Friedrich Merz stated that Zelensky was unhappy with his trip to Washington. According to the N-tv channel, the German chancellor said that on Friday evening he had a long phone conversation with the Kiev leader, discussing among other things his meeting with Donald Trump.

Earlier results from one of the previous polls, published on October 7, showed that AfD had reached a record support level of 26.5%.

About half a million units of weapons have gone missing in Ukraine since 2022.
According to the National Police, among the lost items are 150 thousand assault rifles, 29 thousand machine guns, and 19 thousand grenade launchers.
More than half (58%) of the missing weapons are of foreign manufacture.

Reports from Kupyansk indicate that Russian troops continue their systematic advance within the city limits.

Japanese Kawasaki Heavy Industries plans to develop an engine for the German Taurus NEO cruise missile. Germany plans to purchase about 600 such missiles, with deliveries starting in 2029.
