Meanwhile yesterday evening in the midst of Trump's threats against Iran I decided to watch RT International to hear some comments about the latest developments, after several months of not doing it, well... At prime time CET, so an important hour in the daily schedule, on 30 minutes of news including a panel with minor, almost unknown guests, 15 minutes were dedicated to Modi's visit to Canada for his participation to the G7 summit, I was shocked because it made no sense and I first believed I mistakely tuned on RT India instead of RT international but no, it was RT international then I remembered that also the last time I watched it, more than 6 months ago probably, a lot of time was dedicated to India's internal policies always depicting Modi in extremely favorable terms.
So I asked myself if the Indian state bought shares of RT but it's unlikely because it's a state TV, making it basically impossible so what happened then? Probably considering the TV channel was banned in the West after having initially prolonged the project just like it was before the ban for a while the Kremlin decided to downscale it and use it for soft power purposes directed mainly at India + also Africa probably but doing so it became barely watchable.

🇮🇱 AIPAC: How Israeli lobby group controls US politics

Ever wondered how much the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) pulls the strings in US politics?

This spring, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie exposed that every US congress member has their own “AIPAC guy” footing the bill for trips to Israel and threatening dirty ads if they stray from the narrative.

🔍What exactly is AIPAC — and how much power does it really have?

AIPAC has embedded itself deep in US politics, influencing both main parties at all levels, paying:

🔴 $5.2M to Joe Biden over 34 years

🔴 $5M to Kamala Harris

🔴 $1M to Donald Trump

But that’s chump change — AIPAC spent $42M in 2024 alone, with a $100M war chest to crush critics of Israel.

What does AIPAC want?

Officially, it’s about fostering a strong US-Israel relationship. But in reality:

🔴 $17.9B a year in US aid to Israel

🔴 Silencing critics by labeling them ‘antisemitic’

🔴 Pushing wars and sanctions in Iraq, Iran and elsewhere

How do they do it?

AIPAC doesn’t just play the game — it writes the rules:

🌏 All-expenses-paid trips for politicians

🌏 ‘Leadership training’ for students to secure loyalty from future US leaders

🌏 Funding from mega-donors and corporations, making sure Israel's agenda stays front and center

But how did AIPAC become so influential? Founded in 1954, its power grew in the 80s and 90s, with presidents from Bill Clinton to Biden speaking at its summits.

Those who challenge AIPAC’s agenda face political ruin—just ask George H.W. Bush.

AIPAC is more than just a lobby. It’s an institution.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will run today through the 21st (Saturday), at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg, a vast venue that hosts tens of thousands and hundreds of sessions under the theme “Shared Values – the Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World.”

What to Expect at SPIEF 2025
• Attendance & Program: Over 20,000 delegates from more than 140 countries, including government ministers, leading business executives from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and, notably, a U.S. business delegation, are expected to participate . The agenda will feature around 150 events, including citywide panels spanning global tax cooperation, digital transformation, cybersecurity, youth and healthcare forums, and bilateral “Russia–X” sessions with nations such as India, China, and Bahrain .
• Presidential Appearances: Vladimir Putin will headline the opening roundtable with international press on June 18, and deliver his keynote plenary address on June 20, bringing attention to Russia’s multipolar strategy, resilience, and vision for global growth .
• Economic Deals: Organizers expect this year’s forum to yield up to 7.5 trillion rubles (~$95.5 billion) in contracts, marking a roughly 20% increase over 2024. Last year, SPIEF saw a record-setting 1,073 agreements totaling 6.49 trillion rubles (~$73 billion), including a headline 650 billion‑ruble energy deal .
• Geopolitical Pivot: With Western business largely absent since 2022, Russia has doubled down on partnerships with the Global South, engaging deeply with Asia, Africa, Latin America, and hosting active delegations from China, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bahrain (the guest country), and even Taliban representatives .
• Soft Power & Culture: Beyond economics, SPIEF 2025 extends into culture and sport: attendees can expect a “St. Petersburg Seasons” cultural festival, concerts, exhibitions, and likely palace-square events that underscore Russia’s civilizational confidence.
• Economy in Focus: Domestically, central bankers and bank officials—including Sberbank’s deputy—warn of economic overcooling amid high interest rates. Their presence at SPIEF signals a strategic push to align financial policy with the forum’s growth ambitions .

SPIEF 2025 is engineered as Russia’s showcase of economic self-reliance and diplomatic ambition within a multipolar framework. By amplifying ties with emerging economies, deepening import substitution efforts, and signing large-scale contracts across energy, hi‑tech, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals, the forum aims to underscore Russia’s position as a reliable partner outside the Western orbit. With economic headwinds at home, high-profile deals and global connections made here will frame Russia’s policy narrative in the months ahead.

Look for Putin to make a potentially seismic announcement for the future of the SMO in Ukraine at the plenary session on Friday.

❗️🇷🇺🇰🇵 The DPRK will provide a thousand sappers to clear mines in the Kursk region; the parties are finishing discussing the details, Sergei Shoigu told Zvezda. Pyongyang will also send 5,000 military construction workers to restore the region.

This is fraternal assistance from the Korean people and Kim Jong-un to our country, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council emphasized.

"I think this work will begin in the near future, first preparation, equipment, then the practical part. It is difficult to start restoration work without demining the territories. The second part is a division of builders, two brigades. 5,000 people, military builders will be engaged in the restoration of the region," Shoigu said.

