🚨🇮🇳🇵🇰 INDIA-PAK TENSIONS THREATEN KEY TRADE ROUTES
A military escalation between India and Pakistan could disrupt crucial trade routes in Eurasia, causing massive economic losses.
🔍 Here’s what’s at risk:
◾️Attari-Wagah border: After the Pahalgam attack, this key trade route was shut down, halting $1B in trade, including critical supplies like pharmaceuticals and machinery between Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
◾️Karachi-Mumbai/Delhi sea routes: The two countries rely heavily on sea routes. A military conflict could block these, delaying goods like textiles, spices, cotton, and chemicals, worth over $500M.
◾️Indirect Dubai route: $10B worth of Indian goods to Pakistan via Dubai have already been stopped due to rising tensions, with airspace bans expected to spike shipping costs and delay critical textile deliveries.
◾️Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route: Trade in handicrafts and fruits has been halted since the Pahalgam attack. If tensions continue to rise, complete trade restrictions could devastate communities relying on cross-border farming along the Line of Control.
◾️China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC): This $62B investment project passes through Kashmir, a region fraught with conflict. Any military escalation threatens both regional stability and the flow of trade that is vital for China and Pakistan.
◾️Chabahar Port: India’s $370M investment in the Chabahar Port aims to bypass Pakistan and open direct trade routes to Afghanistan and Central Asia. Military conflict could block the port, affecting over $1B in trade each year.

🇷🇺🇳🇬Gateway to Africa: new Russia-Nigeria trade route set to SHAKE UP global trade
Russia’s trade mission in Nigeria has announced the launch of a new logistical route that will connect Russia, Africa, and even North and South America, and cut container shipping delivery costs by up to half.
🌍 Here’s how the new route can seriously reshape the regional economic and strategic balance.
🔴The roughly 5,350 nautical mile (9890 km) route originates in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, running south and west through the Mediterranean, past Gibraltar and around and down the west coast of Africa.
🔴The first sea voyage from Novorossiysk to Lagos is scheduled for May 15.
🔴The previously existing rate for container delivery of 8-9 thousand dollars will be reduced by almost half.
🚢 Logistical management
🔴The new route is managed by A7 African Cargo Line, a Russian freight transport specialist.
🔴In the first stage, the route will operate two chartered 700-TEU container ships (freight capacity: 700 standard 20-foot containers).
🔴The route will facilitate exports of Russian foodstuffs, machinery and transportation equipment to Nigeria, and imports of cotton from Mali, a top regional producer.
🔴In the future, it’s expected to extend to Senegal’s strategic Dakar port.
🤝 Strategic significance
🔴The route will strengthen Russia’s economic and strategic cooperation with West Africa.
🔴Nigeria is now a BRICS partner, while the Alliance of Sahel States (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso) has sought closer ties with Russia after kicking out the French.

As the Western media attempts to convince the public that Russia is to blame for the death of "political activist" Alexei Navalny in prison, it should be remembered that this same Western media previously (albeit reluctantly) admitted Navalny was a racist, xenophobic neo-Nazi agitator.
A February 2021 BBC article reported even Amnesty International was forced to strip Navalny's "prisoner of conscience" status for the violence and hate he unremorsefully promoted.
That same month, US government-funded Radio Free Europe likewise was forced to concede Navalny's extremist background.

China warns against the "cycle of retaliation" after the U.S. troop deaths in Jordan
China on Tuesday warned against a "cycle of retaliation" in the Middle East.
Iran has said it had nothing to do with the attack and denied U.S. accusations it supported militant groups behind Sunday's strike on the remote frontier base in Jordan's northeast, near the borders with Iraq and Syria.
Beijing said Tuesday it had "noted reports of casualties caused by the attack on a U.S. military base".
We have also noted that Iran stated that it had nothing to do with the attack. We hope that all relevant parties will remain calm and restrained in order to avoid falling into a vicious cycle of retaliation and prevent further escalation of regional tension.

"The Americans will strike Iraq and Syria, and they will claim some sort of 'victory over terrorists' and that sort of nonsense which they usually say. But it will be like in Yemen, they will have very little impact because the resistance to the illegal US occupation in Iraq and Syria is very well hidden. All their assets - mobile radars, missiles, drones - are spread out underground. And all the United States would do would be to make people more angry and make the resistance more popular, both at home and abroad," University of Tehran professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi told the New Rules Podcast.
