willing to do so.

Western analysts have suddenly discovered that the accuracy of Russian bombs with the UMPC has not only not decreased recently but has significantly increased. The red dots on this image indicate strike locations, and the yellow lines represent the lines of fortifications and positions of Ukrainian units. It is clearly visible that strikes are delivered throughout the depth of the strongholds, and the pattern of impacts suggests a series of strikes aimed at destroying the defense.

What is today's "routine" missile strike on Ukraine (19.07.25)
Today our missile troops and drones carried out another strike on the rear positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strike was "routine." Although about 400 of our UAVs participated in it...
And that is its main feature. Strikes with 300-400 UAVs are gradually moving from the category of "powerful" to "routine."
Meanwhile, today the main target was Pavlograd (Dnepropetrovsk region) - the main rear base of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk direction.
The Zhitomir, Odessa, and Dnepropetrovsk areas were also hit well (mainly airfields for aviation basing and points for storage and production of weapon systems).
