Active fighting for the city lasted about one and a half years, but the enemy still denies the complete loss of Chasov Yar and claims the presence of Ukrainian Armed Forces units on its outskirts.

Rodinskoye, a key stronghold along the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov supply line, has fallen without the presence of Russian infantry.
This may signal one of the first instances in the Ukrainian war where ground advantage/superiority has been achieved remotely, through the use of drone warfare, without deployment of manpower assets.

Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi in an interview with the Financial Times, said the U.S. must compensate Iran for damage from last month’s war with Israel before nuclear talks can resume.
He demanded an explanation for why the U.S. attacked mid-negotiations and insisted it “must guarantee” it won’t happen again.
“The road to negotiation is narrow,” Araghchi said, warning that anti-negotiation sentiment is surging inside Iran. While Iran remains committed to a peaceful program, he said, “we have the technology” to restart enrichment if needed: “Buildings can be rebuilt. Machines can be replaced.”
He reiterated that Iran won’t accept Trump’s demand for zero enrichment and warned that any EU snapback of sanctions would end talks with Europe: “That would be the end of the road.”
“We need real confidence-building measures,” he told the FT. “We don’t have a thing” if zero enrichment remains a precondition.

Continuation of the negotiation process in Istanbul. Mr. Chairman, it would seem that such a development, when Russia and Ukraine resumed the negotiation process in Turkey, should inspire all our international partners and be seen as the first step toward future agreements that would allow the Ukrainian crisis to be resolved.
However, despite the Istanbul meetings, the war party in the West has not gone anywhere. A party that is not satisfied with such a scenario in any way. Voices are still heard from those who perceive diplomacy solely as an excuse to criticize Russia and pressure it. A logic that does not fit the context of the Ukrainian crisis is being imposed, that the only criterion for Russia's readiness or unreadiness for peace is our agreement to an unconditional and prolonged ceasefire.
Why does it not fit? Because, as they say, we have already gone through the situation with the Minsk agreements I mentioned today. Especially since the Western sponsors of Ukraine do not even bother to hide that any pause on the battlefield will be used to rearm Ukrainian units, rotate personnel, and prepare the Armed Forces of Ukraine to resume hostilities against Russia.
