Iran will not open the Strait of Hormuz to shipping until the United States accepts Tehran's conditions.
Until all these conditions are fulfilled, if the legitimate rights of the Iranian people will not be recognized, and the obligations of the Americans will not be fulfilled, there will not be the slightest possibility of returning to the previous terms of negotiations and opening the Strait of Hormuz.

The NIA says Matthew Aaron VanDyke, an American mercenary who previously fought in Libya's civil war and trained Ukraine's military through his firm Sons of Liberty International, ran the network behind the February 20, 2026 FPV drone strike on a Myanmar National Airlines ATR-72-600 at Myitkyina Airport, alongside six Ukrainian nationals: Viktor Kaminskyi, Petro Hurba, Taras Slyviak, Ivan Sukmanovskyi, Marian Stefankiv, and Maksim Honcharuk. Investigators say at least 14 Ukrainians entered India on tourist visas, traveled through Guwahati to Mizoram without required permits, then illegally crossed into Myanmar for training with local ethnic armed groups on drone warfare, assembly, and jamming.
This escalates a case that's been running since March, when all seven were arrested at airports in Kolkata, Lucknow, and Delhi under India's anti-terror law (UAPA). They've been held in Tihar Jail since April.
VanDyke's family has been separately campaigning for his release: on August 30, his firm Sons of Liberty International put out a statement from his mother calling his detention a "humanitarian emergency," claiming he's innocent, held in solitary confinement, denied basic detainee rights, and not receiving proper medical care, while urging the US government to intervene diplomatically.

❗️Shadowy energy traders supplying millions of barrels of crude to Israel via Turkish ports
According to an investigative report by Oil Change International (OCI) and the Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO), shadowy energy traders Vitol and Heritage Petroleum FZCO have emerged as top suppliers of crude oil to Israel, exporting approximately 22 million barrels—representing 11 percent of total imports—between October 2023 and June 2026.
The report reveals that despite Ankara's official trade embargo against Israel implemented in May 2024, the vast majority of the oil shipped by Swiss-based Vitol and Dubai-based Heritage flowed directly through the Turkish port of Ceyhan via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
Researchers identified two Turkish subsidiaries linked to Heritage on local registries, with a representative for shipping firm Shiptech explicitly confirming to investigators that Shiptech and Heritage "are the same."
While major oil conglomerates have faced heavy scrutiny, the secretive network of traders operating behind the scenes has largely evaded public attention. As Andy Rowell, a contributing editor at OCI, noted regarding the opaque operations: "Heritage has appeared out of nowhere to be a leading charterer of fuel to Israel, and its operations are very opaque."
In response to the findings, a Turkish foreign ministry source told Middle East Eye that vessels departing Ceyhan do not list Israel as their authorized destination, claiming that cargo ownership is frequently "transferred to third-party buyers, creating a possibility for subsequent changes to the final destination while in transit."

Less oil was produced in the Middle East, and tankers almost stopped passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Brent crude oil has risen from about $70 to $95 per barrel during this time.
Transportation of goods will also become more expensive. Diesel is needed for trucks, trains, ships, agricultural machinery, and fishing vessels.

Out of every $100 in the price of products, $15 to $30 goes to fuel.

Over the past several days, the Russian Armed Forces delivered a series of combined strikes against military and logistics infrastructure facilities in so-called Ukraine. The main focus was on Kyiv Region, where defense industry enterprises, transport and logistics centers, and weapons storage facilities were targeted.
➡️According to the Defense Ministry, several important enemy facilities in Kyiv and the region were struck over several days. Among them are enterprises producing UAVs and ground robotic systems "Lyut" and "Khizhak," storage facilities with components for cruise missiles "Flamingo" belonging to "Stellar Jet," as well as facilities for storing chemical substances and rocket accelerators for "Fire Point" company.
Additionally, major logistics centers in Boryspil, Brovary, and Kyiv involved in storage and distribution of various cargo came under fire. Among them are the transport and logistics complexes "Raven Ukraine," "San-Park," and "Aleksandrovskiy."

According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Sibiga, the country’s leadership has already approached the International Telecommunication Union.
Kyiv claims that the system is being used for military purposes and is calling on its allies to support this demand.
