🇺🇸🪖Confidence in U.S. military lowest in over two decades
Americans have become less likely to express "a great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in the U.S. military, with a noticeable decline that has persisted for the past five years.
▪️At 60%, confidence in the military was last this low in 1997, and it hasn’t been lower since 1988, when 58% were confident.
Confidence held above 70% for two decades after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, until dipping to 69% in 2021 and declining further since then, following the poorly executed exit from Afghanistan.
▪️Republicans are the most likely to express confidence in the military, but the rate has fallen more than 20 points in three years, from 91% to 68%.
Independents’ confidence has declined from 68% to 55%, and now independents have less confidence than Democrats do.
Interesting trend. Certainly, the woke agenda has played its part in the decline of the army's prestige.

🔹 In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the RF Armed Forces successfully counterattacked and regained several lost positions northeast of #Rabotino. Methodical strikes on AFU reserves and equipment continue along the entire #Zaporozhye front. The strikes hit 3 areas of accumulations, the AFU has significant losses in reserves.
🔹 In the #SouthDonetsk Direction, the counterattack of the RF Armed Forces near #Staromayorskoye continues, Russian fighters are regaining their previously lost positions. It is obvious that the AFU is targeting #Urozhaynoye - having occupied #Staromayorskoye, they did not waste their forces to gain a foothold, but began demining our engineering barriers in the direction of #Urozhaynoye, the work of the AFU aviation, shelling - everything speaks about the imminent attempts of assault.
🔹 In the #Avdeyevka Direction, the AFU was going to counterattack 9 times, in 6 cases the Russian artillery did not even allow them to form up in combat order. The RF Armed Forces continue their attempts to push the AFU out of #Maryinka, where they control the western quarters.

Guinea’s ruling junta, which toppled President Alpha Conde in a 2021 coup, said it backs the soldiers who seized power last week in Niger.
The junta, known as the CNRD, is convinced that the new authorities will make every effort to guarantee stability and harmony in Niger and in the sub-region, the chief of defense staff, General Ibrahima Sory Bangoura, said in a statement.
Sanctions and military force “cannot be a solution to the current problem,” Bangoura said. “Therefore, the CNRD refrains from applying these illegitimate and inhuman sanctions against the brotherly people and the Nigerien authorities.”

◾AFU servicemen choose life and captivity in first battle
◾ POWs said they were forcibly mobilised into the army. The ukrainian military commissars, despite the illnesses and contraindications to hard physical labour of the servicemen, declare everyone fit for the service and send them for training. The soldiers were trained at firing ranges near Rovno, Lvov and even 3 weeks in France, but the training was poor.
◾ On the front line, Ukrainians were equipped only with assault rifles and grenade launchers, they had no special equipment. Morale in the unit was low. There were no commanders at the front lines: Ukrainian officers directed the troops from the rear area by radio.

🔹 The enemy once again attacked #Moscow with three drones. One of the drones was shot down by air defence systems, while the remaining drones were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment, after which they crashed into two towers in the #Moscow City Business Centre. In addition, the AFU once again attempted to strike the Crimean peninsula: 25 UAVs were shot down and suppressed near Cape #Tarkhankut.
🔹On the front today, there is relative calm. Positional clashes continue in the area of #Novoyegorovka and #Serebryanskoye forestry in #Starobelsk direction. At the same time, the intensity of fighting has decreased in the #Orekhov section.
🔹The daily shelling of the Russian border areas continues. Settlements of the #Bryansk, #Belgorod, #Kherson regions, as well as the Donetsk People's Republic, were under attack. Unfortunately, there are destructions and casualties.
