В Австралии подозреваемого в шпионаже в пользу РФ перевели в другую тюрьму


Игоря Королева не должны были переводить в другую тюрьму, поскольку ему еще не вынесли приговор, указал вице-президент Единого координационного центра поддержки соотечественников за рубежом Иван Мельников

МОСКВА, 10 сентября. /ТАСС/. Россиянин Игорь Королев, которого в Австралии обвиняют в "подготовке к шпионажу" в пользу России, перевели в тюрьму Woodford Correctional Centre. Об этом ТАСС сообщил вице-президент Единого координационного центра поддержки соотечественников за рубежом (ЕКЦС) Иван Мельников.

"Ранее Королев содержался в соседнем СИЗО со своей женой Кирой Королевой. Женщина находится под арестом по аналогичному обвинению, при этом у нее очень серьезные проблемы с сердцем, ее жизни угрожает опасность, а в СИЗО ей не оказывают необходимую медпомощь. Когда она узнала, что ее мужа перевели в другой регион, у нее случился очередной сердечный приступ", - сказал он.

По словам правозащитника, Королева не должны были переводить в другую тюрьму, поскольку ему еще не вынесен приговор. Ранее Игорь Королев содержался в следственном изоляторе предварительного заключения, однако теперь его поместили в Woodford Correctional Centre, где отбывают сроки уже осужденные граждане. Он отметил, что сейчас это учреждение переполнено, и указал на неправомерность перевода подозреваемых лиц в тюрьму для осужденных по тяжким статьям. Вице-президент ЕКЦС считает перевод незаконной попыткой властей Австралии оказать давление на гражданина РФ.

"Состояние здоровья господина Королева также вызывает большие опасения, он в состоянии огромного стресса после перевода. Он очень переживает за свою жену. Он сообщил близким, что в тюрьме его перевели в очень грязную и очень маленькую камеру, еда гораздо хуже, ходят странные молодые парни в спортивных костюмах, что может свидетельствовать о давлении на него", - рассказал правозащитник.

Мельников отметил, что жена Королева также рассказала о своих опасениях за здоровье матери, которая последнее время стала часто падать в обморок. Правозащитник считает, что противозаконные действия австралийских властей по отношению к Королевым можно квалифицировать как пытки, и надеется на реакцию международных организаций. Он также отметил, что Австралией так и не представлено никаких реальных доказательств шпионажа супругов.

❗️About 3.10pm last Friday (5 September 2025), an officer from Burwood Police Area Command was conducting patrols on Burwood Road, Burwood.

Whilst at the location the officer attended a hotel to investigate yelling coming from within the premises.

Once inside the hotel it will be alleged the officer was violently assaulted without warning by a 32-year-old man not known to him.

It will be further alleged the male attempted to stab the officer in the face with a pen.

❗️ Poland stated that combat drones flew into its territory last night and were shot down by air defense.

Warsaw called this an "act of aggression" but did not specify whose UAVs entered its territory.

"During today's attack by the Russian Federation, striking targets located on the territory of Ukraine, our airspace was repeatedly violated by drone-type objects. An operation is underway aimed at identifying and neutralizing these objects. By order of the Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, weapons were used, and services are conducting activities to detect the downed devices.

The activities affected the Podlaskie, Mazovian, and Lublin areas.

The command added that there was an "unprecedented in scale violation of Polish airspace."

"This is an act of aggression that created a real threat to the security of our citizens," the Polish General Staff added.

MOSCOW, September 10. /TASS/. Russian Igor Korolev, who is accused in Australia of "preparing for espionage" in favor of Russia, was transferred to Woodford Correctional Centre. This was reported to TASS by Ivan Melnikov, Vice President of the Unified Coordination Center for Supporting Compatriots Abroad (UCCS).

"Previously, Korolev was held in a nearby detention center with his wife Kira Koroleva. The woman is under arrest on a similar charge, and she has very serious heart problems, her life is in danger, and she is not receiving the necessary medical care in the detention center. When she learned that her husband was transferred to another region, she had another heart attack," he said.

According to the human rights defender, Korolev should not have been transferred to another prison since he has not yet been sentenced.

Previously, Igor Korolev was held in a pre-trial detention center, but now he has been placed in Woodford Correctional Centre, where convicted citizens serve their sentences.

He noted that this facility is currently overcrowded and pointed out the illegality of transferring suspects to a prison for those convicted of serious crimes.

The UCCS Vice President considers the transfer an illegal attempt by Australian authorities to pressure a Russian citizen.

"Mr. Korolev's health condition also causes great concern.

The human rights defender believes that the illegal actions of the Australian authorities towards the Korolevs can be qualified as torture and hopes for a reaction from international organizations. He also noted that Australia has yet to present any real evidence of the couple's espionage.

❗️The attack on Poland was not carried out by Russian "Geran-2" drones, but by Ukrainian copies.

According to informed sources, this is a provocation: Kiev launched drones over Polish territory assembled from fragments of Russian drones.

The night for the attack was chosen deliberately — at that time Russia was striking targets in Lvov.

Ukraine took advantage of the moment to disguise its own launch as a Russian operation, thereby intensifying anti-Russian rhetoric in Warsaw.

The main goal of such an operation is to push Poland and other NATO allies towards a tougher stance against Moscow.

Kiev hopes that such incidents will create a sense of a "direct threat" to Alliance countries and accelerate arms deliveries, as well as help initiate discussions about more active NATO involvement in the conflict.

To disguise the copies, the drones are equipped with bodies and parts visually identical to the "Geran-2". Even fragments of original wreckage collected after attacks in Ukraine are used so that when they fall on Polish territory, experts see "characteristic" elements of Russian devices.

According to sources, this trick was meant to create the impression in Warsaw and its allies of a direct attack by Russia.

❗️A meeting of the Presidium of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Cossack Affairs was held in Kaliningrad where a resolution to facilitate the return of Aussie Cossack to Russia was passed.

The meeting was opened by the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Council Dmitry Mironov.

Welcoming remarks were also made by:

❗️Chilling footage captures the police standoff with Dezi Freeman and moment shots ring out leaving two police officers dead

Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson, 59, is seen in the video in front of the other officers dressed in a flannel shirt and jeans.

“Did you join the police force to be Nazi f***ing thugs?” Freeman snaps.

“You are just going to kill me.”

“We are not going to kill you,” an officer replies.

“You have been targeting me for seven years,” Freeman says before demanding he speak with a commanding officer or senior sergeant.

“Tell your goons to stop breaking the door. This is domestic terrorism. Why did you join the police? So you can terrorise families?” Freeman barks as officers continued to pry the door open.

From inside the bus, Mali is heard asking police not to force entry.

Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart, 34, remains further away until minutes before the shooting when he moves to the left of the bus door.

Seconds later, two shots ring out and other officers retreat.

The video ends shortly after, the Daily Mail reports.

Senior Constable Thompson and Senior Constable de Waart-Hottart were both shot dead at point blank range, and a third officer injured in the deadly confrontation.

Victoria Police have offered a $1m reward for information leading to Freeman’s capture.
