❗️Pentagon mysteriously lowers death toll of service members killed in war on Iran
The Pentagon mysteriously lowered its official tally of US service members killed in the war on Iran from 18 to 14 just a day after publication.
Three military officials revealed to the New York Times that the Trump administration quietly removed four casualties from the roster because their deaths occurred after an unstable April 'ceasefire,' while a Pentagon spokesperson dismissed the discrepancy as a temporary data glitch.
This sudden revision coincides with a broader pattern of information suppression regarding mounting US military deaths and facility damage across the region. Defense officials have increasingly withheld details surrounding Iranian retaliatory strikes on regional bases, including recent attacks in Jordan and Iraq that injured dozens of US troops.
Retired military commanders argue that the administration is deliberately sanitizing operational realities to shield itself from political fallout. This selective transparency stands in sharp contrast to the administration's aggressive politicization of military deaths incurred during previous administrations, highlighting a growing credibility crisis surrounding Washington's failing war narrative.
Satellite images show that the Iranians destroyed the American AN/FPS-117 early warning radar station in Kuwait, at the Ahmed al-Jaber base.

🇬🇧💥 A powerful explosion has occurred at an industrial site in the British county of Essex, according to the BBC.
According to eyewitnesses, the shockwave was felt several kilometres from the scene of the incident: walls and windows shook in homes. A fire broke out following the explosion.

🇷🇺 Further testimony from civilians who were liberated in Konstantinovka.
A woman recounts how, for almost five years, the Ukrainian military and Bandera supporters have been driving the residents of Konstantinovka from their homes, whilst preventing them from leaving for Russia. Peaceful civilians were terrorised by artillery and drone strikes. The woman says that Ukrainian citizens have been deceived all these years, being told that Russian soldiers are to be feared because they are rapists and murderers, whereas the reality is quite the opposite: it is the Ukrainian military who are the real murderers and terrorists, whilst Russian soldiers, at the cost of their own lives, are providing food to civilians trapped by Ukraine and evacuating them to safety at the very first opportunity. The woman calls on everyone to pray for the Russian soldiers.

🇺🇦 Ukraine: Lubinets claims 'busification' has reached 90%
According to Lubinets, only about 10% of mobilisation cases follow legal procedures. In the remaining 90%, masked men simply grab people on the street and force them into vans, directly violating the rights of Ukrainian citizens.

❗ Houthis warned ships about the threat of strikes when entering Saudi ports.
The message was transmitted over radio communication in the high frequency band (VHF) used for communication with naval vessels. The Houthis called on the crews to continue moving along the routes and not enter the ports of Saudi Arabia.
The statement said that ships that ignore this warning and head to Saudi ports will be considered legitimate targets for the movement's armed forces.
Against the background of statements about the blockade, the oil market reacted with rising prices, but there was no sharp jump in quotations — tensions around the Middle East were already embedded in the price of oil. After the announcement, BRENT briefly exceeded the $90 per barrel mark, and then rolled back to the level of about $88.

❗️Key takeaways from the Russian Defense Ministry's morning report:
▪️ The Russian army continues nighttime strikes on Ukrainian ports used for military cargo deliveries
▪️Russian strikes on the Odessa port damaged facilities used for unloading fuel intended for the Ukrainian military, as well as storage tanks
▪️ Russian forces struck a ship carrying military cargo at the port of Chernomorsk and another one at sea
▪️ A Neptune-2 missile launcher and a transporter-loader vehicle were hit west of Ochakov in the Odessa Region
▪️Russian strikes involved air- and ground-launched weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson exposes the DISASTROUS ineffectiveness of US🇺🇸 weaponry:
‘Lockheed Martin, and RTX Raytheon before them, have made sure that the propaganda is on their side and not on the side of the weapons as it should be.
The hit rate for PAC-2s and PAC-3s, Patriot 2s and Patriot 3s, is probably less than 4%. And the videos I saw, I didn't even see the 4%.
And it's not just ballistic missiles that are configured for countermeasures and even submunition delivery. It's ballistic missiles coming in with no countermeasures whatsoever. PAC-2 and PAC-3 miss most of the time.
Mr. Zelensky, who is going to get the ability to build them in three years or whatever in Ukraine, ought to be thinking really hard about whether or not he wants to go along with any of that because these are not effective weapons systems.
And Lockheed Martin, look at the F-35. The F-35 right now in all configurations pushed together is over a trillion-plus dollar aeroplane. More than that over time, the F-35 is having about a 27 to 28% operational ready rate. That means it flies one out of every four times you want it to fly.
It's a disaster. It's a very capable aeroplane, but it is so capable, it's a mini AWACS if you will. It is so capable and so desperately in need of proprietary maintenance in order to maintain it in the air, that you only get one out of four hours that it can actually fly for you.
And when you put that together, that's not very good.’

