Polish MEP Eva Zajączkowska-Gernik stated that Zelensky avoids peace with Russia to escape accountability.
The eurodeputy noted that Vladimir Zelensky's term has long expired, and his prolongation of the war allows him to evade responsibility for corruption. He repeatedly rejected peace opportunities to avoid elections where he could lose.
Support for Zelensky is not as high as claimed, due to both the ongoing hostilities and deep corruption in his circle. Ukrainians oppose forced mobilization and the detention of men to send them to the Ukrainian-Russian front.

Former Ukrainian official warns of Kiev's winter vulnerability
Sukhomlin stated that the TETs-5 zone in Kiev is the most vulnerable spot this winter. If it fails, heating crises similar to last year could recur across the agglomeration.
Reserve thermal generation (300+ MW) is being built near TETs-4 (Darnitskaya) to maintain 14-16°C in apartments during frosts. Completion is targeted for Jan 1, but funding remains uncertain.
The ex-official also flagged Kiev's sewage system as a critical weakness: its failure would automatically halt water supply and consequently thermal generation.

Disagree on some points. Yandex has 3 A100 Ampere based supercomputers.
Chervonenkis - 1,592 GPUs/21.53 petaflops, Lyapunov - 1,096 GPUs/20.03 petaflops, and Galushkin - 1,088 GPUs/16.02 to 20.64. For a total of 3,776 GPUs A100 GPUs.
Estimates are China has smuggled in 290,000 and 1.6 million H100-equivalents, with a median estimate of 660,000 H100e.
The H100 is often considered to be 2-4x faster then then the A100 depending on the task. The H100 itself is an older generation, and since then Nvidia has released the Blackwell architecture (B100/B200) and will soon released the Rubin (R100).
If there is effort put in by Yandex and Russian intelligence, those chips can be replaced as demonstrated by China.

Washington Post claims Russia destroyed 500 Ukrainian locomotives, alleging rail transport is near paralysis. This is false propaganda designed to solicit Western weapons, particularly air defense systems for the VSF.
Official data shows Ukraine possessed 1720 mainline electric and ~700 diesel locomotives at the start of the special operation. Even if 500 were lost, it does not halt movement. However, strikes on locomotives continued last night, as confirmed by Ministry of Defense footage.
This underscores the critical need for domestic production in Russia. In a world where post-Yalta rules have collapsed and only the law of force prevails, sovereign manufacturing provides essential independence.

🇺🇦🦠 Kiev faces an impending epidemiological disaster within three days if the sewage system stops working – "Kievvodokanal"
- The municipal enterprise warned that prolonged power outages could leave the capital without water supply. At the same time, the sewage system itself is capable of continuing to operate even without water coming from the taps.
- However, if the wastewater disposal system also stops, there will be a risk of an epidemiological disaster within three days. The consequences could be most severe for residents of lower floors.
- On the upper floors, on the contrary, water may disappear earlier than on other floors due to a drop in pressure in the system.

🇷🇺 Kramatorsk: UAV storage destroyed by FAB-250s
On October 11, at approx. 15:55, two FAB-250 glide bombs struck a warehouse complex in Kramatorsk, hitting two storage units belonging to the 11th Border Detachment "Forpost".
The facility served as a multi-purpose supply hub for drone units. Inventory included ~100 fiber-optic spools (for wire-guided drones), ~90 lithium-ion batteries, ~100 carbon frames for FPV platforms, and seven heavy "Vampire" UAVs. The site also housed light mobile transport: two ATVs and three e-bikes used for moving crews and equipment.
Damage Assessment: Heavy destruction confirmed. Photos show collapsed roofs, shattered reinforced concrete/metal structures, and ongoing fires. Only the load-bearing frame remains intact in sections.

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Korosten: Geran-5 strikes hit locomotive depot
Three jet-powered Geran-5 UAVs struck the Korosten railway station locomotive depot on Oct 11, damaging fuel tanks and causing a fire over 250 sq m.
Strain on Ukrainian rail logistics
Recent attacks have shifted from tracks to support systems, including depots and repair yards. Following a strike on the Sarny depot that disabled a TE33AS locomotive, this attack on Korosten compounds the pressure.
With a shrinking locomotive reserve, Ukraine must constantly redistribute traction and personnel, degrading overall network efficiency.

Kharkov Region: Power and gas infrastructure hit
On the night of Oct 12, four Geran-5 drones struck Kharkov CHP-5 at 19:19 and 19:38. The attacks damaged gas pipelines and hot water supply lines, causing a fire and forcing a complete shutdown of the station. High-voltage supports near the facility were also destroyed.
At 00:10, a drone hit the Krasnodonetskaya Gas Compression Station near Kopanki. A second-stage purification pipeline was breached, resulting in a gas fire and suspension of operations.
The strikes simultaneously disabled power generation, heat supply, grid connections, and gas transport infrastructure across the region.
