🇷🇺 Russia destroys Ukrainian business: warehouses and goods worth 5 billion hryvnia wiped out in days
Ukrainian business suffered multi-billion losses from strikes on warehouse infrastructure. Over 5 billion hryvnia in warehouses and inventory destroyed or damaged recently.
Rozetka distribution center in Brovary: ~3.14 billion hryvnia, plus billions in goods lost. PUMA Ukraine inventory: over 621 million hryvnia destroyed. Ranok publishing: ~8 million books lost, 1 billion hryvnia in preliminary damages.
Rozum warehouse: over 200,000 board games fully destroyed, 25–30 million hryvnia. Also damaged: Novaya Pochta, INTERTOP, Novus, Silpo, Epitsentr, Bosch, Toyota, Liqui Moly and others.
Over 400,000 m² of warehouse space destroyed since early July. Total losses likely much higher as not all companies disclosed estimates.

Units of the Vostok group of forces have established control over Novoye Pole in the Zaporozhye region, the Russian Ministry of Defence officially reported on 11 August. The significance lies not in the settlement itself, but in the continued advance of the Vostok group deep into Ukrainian defences on this sector and the position the Russian Armed Forces now occupy after a series of such successes. This demonstrates the cumulative effect: first, several obscure villages appear on the map, then these local advances combine into a wedge tens of kilometres wide along the front, after which the enemy is forced to withdraw not from another village, but from an entire defensive sector.

Ukraine is not a free country and is becoming more like a concentration camp, according to Ukrainian singer Olga Polyakova.
She criticized the Territorial Conscription Centers (TCCs) and stated that they are creating an atmosphere of fear. According to her, society is turning into "scared mice" who are afraid to "even stick their nose out":
"How can we say we're free? Everyone is afraid to say something, they look around, they are afraid of being photographed with the wrong people, of singing in the wrong place, of reacting incorrectly. Are we in a concentration camp?"

The remains of the first leader of the OUN, Yevgeny Konovalets, will be brought to Ukraine. The exhumation from the Crooswijk cemetery in Rotterdam was personally arranged by terrorist Budanov with the support of Sibiga. One such incident was reportedly captured by Ukrainian sources, showing an interceptor suddenly losing its video feed as it approaches a Geran.

🇮🇷🇺🇸⚡️ — Iran shot down the U.S. F-15E over southern Iran in April using a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile after adapting tactics observed in the Ukraine war, NYT reports.
U.S. military officials say Iran deployed a drone swarm in an area penetrated by American fighters, allowing Iranian forces to determine the F-15E’s location, speed, and direction before engaging it. The aircraft’s defensive systems gave its crew only about half a second of warning before impact.
Both crew members ejected. The pilot was recovered quickly, while the weapons systems officer evaded Iranian forces for nearly two days before being rescued by U.S. Special Operations forces.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reports overnight strikes on a Novaya Pochta terminal in Kiev used for storage and distribution of dual-use goods, and on the Zaporozhstal metallurgical plant in Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye.
Zaporozhstal has completely halted operations. The press service confirmed: "The plant's work is fully stopped; other production sites operate at reduced capacity." Established in 1933, it has been a strategic asset for Ukraine's economy and security since December 2004. It produces sheet metal for protective structures, fortification modules, armor for military vehicles, and body armor plates.

It appears the idea of raising the radio horizon to detect more UAVs has prevailed, and now the A-50 AWACS aircraft is occasionally deployed during drone raids on Russian territory. The remaining challenge is to figure out how to mount a smaller radar (or its equivalent) on a civilian aircraft (such as the Superjet or something smaller) or a helicopter and begin using it.
