📕Two friends were walking through the desert. During the journey they had an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
📕دو دوست از بیابانی می‌گذشتند. در طول سفر بحثی بینشان در گرفت و یکی از آن‌ها به صورت دیگری سیلی زد.
📗The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything wrote on the sand: "today my best friend slapped me in the face."
📗آن یکی که سیلی خورده بود آسیب دید اما بدون آن که چیزی بگوید روی شن‌ها نوشت: امروز بهترین دوستم به صورتم سیلی زد.
📕They kept on walking until they found an oasis where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped was drowning but his friend saved him.
📕آن‌ها رفتند تا به یک آبادی رسیدند. در آنجا تصمیم گرفتند حمام کنند. آن کسی که سیلی خورده بود نزدیک بود غرق شود اما دوستش او را نجات داد.
📗After being saved from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "today my best friend saved my life".

📕The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him: "After I hurt you, you wrote on the sand and now, you write on a stone. Why?"

📕His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to eke out a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.
📕فلمینگ، کشاورزی فقیر و اهل اسکاتلند بود. روزی در حال تلاش برای امرار معاش، از باتلاقی در آن نزديكی صدای درخواست كمک شنید. وسايلش را روی زمين انداخت و به سمت باتلاق دوید.
📗There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.
📗پسری وحشت زده در حالی که تا كمر در باتلاق فرو رفته بود فرياد می‌زد و تلاش می‌کرد تا خودش را آزاد كند. فلمينگِ کشاورز او را از مرگی تدریجی و وحشتناک نجات می‌دهد.
📙The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
📙روز بعد، كالسكه‌ای مجلل به منزل محقر فلمينگ رسید. مرد اشراف زاده خود را پدرِ پسری معرفی کرد كه فلمينگِ کشاورز نجاتش داده بود.
📘"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer.
📘اشراف زاده گفت: "می‌خواهم جبران كنم. شما جان پسرم را نجات دادید." کشاورز اسکاتلندی در حالی که با دستش پیشنهاد مرد را رد می‌کرد، جواب داد: "نه، من نمی‌توانم برای كاری كه انجام دادم پولی بگيرم."
📕At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel. "Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal.

📙In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
📙پسر فلمينگِ کشاورز از دانشكده پزشكی سنت ماری در لندن فارغ التحصيل شد. همين طور ادامه داد تا در سراسر جهان به عنوان آقای الكساندر فلمينگ، كاشف پنسيلين، مشهور شد.
📘Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia. What saved him? Penicillin. The name of the nobleman: Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name: Sir Winston Churchill!
