From 2005-13 we almost had 1 or 2 major terror attack/bomb blasts in metro cities almost every year. Almost 350-400 civilian deaths were reported.
Post 2014, except a few isolated minor bomb blasts such as the Bangalore Rameshwaram cafe blast, or a little serious one the Delhi one in Nov 2025, there have been ZERO major terror attacks in big cities outside Kashmir
And also the number of terror attacks which averaged 1500/year during the UPA years in 2004-14 dropped down below 90 in 2024/25.
Terrorist attacks have largely reduced in the last 10 years and are today mostly concentrated in Kashmir unlike pre-2014 where every major city was under strict vigil all year.
