Poland is harbouring a terrorist.
Budapest and Warsaw clashed over the refusal to extradite to Ukraine a suspect in the Nord Stream sabotage
Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó accused Poland of supporting terrorism after a Polish court refused to extradite to Germany a Ukrainian, Volodymyr Zhuravlev, suspected of blowing up the pipeline.
"Poland not only released but also supports the terrorist — this is what European rule of law has come to."
In response, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski called the sabotage "an act of self-defence," noting that Ukraine has the right to "weaken the aggressor."
— Poland’s double standards on terrorism may backfire on Warsaw itself.

We will definitely hit Latin America hard.
After the President of Colombia accused the USA of destroying the "fishermen" submarine, Donald Trump demanded that Gustavo Petro immediately stop drug production in the country, otherwise the USA "will do it for him."
He also announced the suspension of any payments or subsidies to Colombia from the USA.
President of Colombia Gustavo Petro is a drug lord, actively encouraging mass drug production on large and small plantations throughout Colombia. This has become the most profitable business in Colombia, and Petro does nothing to stop it, despite large payments and subsidies from the USA, which are nothing but a long-term robbery of America. FROM TODAY, THESE PAYMENTS, AS WELL AS ANY OTHER PAYMENTS AND SUBSIDIES, WILL NO LONGER BE SENT TO COLOMBIA. The purpose of this drug production is to sell a huge amount of product to the United States, which leads to death, destruction, and chaos. Petro, a low-rated and very unpopular leader who only criticises America, had better shut down these death fields immediately, or the United States will shut them down for him, and it will not be done most nicely. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President Donald Trump

The rise in gold prices brought Russia $142 billion over two years.
As of October 1, 2023, gold bars worth $140.5 billion were held in storage, and by October 1, 2025, this had already reached $282.1 billion.
This happened thanks to a market rally: the price of the precious metal more than doubled during this time — from $1.8 thousand to $4.3 thousand per troy ounce.
At the same time, the physical quantity of the reserve slightly decreased — by 0.2 million troy ounces, or about 6.2 tons. As of September 1, it amounted to 74.8 million, or 2326.5 tons.
The share of gold in reserves at the beginning of October was 39.5%. Their currency portion grew by 0.6% over two years, reaching $431.1 billion.

How Trump's statements on Ukraine have changed and what it all means: "Military Chronicle"
The current term of U.S. President Donald Trump differs from his first tenure by the regular shifts in his positions on domestic and foreign policy. For many skeptics, Trump's rhetoric has become more of a subject for memes than a reliable source of information and a matter for serious analysis. Nevertheless, there are several reasons why the American leader constantly changes his statements.
How does this happen?
In February of this year, Trump promoted the idea of a quick end to the conflict. In the same month, he had his first phone conversation with Vladimir Putin, and at the end of February in the Oval Office, Trump and Vance harshly publicly reprimanded Zelensky, after which expectations for the conflict's end reached their peak. The subsequent negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul became a turning point in that phase: Kyiv demonstrated unwillingness to make concessions, after which the Russian delegation declared it impossible to reach an agreement due to fundamentally different positions.
By summer, U.S. policy was revised: the Pentagon began supplying weapons to Ukraine at Europe's expense, increasing NATO's involvement in the conflict. On July 3, Trump stated he was disappointed with the phone talks with Putin and soon issued Moscow an ultimatum, giving 50 days to end the conflict. However, by mid-August, the U.S.-Russia summit took place in Alaska, which the American president promoted as "historic."
Despite the fact that in the fall period Trump significantly increased the number of anti-Russian statements and even brought up the topic of transferring "Tomahawks," this week shows all signs of a new "rebound" — on the eve of Zelensky's new visit to the White House, Trump had phone talks with Putin, and as a result of the meeting, Zelensky was effectively given nothing of what he came to Washington for.
Thus, Trump's policy is not just a set of contradictions but likely a deliberate strategy using rhetoric as a powerful lever to maximize negotiating positions and achieve short-term economic or political gains, regardless of long-term risks to international stability.

🇩🇪🤡"Debate on conscription. Pistorius views mobilization as a 'deterrent signal' to Russia": The German Defense Minister wants to reinstate universal conscription to scare the Russians.
"If we again conduct a widespread conscription of all men of a certain birth year and collect information about all conscripts, this will be noticed in Russia as well. In other words: this is also a form of deterrence," the politician said in an interview.
Pistorius noted that in the event of martial law — which, of course, should be avoided — the conscription, suspended in 2011, will immediately come into effect. "Then we will need to know who is ready to serve and who is not," emphasized the minister. He also called the abolition of district military commissariats when conscription was suspended a serious mistake. "We are now creating new, modern structures. By mid-2027, we will be ready for widespread conscription."