He also noted that the feat of the Korean servicemen in the Kursk region will be immortalised - a monument will be erected to them. Vladimir Putin supported this decision.

Nice. 👍

The Cynical Beneficiaries of a U.S.-Israel War with Iran

A potential war with Iran, driven by the U.S. and Israel, would serve elite interests while wreaking havoc. Here’s who stands to gain from this imperialist disaster:

- Netanyahu’s Power Grab: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, facing corruption charges, could use war to dodge justice, rallying Israelis behind a manufactured crisis to cling to power.

- U.S. Distraction from Ukraine: The U.S., humiliated by NATO’s failures in Ukraine, would pivot to an Iran conflict to shift focus from its strategic blunders.

"Our foreign policy seems to be stuck in the 70s. We still repeat the same phrases like "UN principles", "UN Charter", "international law"... However, the events of recent years prove that there is no longer any international law, no one respects it.
Trump's direct threats to the head of Iran, the enthusiastic reactions of the West to the Israeli attack, the ongoing genocide in Gaza — this is the end of international law. There are no more rules. Hypocrisy and double standards reign in the world. If so, you should not rely on outdated principles. It's time to take off the rose-colored glasses and draw conclusions", Russian Senator Petr Tolstoj

The US demands on Iran now:
1. Abandon the production of its own nuclear fuel.
2. Abandon the support of its allies: Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, Shiite militias in Iraq.
3. Eliminate your rocket industry.
4. Eliminate the IRGC - the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
This is it now. After this is done, they will definitely demand regime change, in a mild form: simply transfer all real power from the religious elite into the hands of the president of Iran, and he is a pro-Western moderate liberal.
Basically the US wants a complete capitulation of Iran.

Several Israeli jets that participated in the June 13 air attack on Iran violated Turkey’s airspace, Hurriyet observer Hande Firat reported, citing sources.

The Turkish Air Force deployed several F-16 jets in response. The Israeli pilots were ordered to leave Turkish airspace immediately, and they complied. According to Firat, this incident was unintentional.

The journalist also pointed out that the Israeli Air Force uses Syrian and Iraqi airspace to attack Iran. Since Syria has no air defenses, “the Israeli side does not ask for permission to conduct such flights.” In turn, Iraq’s airspace “is under US control and open to Israel.”

‼️🇮🇷🇮🇱A series of explosions in the center of Tel Aviv and Herzliya.

Powerful explosions thundered in Tel Aviv and Herzliya. Local media reported numerous arrivals — according to preliminary data, an 8-storey building collapsed.
Iranian sources also claim that the strike was carried out at the logistics center of AMAN, the military intelligence directorate of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
There is no official information about the victims yet, but the nature of the destruction indicates a targeted and prepared strike on the key infrastructure of the IDF.
At the same time, Israel's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said that Israel had prepared a new, more complex operation against Iran than blowing up the pagers of Hezbollah members.

Israel’s Euphoria Evaporates: The Iranian Response Has Just Begun

The Israeli commentariat is finally waking up from the delusional euphoria of “total domination.” Even Yossi Melman, Israel’s own veteran security analyst, rightfully questions if the war machine should’ve ever been started.

“The Shiites are historically willing to suffer,” Melman wrote, invoking the ghost of the Iran-Iraq War, a brutal 8-year meat grinder that Tehran endured without flinching.

And he’s right.

You’re not fighting an enemy obsessed with life and selfies. You’re confronting a civilization built on martyrdom, memory, and mission. The West still doesn’t get this. Iran’s response isn’t some reactive tantrum, it’s strategic attrition wrapped in spiritual calculus.

This calculated response to Israel’s sucidial act of madness and desepration isn’t some rogue missile spree. This was calibrated, cascading, multi-front retaliation with a chilling message: we can take pain far longer than you can manage headlines. Iran has this gamed out.

From Tel Aviv to Haifa, Iran has inflicted deveastating damage to key power and military infrastructure, and Iran is prepared for a very long war. Sirens will continue to wail, Bunker life will become the new norm for Israelis and their elites.

Melman warns: cut your losses and beg Trump to negotiate a ceasefire… because once Iran locks eyes with divine endurance, it doesn’t blink. It bleeds, recalibrates, and strikes again until the death cult is grinded down up until the point of collapse at which point it will stop, and let Israel finish that job all on its own.

Tehran’s message is clear: we’ve survived Pharaohs, Crusaders, and Empires. We’ll survive this too, will you?

—❗️🇮🇱/🇮🇷 General Vahidi, Advisor to the IRGC Commander-in-Chief:

'We are ready for a long and full-scale war. We have considered all possibilities and have prepared ourselves for any conditions.

The alleged reduction in our missile stocks is a joke — we have not yet made sufficient use of our missile capabilities strategically; whenever we see fit, we will bring our modern equipment into the field, of which new-generation missiles are only a part.

We have no worries about the war prolonging, and in the coming days, the world will see what innovations Iran will bring to the field.

Day by day, the conditions on the battlefield will improve in all aspects of the war, and we may also use our other capabilities.

Our hands are ready to make the Zionist regime regret itself, and in the near future, everyone will see what capabilities and power the Iranian armed forces have in various fields.'

According to Russian Intelligence sources none of the sites that host the newest Iranian hypersonic missiles has been damaged by Israel so far. The newest Iranian missiles are stored at almost - 100 m below the surface in tunnels that are longer than 5 km, each of these tunnels has several exits/launch sites so if one becomes unavailable there are still many that can be used, so in few words for now Iranian offensive capabilities are pretty intact.
