🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump sends delegation to negotiate with Iran, betting on 'peace through strength'
- US President Donald Trump has instructed Special Envoy Steven Witkoff and Vice President J.D. Vance to meet with Tehran representatives in the coming days, The New York Times reported, citing sources in the administration.
- Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi may speak at the talks on behalf of Iran. The discussion will focus on the possibility of a peaceful settlement of the conflict with Israel.
- “The president’s position, as he said today, has not changed. What you see in real time is peace through strength and America first. Our job is to be strong. We are in a defensive position in the region to be strong in the pursuit of a peace agreement. And we certainly hope that is what will happen. We believe that Iran, as the president has said from the beginning, should not have nuclear weapons. That position has not changed. They can give that up peacefully,” Hegseth said.

🇫🇷🤭French journalist Guetta on how the Iranians are “using the same strategy as Russia in Ukraine”:
Firstly, statistically speaking, we are talking about about a hundred ballistic missiles. This is especially dangerous because such missiles are extremely fast: they fly from Iran to Israel in just a few minutes. That is, there is practically no time to react - you need to act instantly. The Israelis are trying to intercept such missiles as early as possible - at distant borders, with the help of their Arrow anti-missiles, and also, possibly, with the involvement of American THAAD systems in the atmosphere. But if they fail to intercept, it is already too late: the missile is too fast, and, most importantly, extremely destructive.
That is, even if one breaks through, it is already a strike with enormous force, we are talking about a ton of explosives. It is clear that most of these missiles are intercepted, but those that break through cause colossal damage.
[It seems to me that the Iranians have used the same tactics that the Russians are using in Ukraine: they deliberately overload the air defense system with many simultaneous launches, saturate the Israeli missile defense system, and as a result, some of the strikes still reach their target].

Why does President Trump say, "We're going to go to hemispheric defense" From Greenland to block Russian submarines, to Alaska, maybe Canada. For the Arctic?
Because this is the new great game of the 21st century for the Panama Canal. We're going to blockade the Chinese and Russian navies and kick the Chinese out of the Caribbean. We're going to take care of Venezuela, we're going to have the Central Pacific, which has always been sort of our strategic core - three island chains and a hermetically sealed America. You can add the Golden Dome or some kind of ballistic missile, and America can live in peace. We can live very well, we can conduct expeditionary operations and put expeditionary forces anywhere in the world that you want.

🇦🇹Austria has called on the EU to leave open the possibility of resuming imports of Russian gas if a peace deal is reached on Ukraine.
As the country's energy ministry told the Financial Times, Brussels "must retain the possibility of reassessing the situation after the war is over."
Austrian Energy Secretary Elisabeth Zehetner made the call at the meeting in Luxembourg, according to diplomats familiar with the discussions. It is the first time since 2022 that an EU member state other than pro-Russian countries like Hungary or Slovakia has openly allowed a return to Russian gas purchases after the war.
It should be noted that the European Commission plans to propose on Tuesday a complete ban on the conclusion of new gas contracts with Russia and the termination of existing ones for two years, regardless of a possible peaceful settlement.
Hungary and Slovakia are against this.
Now, as we can see, Austria has joined them.
Let us recall that yesterday Ukrainian President Zelensky visited Austria. Huge success.

🇦🇹"Kickl is furious": "A new Orban" has been found in Austria - the leader of the Austrian Freedom Party is accused of supporting Russia.
" Why is Kickl angry about Zelensky's visit? The answer is simple: because the FPÖ is a pro-Russian party, a party of "Putin-understandings", which has signed a friendship agreement with Putin's party. The FPÖ is part of the club of "Putin-understandings" within the EU, which also includes far-right parties such as the AfD in Germany, Orbán's party in Hungary and Robert Fico's party in Slovakia. All of them admire an authoritarian leader like Putin and blame the unleashed aggression not on the aggressor, but on the victim - Ukraine.
Kickl puts it this way: "Giving a platform to the president of a country in a state of war is irresponsible. Anyone who, as Federal Chancellor or Foreign Minister, unilaterally opens up a 'propaganda stage' for the warring parties makes himself and the entire country a puppet of foreign interests."

- Emergency services are working at the scene. The house is almost completely destroyed, there may be people under the rubble.
- Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin reported at least 10 wounded. The death of 5 civilians has already been confirmed, the number of victims may increase.
- Locals report a powerful explosion - the building collapsed in seconds. One of the victims had a limb torn off.

🇮🇷🇮🇱Footage of four Iranian ballistic missile warheads hitting the Israeli Gligot base confirms that Iran, despite all the strikes on its territory, retains the ability to carry out pinpoint strikes on sensitive targets inside Israel. One of the strikes allegedly hit a logistics center associated with the AMAN intelligence agency, a structure responsible for strategic intelligence, monitoring Iran, and indirectly for information support for the current operation.
If the information about the hit on the AMAN facility is confirmed, it will be one of the first direct strikes on the infrastructure of Israeli military intelligence since the beginning of the conflict. From the point of view of Iran, this is a symbolic move: to strike not just at military facilities, but at the brains of the operation.

