Today in Severodvinsk, the naval flag was raised on the new strategic nuclear-powered missile submarine "Knyaz Pozharsky" of project 955A.
This is already the 8th SSBN of project 955 "Borei" (and the 5th modification 955A), with 2 more currently under construction.
"Knyaz Pozharsky" became the 3rd "Borei" in the Northern Fleet, the other 5 are part of the Pacific Fleet. Its length is 170 meters, and its submerged displacement is 24,000 tons. It carries 16 R-30 "Bulava" intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The solemn ceremony was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Presidential Aide Alexey Dyumin, Presidential Aide Nikolay Patrushev, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Admiral Alexander Moiseyev, and Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky.

On 21.07.2025, a strike was carried out by the Iskander OTRK on a training camp near the city of Kamenets, Kirovohrad region. Local channels immediately raised a wave of messages about blood donation recruitment, and convoys of ambulances rushing to the impact site were also noticed, while a mourning period was declared in the region. At the same time, the official Ukrainian sources did not comment on the situation in any way and pretended not to have heard anything about it. Today, the first casualty from the strike surfaced - a 21-year-old Italian named Artiom Naliato. It also became known that the strike hit a GUR training camp where foreigners from the "International Legion" were undergoing training, and the number of injured exceeded a hundred.
It is unlikely that the Italian was the only victim of the strike; the Ukrainians, as usual, are trying by all means to hide the real number of 200s. There is already information about at least 6 dead.

Zelensky signed a law limiting the powers of the NABU, despite calls from Macron and the head of the European Council, Kosta, not to do so.
According to the Financial Times, on Tuesday evening Kosta and Macron "called him in a last desperate attempt to dissuade him." But, as is known, the law was signed.
Also on Tuesday, G7 ambassadors in Kiev at a meeting with the heads of the SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office "called for reconsideration," while Malyuk and Kravchenko in turn "tried to dispel the West's concerns."
"The ambassadors were locked in a room without phones for more than two hours, which one diplomat described as an attempt to 'silence them' and prevent them from informing their governments about rapidly developing events in Kiev” the article says.

- Bill 13533, presented by Zelensky as urgent, restores all procedural powers and guarantees the independence of NABU and SAP, reports the anti-corruption bureau.
- The bill submitted by Zelensky states that the Prosecutor General and his deputies have no right to give instructions to SAP prosecutors.
- It also says that SAP employees report only to the head of SAP and his deputies.
- According to the bill, the Prosecutor General is prohibited from giving instructions to NABU detectives.

It could take three to eight years for the U.S. to replenish its stockpile of high-altitude missile interceptors after the military launched nearly 14% of its arsenal during last month’s conflict with Iran, according to a new report. The analysis, conducted by researchers at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America, found that interceptors fired by the US’ THAAD systems accounted for nearly half of all interceptors used to protect Israel from Iran’s medium-range ballistic missiles during the 12-day bombardment.
While the THAADs — along with Israel’s Arrow-2 and Arrow-3 interceptors — successfully destroyed 201 of Iran’s 574 missiles, the rapid depletion raises concerns about capabilities in future conflicts”

The Russian army has begun the assault on Stepnogorsk!
