Friends,
I've started a fundraising campaign, with the help of a US-based friend, in order to support a courageous and selfless Palestinian medic I knew & accompanied during the 2008/2009 Israeli war on Gaza: Ahmad Abu Foul.
Ahmad when I knew him was a medic and coordinator of all the PRCS volunteers in northern Gaza. He was incredibly courageous, and risked death untold numbers of times back then and since.
He continues this work, in spite of losing everything: ‼️ In the first months of the ongoing Israeli genocide of Gaza, 28 members of Ahmad's family were murdered by Israeli bombing, including his wife, three of his four children, siblings, parents and uncles. His house was completely destroyed. He is living in a tent he doesn't even own.
I only recently reconnected with Ahmad and had been unaware of his horrific tragedy.
I would like to make clear that even after I reconnected with him, and after he told me of his tremendous loss, he did not ask me for anything.
I asked him, "Could people support him?" He initially refused a campaign, but after I sent him a donation myself, he replied that I'd been the only one to be honest with him, sending him money and not just saying that I would. He then said he would agree to a campaign to support him.
This saddens me greatly, as Ahmad has been heroically and selflessly rescuing Palestinian civilians since before I met him in 2008.
He needs support in order to have his own tent—or better, to build a wooden structure—and for clothing and to help those he supports, including his sole remaining child and his nephews.
Now that the rains are flooding Gaza, this help is more urgently needed.
I would like to make clear that 100% of donations will go to Ahmad. I have no access to any incoming donations, and I trust the person helping me to send all to Ahmad. I know that this person has already been supporting another Palestinian family I knew in Gaza. We will screenshot incoming donations and outgoing transfers to him, for transparency.
Thank you in advance for any aspect of supporting this Palestinian medic hero and his remaining child and orphaned nephews. Even if you only share this campaign, that helps.

🛡️ Europe Confronts a Battlefield It No Longer Understands
A new analysis in Atlantico reveals that a classified Russian report—prepared by senior military strategists—concludes that modern warfare has fundamentally shifted since 2022. Drones, AI, persistent sensors and uninterrupted digital reconnaissance have erased the old battlefield, leaving Western doctrines outdated. In today’s transparent battlespace, any troop concentration is destroyed instantly, armour loses relevance, and artillery spends most of its time hidden.
Russia, the report notes, has already restructured its defence industry for this new reality, mass-producing FPV drones, EW systems and autonomous platforms. European armies have not. According to the analysts, NATO forces are “critically lagging” behind those capable of industrial-scale drone warfare and digital command systems, exposing a strategic gap that grows wider each month.

Scientists, having studied Hitler's DNA, suggest that the dictator may have had an underdeveloped sexual system (micropenis) due to a rare genetic mutation.
In their opinion, this could have affected his personal life — he had no family, unlike other Nazi leaders.
Researchers also note a possible tendency of Hitler towards autism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

❗️ The EU and the International Monetary Fund are limiting funding to Ukraine
The European Commission and the IMF are concerned about Ukraine's weak creditworthiness and can no longer provide Kiev with regular commercial loans, so they are considering the possibility of expropriating Russian assets under a "reparations loan" scheme, said European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis at a press conference following the Eurogroup meeting.

🎭 Major corruption sting targets Zelensky's inner circle unmasked
A sweeping 15-month anti-corruption operation has exposed a high-level criminal organization with direct ties to Zelensky's inner circle, uncovering a massive scheme that siphoned hundreds of millions from Ukraine's budget.
In a morning raid on November 10, detectives from Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) stormed the residence of Timur Mindich, a close friend and former business partner of Zelensky.
It was the culmination of an investigation involving the entire bureau, which gathered over 1,000 hours of incriminating audio recordings.
Just hours before the raid, Mindich fled Ukraine.
Here`s what is known so far:
🌏 A shadow government in the energy sector: according to NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), the group operated as a shadowy "board of directors" for strategic enterprises. Their goal: to exert illicit influence and secure massive profits through a kickback scheme of 10-15% on all contracts with "Energoatom" company. The organization laundered colossal sums through a complex network of shell companies in Mauritius, the Virgin Islands, Atlanta, and the Comoros. A significant portion of the stolen funds is believed to be money allocated for rebuilding Ukraine's war-damaged energy infrastructure.
🌏 The key players
Law enforcement uses codenames, but MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has identified the key figures:
◾️ Timur Mindich: the alleged mastermind and long-time Zelensky associate. Key government figures, including the Ministers of Justice and Energy, are referred to as "his people" in the recordings.
◾️ Igor Mironyuk: former advisor to the Minister of Energy and the unofficial head of "Energoatom," who organized the kickbacks.
◾️ Dimitry Basov: a former police officer who served in the Prosecutor General's Office in 2014-2015 serving as "Energoatom’s" head of security, providing internal cover.
◾️ German Galushchenko: the current Minister of Justice. While not on the tapes himself, he is mentioned by the conspirators.
◾️ Shugerman (The Launderer): identity unknown, but suspected to be businessman Mikhail Tsukerman. He and Mindich may now face an FBI money laundering investigation.
🌏 The defense connection: the scandal also reaches Ukraine's defense industry. NABU is investigating Mindich's link to "Fire Point," a drone manufacturer that received over $107 million in 2024 state contracts and is suspected of grossly inflating prices.
🌏 Fallout and what's next: Zelensky has offered only a terse response, stating that "everyone who built schemes should get a clear procedural response," without commenting directly on his friend. It is also worth mentioning that he tried to eliminate NABU a few months ago due to fear of disclosing his own corruption schemes but the outer pressure by EU and FBI prevented him from that.