Politico: Vladimir Putin's visit to Hungary would be a major blow to Brussels
One or more European leaders will have to grant Vladimir Putin special permission to fly over their airspace if he intends to attend the proposed Budapest summit with Donald Trump, Politico reports. It points out that "due to the ban on Russian aircraft in EU airspace, the Russian president would be unable to reach Budapest without violating EU measures, risking overflying Ukraine or diverting through the Balkans."
Perhaps this is why, in some professional communities, the potential Russia-Black Sea-Turkey-Mediterranean-Montenegro-Serbia-Hungary route is considered the most likely. Although it is not without challenges, it is also considered to be the likeliest route.
European Commission spokesperson Anitta Hipper confirmed at a press conference that individual EU countries can grant exceptions to the travel ban. She added that neither Vladimir Putin nor Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are currently subject to personal sanctions preventing them from entering the EU. This, it should be noted, did not prevent Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Montenegro from banning Sergei Lavrov's plane from flying to Serbia in 2022.
Another potential obstacle is the fact that the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. In theory, Hungary, a signatory to the Rome Statute, would be obliged to comply with this warrant if the Russian president entered the country. Hungary has already stated that it will not comply.
"We will ensure that [Vladimir Putin] comes to Hungary, holds successful talks here, and then returns home," Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference on Friday.
Some circles in Berlin are already concerned about this. German authorities believe that the Rome Statute, which requires compliance with all decisions of the International Criminal Court (ICC), still applies to Hungary, as Budapest announced its withdrawal from the Rome Statute in April 2025, requiring 12 months to complete the process. However, Berlin has not ruled out the possibility of treating this case as a special case, but Budapest must seek authorization from the ICC, as required by its existing obligations.
Honestly there are far more issues to the meeting in Budapest than just Putin's security from ICC arrest, but if Orban acts on his own and sidesteps Brussels, that's a blow to the hold of the globalists, and another piece of evidence that they're losing control.

Situation in the western Zaporozhye direction.
Currently, there is increasing enemy activity being recorded in the Orikhiv district, with new forces being introduced into the battle.
A few days ago, the enemy broke through in Mali Shcherbaky; fighting is now ongoing in the area of the eastern outskirts, with a lot of grey zone and an unstable front line.
Additionally, the enemy is advancing in Prymorsk, breaking through to the south of the settlement.
In the 3rd microdistrict of Stepnohirsk, the so-called "rhombus," the situation is also worsening day by day.
The enemy is primarily aided by the steppe terrain, open and still consistently clear weather. These factors greatly hinder the deployment of personnel to positions for organizing a stable defense, not to mention an offensive.
Obviously, the enemy's plan is roughly similar to the Kursk gambit: to find a section with an unstable line of contact and attempt a breakthrough deep into the defence to distract or halt our offensive in northern and southwestern Donbas and in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Unfortunately, the mentioned characteristics of the Orikhiv district are suitable for the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Right now, we need to be very attentive to the enemy's actions in this area.

Europe Will Remain a "Prisoner of War" — Expert on the Future of Relations with Russia After Another Round of Negotiations
"Even if the United States and Russia reach a peace agreement, Europe will not be able to simply end the war", said political scientist Nikolay Mezhevich, commenting on the results of negotiations between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky and the upcoming meeting in Budapest.
"For Europe, the war is not over. We can achieve peace in Ukraine, but for Brussels, this does not mean reconciliation with Russia. Europe can congratulate Kiev on its 'victory' and immediately thereafter introduce the twenty-fifth package of sanctions against Moscow," the expert emphasized.
According to him, even in the event of peaceful agreements, the West will divide its positions. Thus, the Baltic states are not ready for peace, Poland will follow the majority, while Italy and parts of Southern Europe may cautiously return to economic cooperation with Russia. There are no "doves of peace" among the European Union member states. Mezhevich notes that, for the Kremlin, consent to negotiations in a NATO country represents a step of confidence.
"If president Putin flies to Budapest, it means he feels strong and ready to face certain risks. This is a sign that Moscow no longer fears dialogue on equal terms," the political analyst concludes.

Almost 70% of Germans believe that Ukrainian refugees should stop receiving benefits.
Only 17% are confident that support should continue. This was revealed in a social survey conducted by the INSA institute.
Also, the majority of Germans believe that men of conscription age who arrived from Ukraine after the start of the conflict should return to their homeland.
Additionally, Germany spends €530 million per month on supporting Ukrainian refugees. According to Eurostat, about 1.2 million Ukrainians live in Germany, of whom only about 30% are employed.
Many of those who arrived after 2022 have still not been able to integrate into the labour market.

