NASA successfully deploys complex sunshield on James Webb Space Telescope
NASA’s next-generation James Webb Space Telescope has successfully deployed its sunshield — a critical feature the observatory will use to keep its instruments extra cold during the course of its mission. The unfurling of the sunshield marks the end of perhaps the most complicated deployment the observatory must pull off in order to properly function while in space.

Explanation: In close binary systems containing black holes, X-rays are created. In these systems, the more massive and compact stellar remnant strips material from its companion star to form a disk of extremely hot X-ray-emitting gas as it spirals inward.

What a fact!
How far is Pluto? 🧐
The distance between Jupiter and Pluto is 35 times the distance between the earth and the sun.
The distance between
Uranus and Pluto is 20 times the distance between Earth and the Sun.
The distance between Neptune and Pluto is 10 times the distance between Earth and the Sun.

Following the discovery of the planet Neptune in 1846, there was considerable speculation that another planet might exist beyond its orbit. The search began in the mid-19th century and continued at the start of the 20th with Percival Lowell's quest for Planet X. Lowell proposed the Planet X hypothesis to explain apparent discrepancies in the orbits of the giant planets, particularly Uranus and Neptune, speculating that the gravity of a large unseen ninth planet could have perturbed Uranus enough to account for the irregularities.

DAY AFTER TOMMOROW A QUESTION ON THISREAD CAREFULLY
China complains to UN after maneuvering its space station away from SpaceX Starlink satellites
The country claims it had two close calls
China filed a complaint this month with the United Nations, arguing that it had to conduct evasive maneuvers of its space station to avoid potential collisions with two of SpaceX’s internet-beaming Starlink satellites. The country is requesting that the UN’s Secretary General remind countries of their obligations under international space law, though China did not specify exactly what actions it wants to be taken.
In reality it's a grade 9th question

Spot the stellar snowflakes on the cosmic Christmas tree
About 2,500 light-years from Earth, stars are being born in a region of space known as the Christmas Tree Cluster. Seen in the infrared (just beyond the range of visible light) by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope, these infant stars (less than 100,000 years old) appear as pink and red specks near the center of this photo, evenly-spaced in a spoke-like pattern that gives them the name of the Snowflake Cluster.

Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger German: 12 August 1887 – 4 January 1961), sometimes written as Erwin Schrodinger or Erwin Schroedinger, was a Nobel Prize-winning Austrian-Irish physicist who developed a number of fundamental results in quantum theory: the Schrödinger equation provides a way to calculate the wave function of a system and how it changes dynamically in time.
