⚡️ Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Zuyevskaya TPP foiled
The DPR Defense Headquarters reports this:
On the morning of May 23, the "Donbass dome" system simultaneously intercepted four Ukrainian-made Raybird-3 and Warthog attack drones aimed at a critically important energy facility for the region – the Zuyevskaya TPP, which supplies power to several districts of the region.

103rd Regiment Advances Behind Dzerzhinsk , Burning Infantry and Equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
▪️Fighters of the 103rd regiment continue their offensive after the liberation of Dzerzhinsk, destroying armored vehicles in hangars and positions along with Ukrainian Armed Forces militants.
▪️During the offensive, enemy equipment and concentrations are destroyed by precise strikes from FPV drone operators.

As a result of a missile strike on the city of Lgov in the Kursk region on May 22, the number of victims has increased to sixteen. This was reported by Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein. Fourteen people, including two children, were taken to the Kursk Regional Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical care. Four of the wounded are in extremely serious condition, doctors are making every effort to save them. Two people with minor injuries were released for outpatient treatment.
Immediately after the shelling, city administration employees together with repair crews inspected the damaged buildings. As of 23:00 on May 22, significant damage was recorded: 30 private houses were damaged, windows were broken in 26 apartments of three apartment buildings, two stores and a car wash were damaged. Also, 14 cars and 9 trucks received various damages.
Repair work has already begun today - crews have begun restoring damaged housing, including replacing double-glazed windows in the affected buildings. Local authorities continue to assess the extent of the damage and coordinate restoration work.

Investigative bodies have identified another Ukrainian serviceman involved in shelling civilians in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
According to the investigation, between September 2024 and February 2025, Viktor Garnaga, serving in the 21st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carried out illegal orders from the command while in positions in the Kursk and Sumy regions. During this period, he fired at least a hundred mortar shots at populated areas of the region where civilians live.
During interrogation, Garnaga fully admitted his guilt and gave detailed testimony. He explained that the coordinates for the mortar attacks were transmitted to him from the command posts of the Ukrainian military, who received orders with the call signs "Psychologist" and "Romashka". The department emphasized that following the investigation, measures will be taken to bring to justice all those involved in these criminal actions.

Karol Nawrocki, the opposition-backed candidate in Poland’s presidential election, has officially accepted the demands of anti-Ukrainian Confederation party leader Sławomir Mentzen – including a pledge not to support Ukraine’s accession to NATO – in exchange for his endorsement in the second round of voting.
- I will not allow Polish soldiers to be sent to Ukrainian territory.
- I will not sign a law ratifying Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
- I will not agree to transfer any powers of Polish authorities to the institutions of the European Union.