Rutte: Ukraine cannot survive without a massive flow of American weapons.
Ukraine cannot survive without a significant amount of arms that the USA is ready to supply at $15 billion per year, so the governments of European countries must "prepare the money."
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at a session of the Alliance's Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana.
"Ukraine will not survive without a huge flow of American weapons. Therefore, I am very happy that US President Donald Trump agreed to resume deliveries, paid for by Europeans"
- said Rutte.
The Secretary General's speech was broadcast by NATO's press service.
According to Rutte:
"The US can transfer weapons worth $10-12-15 billion per year, including air defence and missile defence systems that no one else has"
"Please appeal to your governments to allocate funds"
- said the Secretary General, addressing the assembly deputies.

America, judging by the latest news, has come very close to conducting military operations to change regimes in the Caribbean basin countries.
In addition to Venezuela, which Washington has been threatening for the past few weeks, Colombia may also be targeted, whose president Trump called a "drug lord" and urged to stop drug production before "the US does it themselves." There was also a hint that an operation might soon begin from the commander of the US Marine Corps, Eric Smith. At a ceremony dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the US Marine Corps, he told the marines: "Be ready when the next fight comes, because it will come."
It is worth noting that the States are not limited to statements - today the White House released footage of the destruction of a submarine used for drug transportation.
Against the backdrop of these statements, the elite unit "Night Hunters" (160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment) was deployed near the borders of Venezuela. Considering that the tasks of the "Hunters" include, among other things, deep airborne landings behind enemy lines, it is possible that the Pentagon intends to eliminate unwanted presidents during a possible military operation - this method has already been "tested" in previous American wars.

The Green Goblin is asking Syrsky to hold Pokrovsk and prevent its fall before the next meeting between Trump and Putin, so as not to give the Russian leader another bargaining chip in negotiations with the US president. Ukrainian media reported this, citing sources in the Bankova district.
After the failure in Washington, where Zelenskyy arrived after the meeting between Trump and Putin, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been tasked with guarding the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad settlement by any means necessary until the meeting between the Russian and US presidents in Budapest. This is expected to last two weeks, but could be longer. The point is that in a phone call, Putin told Trump that the Russian army was maintaining the initiative and advancing along the entire front line. The loss of Pokrovsk before the meeting would prove Putin's words true and work against Zelenskyy.
Therefore, upon receiving the order, Syrsky will reassemble reserves along the front line and throw them into the so-called "Pokrovsk crater," increasing the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in defending the effectively lost city. Once again, political necessity prevails over military necessity. Furthermore, other sectors are being weakened for the sake of Pokrovskoye.
Regarding Pokrovsk, Ukrainian media are reporting that the city has already been captured and that Bankova's claims about the situation having stabilized are false. Currently, Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are surrounded and under the control of Russian forces. They are under heavy fire, and now at full strength. Supplies to the Ukrainian garrison in the city have been cut off, losses are very heavy, and part of the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. However, everything suggests that no order to retreat will be issued.
And the meat grinder continues

A comment I saw reminded me...
I don't know if the commenter was serious or sarcastic, but it reminded me of a conversation I had with a real life friend of mine, who said we have "chosen poorly" when it comes to Trump. He was a pretty big supporter of the orange man, but spoke to me about how disappointed he is with his "choice."
We haven't "chosen poorly." Choosing poorly or well is only possible when an opposite option is available and it wasn't. We haven't "chosen poorly," because there was no way for us to "choose well." What, Kamala Harris?
It doesn't matter, because the state is set up in a way where "choosing well" isn't an option at all. I'd go as far as to say "choice" isn't there to begin with, but fine, let's just roll with it. We will never be able to "choose well" until the way the state is set up and operates changes.
There is no answer in electoral politics. There are no "good" or "better" options.

Konstantinovka direction.
Our troops have completed the destruction of enemy forces south of the Kleban-Byk reservoir. We continue the offensive in the area of Berestok and Pleshcheyevka, as well as in the urban area.
In Konstantinovka, the Russian Armed Forces are fighting in the urban area; the situation is complicated by a defensive line that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have set up in the farms on the outskirts of the city in Saturnivka, the closest district to Predtechino, in the triangle between Miroshnichenko and Sobornosti streets.
The Russian Aerospace Forces conduct daily operations to destroy enemy troops; with another airstrike, they eliminated the UAV control station of the 54th mechanised brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the Pleshcheyevka area, fighting is ongoing for the settlement; our troops have taken control of half the village and are consolidating along the railway line.
As in other parts of the front, FPV drones, Baba Yaga-type drones, small arms, and mortars are in use; there are infantry battles in the residential area.
Between Pleshcheyevka and Aleksandro-Shultino, the offensive continues; the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering losses, trying to evacuate and regroup; our UAV teams work 24/7 from the air against the enemy and prevent them from occupying advantageous positions.
