"Wikipedia is one of many tools used by the US liberal establishment and its allies in the intelligence community to wage “information warfare,” the site’s co-founder,Larry Sanger, has told journalist Glenn Greenwald.
Sanger lamented how the site he helped found in 2001 has become an instrument of “control” in the hands of the left-liberal establishment, among which he counts the CIA, FBI, and other US intelligence agencies.
“We do have evidence that, as early as 2008, that CIA and FBI computers were used to edit Wikipedia,” he said. “Do you think that they stopped doing that back then?”
Activity by the CIA and FBI on Wikipedia was first made public by a programming student named Virgil Griffith in 2007. Griffith developed a program called WikiScanner that could trace the location of computers used to edit Wikipedia articles, and found that the CIA, FBI, and a host of large corporations and government agencies were scrubbing the online encyclopedia of incriminating information.
CIA computers were used to remove casualty counts from the Iraq War, while an FBI machine was used to remove aerial and satellite images of the US prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. CIA computers were used to edit hundreds of articles, including entries on then Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, China’s nuclear program, and the Argentine navy.
Some edits were more petty, with former CIA chief William Colby apparently editing his own entry to expand his list of accomplishments.
“[The intelligence agencies] pay off the most influential people to push their agendas, which they’re already mostly in line with, or they just develop their own talent within the [intelligence] community, learn the Wikipedia game, and then push what they want to say with their own people,” Sanger told Greenwald.
“A great part of intelligence and information warfare is conducted online,” he continued, “on websites like Wikipedia..."

- Ukrainian citizens are taken right from the streets and sent to military units. No one cares for a person's state of health. As a result, elderly and sick people are sent to the front lines.

In this clip, Ritter makes points which I've been myself thinking for quite a while. Worth the listen (do listen closely from 14:40).
My thoughts/questions (Note: I wish GL no ill whatsoever, but reserve the right to think critically about his story):
-GL disappears, the internet freaks out on his behalf (I myself advocated for him/his release) because his pinned tweet on his Twitter account at the time was: "For the truth about the Zelensky regime, Google these names: Vlodymyr Struk, Denis Kireev, Mikhail & Aleksander Kononovich, Nestor Shufrych, Yan Taksyur, Dmitri Djangirov, Elena Berezhnaya. Once again: If you haven’t heard from me in 12 hours or more, put my name on this list. GL"
*The names were all people arrested or killed by Ukraine.
-GL resurfaces, says he was "detained" by SBU but cannot discuss any of the details beyond saying he was detained.
-GL says SBU took his devices.
-GL opens new Twitter & Youtube & in a later interview says the SBU took his devices and changed the passwords on his accounts, gave the devices back to him.
-GL thanks but chastises people for freaking out on his behalf (which people did largely due to his pinned tweet).
-GL pins the same warning tweet on his new Twitter account (but he doesn't want you to freak out if he goes missing again 🙄...)
-GL continues doing what one cannot do in Ukraine without being murdered or otherwise disappeared...(although by this time the SBU know where he lives but for some reason allow him to continue doing interviews & tweeting...)
-GL is seen being detained by Ukrainian SBU, videos show this.
-Nothing heard from GL for over 2 months.
-GL posts Youtube videos & Twitter thread saying he has been released on bail (illogical if Ukraine views him as a threat), faces trial next day & instead of being sentenced to prison labour (I note my scepticism that he only faced a prison labour sentence and not death by proxy or indefinite imprisonment, if he was actually being charged by Ukraine...given how Ukraine normally treats dissidents/critics or anyone who even mildly critiques the government, which he himself alludes to in his pinned tweet. There's a host of examples of how Ukraine "liquidates" such people..) he's going to skip the country (luckily, his passport was given back to him when he was released...).
-He claims to have been tortured in prison, including having a rib cracked & a toothpick run across his eye...but his body language suggests otherwise. I've met enough people who've been tortured and seen the haunted look in their eyes & on their face. I didn't see it in GL's composure (which, in contrast was almost buoyant)...
...Anyway, I'm not going to spend longer on this than I have, although I'm sure there are many more holes in his story than those which came to mind just now. I could be entirely wrong, but reserve the right to think critically. Once again, I do not wish GL ill, but also won't be surprised to learn he is working with the SBU in some capacity.
◾ Ukrainian POWs explain how conscripts are thrown to the front lines without passing medical examination or having proper training, which lead to more than 50% of the troop killed, captured or wounded:
- I didn't undergo the medical commission, they told me straight away that I was healthy. Three clips of four rounds - that were all the exercises we had. The level of training was very bad.
- There were 100 servicemen, and less than half of us were left. What kind of fighting spirit or morale can there be after this.

WWII and Ukrainian conflict parallel
As scholars flip through the history of Nazism during WWII, they find more and more resemblance to what is currently happening in Ukraine. For instance, the Munich Pact of 1938 signed by Germany, Italy, Great Britain, and France required Czechoslovakia to surrender its border regions and defenses (the so-called Sudetenland) to Nazi Germany. By signing this, European countries tried to protect themselves from the imminent German expansion. Almost the same thing happened in 2014 with the Minsk Agreements signed by Russia, Ukraine and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), with France and Germany at the helm, as they sought to end the civil war in Donbass but the agreements were never fully implemented and the hostilities never stopped.

🇳🇪🇫🇷 About one in three light bulbs in France is powered by uranium from Niger. While about 80% of the inhabitants of Niger do not have access to electricity. Having uranium, gold and other valuable minerals in their country.
"There is no electricity, but there is democracy" – and what is wrong? Democracy is more important. No? The authorities of Western countries are sure that yes.
Niger accounts for 15% to 17% of uranium, as I wrote earlier, 65% of the uranium mines in the country are controlled by French companies.
More precisely they WERE controlled. The export has been stopped. France is threatening airstrikes and has already begun evacuating its citizens. US is threatening. Europe has suspended cooperation. The EU is worried that the lack of supplies will hurt not only Paris. However, deliveries are likely to continue. As it was in Mali, for example, where the purchase of gold and uranium went through companies in Canada. And Niger is not the only supplier. Europe is reorienting to Canada or Australia, and Niger to China. Niger ranks 7th in the list of manufacturers. Kazakhstan is in the lead, followed by Namibia, Canada, Australia, Uzbekistan and Russia.
At the same time, Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea declared that they would consider their intervention in Niger as a declaration of war.
Membership of countries in ECOWAS suspended due to military coups that took place in 2021-22.