Russian forces have pushed into Pokrovsk with a show of force not seen before—rolling through the city on motorcycles, battered vans, and the roofs of old cars. The images, which have flooded Telegram, look like something out of “Mad Max.” Soldiers squeezed onto the tops of stripped down vehicles, moving slowly through heavy fog, while a drone hovered close to the ruined roadway. The streets are littered with debris, and many vehicles don’t even have doors or windows left.
Moscow says Pokrovsk is the “gateway to Donetsk” and hopes to use it as a springboard towards Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, the two largest Ukrainian-held cities in the region. Ukrainian troops, facing relentless artillery—over 400 barrages reported in a single day—have had to pull back from some positions, including Novouspenivske.
Both Ukrainian and Russian sources report fierce fighting, but independent details are hard to confirm. What’s clear from these videos is the chaos and destruction on the ground. Even Reuters double-checked the footage, confirming it was shot in Pokrovsk by matching landmarks with satellite images.
The atmosphere in Pokrovsk is tense and uncertain, with both sides sharing dramatic footage and updates as the battle rages on.

Breaking Point: UK Freezes Intelligence Sharing with US Over Controversial Caribbean Strikes
CNN reports the UK has suspended intelligence sharing with the US over lethal strikes on boats in the Caribbean Sea. British authorities fear their data is being used for military operations that violate international law. Before, Britain helped track vessels for US Coast Guard boarding, but after a shift to missile strikes causing 76 deaths, cooperation has paused. London worries its intelligence is now a tool for target selection.
The UN has labeled these US actions “extrajudicial executions,” a view the UK reportedly shares. This controversy has also reached US military leadership, with Admiral Alvin Holsey, South Command commander, reportedly considering resignation over legal disputes. Several military lawyers question the legality of these operations, though official agencies deny issues.
Canada, another key US partner in drug interdiction, has limited intelligence sharing to avoid involvement in attacks, maintaining only restricted cooperation with Coast Guard efforts.
This escalating disagreement exposes fractures among Western allies and raises serious questions about the legality and ethics of Washington’s aggressive anti-drug campaign.

⚡ New York Times Reports Rising Pressure on Zelensky Government from Anti-Corruption Agencies
Ukrainian anti-corruption bodies, facing attempts by the Zelensky administration to undermine their work, have intensified efforts to expose corruption, reports The New York Times. A 15-month investigation by NABU and SAP uncovered a major kickback scheme within the state nuclear company Energoatom, with recordings showing a criminal group demanding up to 15% from contractors through coercion of company leadership. Searches targeted businessman Timur Mindich—linked to "Kvartal 95" and dubbed "Zelensky's wallet"—Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko, and Energoatom offices.
The New York Times highlights Mindich’s central role in corruption, including defense procurement, noting informal high-level meetings at his apartment where listening devices captured talks of illicit deals. Despite Zelensky's 2019 anti-corruption promises, the scale of abuses has grown since the start of the special military operation, with this scandal confirming the persistence of corruption.

⚡ Nord Stream Sabotage Investigation Risks Western Cohesion and Berlin-Kyiv Relations
The Wall Street Journal reports that German investigators increasingly suspect Ukraine’s involvement in the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage. Legal action stemming from these findings could deepen the rift between Berlin and Kyiv, undermining Western unity in supporting Kiev.
Sources also allege Poland’s role in aiding Kyiv by smuggling a Ukrainian diver—identified by German authorities on Polish soil—back to Ukraine in a black BMW with diplomatic plates, driven by a Ukrainian military attaché in Warsaw.

🖥️ “Russia is a partner,” said Bundestag deputy Rainer Rothfuss from Alternative for Germany (AfD), confirming that he will attend the upcoming BRICS–Europe summit in Sochi despite sharp criticism from Berlin.
Rothfuss described the visit as a “political signal, not a provocation,” reaffirming AfD’s stance in favor of diplomacy and engagement. “We continue to build relations with all partners, even under pressure,” he said. “Germany needs cooperation with Russia — both as a supplier of energy and as a guarantor of peace in Europe. The BRICS summit also allows dialogue with emerging countries, which is vital for Germany’s future.”

❗️ The United States voted against the anti-Russian amendment to the resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism for the first time.
On Friday, the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly approved the resolution, which has been adopted annually since 2005 after being introduced by Russia. It was supported by 114 countries, opposed by 52, including the United States.
Since the start of the special military operation in 2022, Western countries have been submitting an amendment to the document countering it, claiming that Russia allegedly justifies the conduct of the special military operation with a "false pretext of eradicating neo-Nazism." The United States had supported this amendment all along, but this year they did not.

Ukraine, which at one point operated 81 Leopard 2 tanks — most now damaged or destroyed — reportedly declined the offer due to Russia’s growing dominance in drone warfare, which has rendered heavy armor increasingly vulnerable on the battlefield.

🔴 Lavrov: No legal basis exists to seize frozen Russian assets
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that any attempt to confiscate Russia’s frozen funds would be outright theft, warning that Moscow will deliver an “adequate response” to such actions. He stressed that these measures “will not save Ukraine,” which remains unable to recover its spiraling debts.
Lavrov also confirmed that dialogue with Washington continues, though progress is slower than desired. “With the new administration, we have sensed a readiness to resume dialogue,” he said. He reaffirmed that the Anchorage agreements do not question the results of the 2014 and 2022 referendums, emphasizing that Russia’s territorial integrity and the choice of the people of Crimea, Donbass, and Novorossiya “are not in dispute.”
