▪️US seeks to adopt new doctrine to improve survivability of its air bases in the Pacific amid war with China;
▪️The doctrinal shift will take years and likely won’t be complete until after China irreversibly surpasses the US economically and militarily;
▪️The US is also building “civilian” infrastructure close to the Chinese island province of Taiwan, further escalating tensions between the US and China but also involving the Philippines deeper as a US proxy;
▪️The Philippines had been a US colony until 1946 and Washington has sought to reassert itself over Filipino sovereignty ever since, compelling Manila to make decisions that suit Washington at Manila’s expense;
▪️China is the Philippines’ largest trade partner, thus Manila siding with Washington against China will cost the Philippines opportunities the US cannot offer in terms of economics and development;

Transactions financed in 🇨🇳 renminbi and converted directly into 🇧🇷reals have been successfully completed, according to the Bank of China.
The deal involved a leading pulp exporter in Eldorado Brazil, which shipped goods from the port of Santos to Qingdao in August.
The two BRICS nations signed a memorandum of understanding back in April to boost trade without the US dollar.

Today is the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China 🇨🇳.
Upwards of 20 million people sacrificed their lives in the liberation war, 10 million alone in the war against Japanese aggression.
In 1949, China was isolated by Euro-American sanctions and excluded from UN recognition. However, China’s economic and military self-reliance propelled the country forward and by 1971, the hope of the PRC falling died.
China has since become the world’s second largest economy and leader in the most advanced fields of science and technology. More importantly, the lives of Chinese people have improved dramatically. In 1948, life expectancy was under 45. Now it has surpassed the US at 78. Extreme poverty is a thing of the past. Relative poverty is set to end by 2049.
China leads a multipolar world that fully respects sovereignty. Its Belt and Road Initiative has participation from 75 percent of the world’s nations.
China is the future.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley told CBS News today that the so-called Chinese spy balloon 🎈 that flew over the U.S. seven months ago wasn’t spying at all.

The Secretary's statement was published by Fox News.
The Secretary noted that China has been building up its military power for 20 years.
“We must be prepared for a war in which we do not yet have experience,” the US Air Force Secretary said.
“China has been developing its weapons rapidly over the past 20 years, and now they have become a major problem,” Kendall said.
The Secretary warned that if US capabilities prove insufficient “to deter Chinese aggression against Taiwan or elsewhere,” then war could break out.

Chinese firm to produce smart tech in Russia’s Far East
The company plans to invest more than $100 million in a new industrial park in Amur Region
China’s Xuanyuan Group Industrial Development plans to create an industrial park in Russia’s Far Eastern Amur Region, the company announced on Sunday, according to TASS. It signed a declaration of intent with the Amur Region Investment Attraction Agency on the first day of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
According to the deal, the Chinese company will invest up to 10 billion rubles ($102 million) in the industrial park, which will create over 400 jobs in the region. The park will produce smart equipment, including robots, 3D printers, drones, wind turbine blades, tanks for storage and transportation of liquefied natural gas and helium, and other technological goods.
The project envisages the creation of a science and research center, a production base for robotics and 3D printing, smart warehouses, and engineering infrastructure. Xuanyuan Group said it has a strong research and development team and long-term cooperation with leading technological institutes in China, which will help the company in its work on the industrial park.
“We want to build something new, different from what we had before – a new industrial park complex for the production of intelligent equipment. We know that there are good business opportunities in the Amur region, we have already looked at the site offered to us. We plan to attract experienced Chinese manufacturers to work with us,” Xuanyuan Group CEO Hailong Xue told reporters.
According to Sergey Khmura, the deputy head of the Amur Region Investment Attraction Agency, the industrial park will offer equal opportunities for companies of both Russian and Chinese origin.
“This is a very important stage for the development of the region’s economy. It shows how much the region is becoming a priority in terms of high-tech development and cooperation with foreign investors. Previously, entrepreneurs from Asia were interested in mining, timber logging, and agriculture. Now the region is developing conditions for high-tech industry,” he stated. (Source: RT) @LauraRuHK