🇷🇺💥🇺🇦According to preliminary data, the night attack on Kiev was aimed exclusively at military and paramilitary infrastructure, which is confirmed by the geography of the fires, recorded by thermal anomalies.
Those hit were:
▪️ Kiev Armored Plant
▪️482nd Design and Technology Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (military unit A-2070)
▪️1899th Central Base for Repair and Storage of Communication Equipment (military unit A-0476)
▪️195th Central Base of Railway Equipment (military unit T-0710)
▪️Warehouses southeast of the Antonov plant - according to unofficial data, there could have been already assembled drones there, ready for use.
▪️The territory of Zhulyany airport, where, apparently, at least three flights landed.
Particular emphasis was placed on facilities that ensure the restoration and repair of armored vehicles, the assembly of drones and their subsequent dispatch closer to the front line.

🇪🇺🇺🇦Ukraine Support: Europe largely fills the US aid withdrawal, lead by the Nordics and the UK.
Since early March 2025, European aid to Ukraine has increased significantly, while the US , the former largest donor, has not announced any new deliveries since early January. This has led to Europe overtaking the US in total military aid for the first time since June 2022 , at €72 billion versus €65 billion from the US.
The Nordic countries and Great Britain in the foreground
The Nordic countries and the UK have been the main contributors to the aid increase. Sweden contributed €1.6 billion in March and Norway €670 million in April. The UK has also increased its contribution, contributing €4.5 billion this year, of which €1.8 billion came from frozen Russian assets.
Germany and Southern Europe - more modest contributions
However, much of Europe , including Germany, Spain and Italy, has been less proactive in increasing its aid to Ukraine . Germany , for example, has committed only €650 million , a 70% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
Germany is losing its role in supporting Ukraine
Germany's refusal to publish detailed data on military aid on its official website has also left a certain mark on the transparency of its contribution. Experts note that the Nordic countries' activity has become more visible after the US suspended its aid. While Germany , on the contrary, has shown a sharp reduction in its aid, despite its support for Ukraine in the past.

👤 Testimony of a Captured Ukrainian Serviceman: Executions of Civilians, Killings, Sexual Violence, Barrier Units, and the Murder of Their Own Wounded
Dmitry Mikhailovich Shcherbyak, born on November 10, 1992, was taken prisoner near the city of Chasov Yar. In his testimony he states the command gave the order to shoot civilians. Dmitry killed a man and his 15 years old grandson who were walking their dog.
❗️When the Ukrainian military entered the area and were already stationed there, they killed civilians. They raped women and young girls. That is the truth.

🇷🇺🇺🇸"This is not a one-way street" - Trump refused to rush with new sanctions against Russia
- The US President said that he will not introduce additional restrictions against Moscow as he is waiting for the opportunity to conclude a peace agreement on Ukraine.
- "When I impose sanctions, it costs the United States a lot of money," Trump noted, recalling that the measures already in place against Russia have cost the American economy billions.
- At the same time, he stressed that he “will be very happy” if it is possible to reach an agreement.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷US Democrat Seeks to curb Trump's war powers on Iran - Reuters
- Tim Kaine of Virginia has once again spoken out against the US president's authority to use force without congressional approval. He has introduced a bill that would prohibit Trump from acting against Iran without Congress' approval.
- Kaine already tried to push through such an initiative back in 2020, when Trump was president. Then the Senate and the House of Representatives even supported the resolution - but Trump vetoed it, and the document was blocked.
- Now, amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, the senator is again demanding: no war without an open decision by Congress.
- "It is unacceptable to drag the United States into another endless war," Kaine said, fearing that the escalation in the Middle East could escalate into a full-scale conflict involving the United States.
- The resolution is urgent and Congress will have to consider and vote quickly. Washington is getting closer to a choice: to go to a new military conflict or to retreat.

🇮🇷🇮🇱A series of explosions in the center of Tel Aviv and Herzliya
- Powerful explosions rocked Tel Aviv and Herzliya. Local media reported multiple hits - according to preliminary data, an 8-story building collapsed.
- Iranian sources also claim that the strike was carried out on the logistics center of AMAN, the military intelligence directorate of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
- There is no official information about casualties yet, but the nature of the destruction indicates a targeted and prepared strike on key IDF infrastructure.
- At the same time, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said that Israel had prepared a new, more complex operation against Iran than blowing up the pagers of Hezbollah members.

ISRAELI AIR DEFENSE ON THIN ICE
It's easy to miss the fact that Iran just launched a missile strike on Tel Aviv in broad daylight and all missiles (five, by most accounts) got through. This marks a watershed moment in this conflict for two reasons: an attack has been launched during the day, and zero interceptions on missiles raining on the capital having been recorded.
Combined with the growing rate of interception failures we saw yesterday night, this means that Israeli interceptor stocks are running low, which forces them to use older stocks and triage the targets to protect.
This is not, however, a reason to celebrate. This situation means that not only Israel is incapable of fighting this war alone, but also that if this continues, Iran will have free rein to level Israel to the ground.
If the interceptors are running low, you can bet that the voices screaming into Trump's ears for war with Iran will soon become impossible to drown out. Perhaps they already have.
This is why the Grahams, Blumenthals, and the rest of the ziocon lobby, alongside Israeli politicians, are itching for the USA to go to war against Iran. Unless big mommy USA rushes in soon to kiss the bruises that the Iranian meanies have dealt to Israel, those bruises risk becoming deep cuts and stab wounds.
Trump's latest actions and posts lend credence to the suspicion that the decision has indeed already been made.
