Joyce , you’re not coping, you’re just in the visual vs logic phase 😄
HTML/CSS = what you see
Java/Python = how things think
It feels hard because your brain is switching from design to logic. Totally normal. Stick with small programs and it’ll click.
Well, you can drop your questions in forums or groups nobody is free or obliged for reply... just expect is all we can do

your idea of coding isn't so correct... coding is writing the instruction to make a program work as u wanted
or better: your idea of coding is correct for the languages which u use, but isn't so correct for the true programming languages
Meanwhile Java and Python just stare at me like "bro... what even is a variable" and I blank out completely.

I said that YT videos are not the best source just by my experience with them and other admins in other groups.
I forgot to say about books, they are really usefull more or less as the docs
When i was a beginner i watched some python videos but i learnt a lot more with a my friend that teached me the basics and reading simple projects. I've also received a python book for a my birthday but i never read it at all
actually idk why you call him arrogant he rarely go online but i don't remember him being arrogant if he is free and know the answer he will give directly same for Inchidi everyone tries to answer questions when he became free remember that answering your questions isn't thier job it's your task to search and find answers by yourself they just help you by answering your questions instead of making you search but that's a favor not a duty

I prefer downloading books from annas archive or else there are plenty on telegram
Tbh official documentation is hard for beginner if you're already not literate for it
The books for beginners work as a bridge
Books explain the concept of variables and types early.

HTML and CSS feel like "coding" to me because I can actually see the result instantly and it looks pretty.

u cannot compare python and java (high-level languages) to 2 "languages" that are not really languages as they doesn't execute codes