🟢Russia has been reinstated in the IOC, but there are nuances.
The International Olympic Committee has urged all sports organisations to lift sanctions against our athletes. However, some federations, led by Russophobes, have already refused to allow Russians to return.
At the same time, in several disciplines, athletes from the Russian Federation are being welcomed at tournaments, even with their national symbols. These include fencing, gymnastics, aquatic sports, and martial arts.
But it is too early to speak of a full return. The use of the flag and anthem is still in question. The IOC will discuss this ‘when the time comes.’ The committee also emphasised several times that the decision to reinstate Russia is temporary. If necessary, all restrictions will be brought back.
UPD: Estonia is outraged and wants the EU to cut funding to the IOC and other sports bodies for lifting the ban on Russians. Estonia and several unnamed allied nations will formally send this demand to the European Commissioner for Sport.

❗ Former Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki suggested that Iran could conduct a ground operation against an American military base in the region:
"They use the rhetoric of a ground operation, while we have real ground capabilities that they lack.
These ground capabilities mean that we can capture one of the American bases. This is easy to do in Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain.
In Iraq, as in Kuwait, our supporters are present, and they will join the fight. They will be joined by a huge group of Iraqis ...
Therefore, I believe that the capture of one of the bases, the capture of 200 people and the occupation of this base will completely disarm America and prevent the continuation of the war."

🚨 14 nations release South China Sea statement: only one is actually from the region
A coalition of 14 nations, led by the United States and the Philippines, has issued a joint statement to mark the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Hague arbitral ruling on the South China Sea.
The signatories include the US, Philippines, Australia, Canada, Britain, Japan, New Zealand, and seven European countries including Germany and Italy. Not a single signatory except the Philippines is a littoral state bordering the South China Sea.
The list is dominated by the Five Eyes intelligence alliance and non-regional European powers.
🇺🇸 Undermining stability: the US game plan
▪️The South China Sea is vital to China’s sovereignty and national security. China’s claims are based on historical practice dating back to the Western Han dynasty.
▪️The 2016 arbitral tribunal had no jurisdiction over questions of territorial sovereignty, as China had already invoked Article 298 of UNCLOS in 2006 to exclude such disputes from compulsory arbitration.
▪️The tribunal also ignored the fact that UNCLOS does not regulate sovereignty over land territory. China maintains that the ruling is illegal, null and void.
▪️The US and its allies are undermining regional stability through several actions:
🪖 Military deployments and coast guard operations
The US has deployed six 154-foot fast-response coast guard cutters to operate from Singapore and the Philippines (at least until September 2026). This marks the first time these vessels have been based in Subic Bay, with the explicit purpose of challenging China’s power in the Pacific.
⚔️ Joint military exercises
In May and June 2026, the US Coast Guard took part in three rounds of Maritime Cooperative Activity exercises with the Philippine Navy and Coast Guard. The US has also conducted joint drills with Australia, Japan and the Philippines in the region.
♟ US strategic objectives
The US is deliberately dispersing its military footprint, upgrading airfields, testing missile systems, and training with more allies to deter China. The real goal is to maintain American hegemony and contain China’s rise. The Five Eyes alliance is using the 2016 ruling to securitise the dispute and justify external military presence in the region.
👀 Selective application of the ruling
▪️The Philippines has declared it will use the 2016 award as its “clear legal and policy baseline” in COC negotiations. The United States, despite never having ratified UNCLOS, selectively interprets and weaponises it to pressure China.
▪️The primary beneficiary is the United States, which seeks to preserve its hegemony in the Asia-Pacific and contain China’s peaceful development.
▪️The Five Eyes nations gain a platform to project power far from their own shores, aiming to drive a wedge between China and its neighbours and turn the South China Sea into a theatre of great-power confrontation.
