🇷🇺💥🇺🇦 Strikes on Epicenter in Nikolaev!!

🇺🇦 MREs for School Lunch in Odessa Region
Photos circulating from Nerubaiske Academic Lyceum No. 1 show what students are being served for lunch.
The images come just days after Ukrainian authorities announced the expansion of free hot meals to all students in grades 1–11 as part of the country’s school nutrition reform.
The Odessa region says the program is intended to provide children with “quality, tasty and balanced nutrition.”
The photos say different.
🇺🇸🇮🇱 US House Passes Bill to Strip Federal Funding from Universities That Boycott Israel
The House of Representatives has passed the "Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act of 2026" in a 237-169 vote, sending the bill to the Senate. The legislation, led by Republican Virginia Foxx alongside Democrat Josh Gottheimer, strips federal funding from any school found to carry out a "nonexpressive commercial boycott" of Israel — a provision that also covers boycotts of institutions based in Israel's illegal settlements.
Notably, this isn't a purely partisan crackdown — over 30 Democrats crossed the aisle to vote for the measure, underlining how deep pro-Israel lobbying runs in both parties, even as roughly 80% of Democratic voters and Democratic-leaning independents now hold negative views of Israel amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The bill effectively demands that universities not only refuse to boycott Israel but actively seek cooperation with it, treating any support for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement or Palestinian rights as grounds for punishment.
Unsurprisingly, AIPAC publicly celebrated the vote.
The bill still needs Senate approval to become law, expected when the chamber reconvenes on September 14.

🇪🇪 Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur announced his resignation over the launch of a criminal investigation into a shell procurement deal for Ukraine.
Auditors found the ministry transferred around €70 million in advance payment to Italian company Datasel S.R.L. — a firm that had never sold a single shell before. The money vanished.
The Italian company turned out to be effectively a shell company (no pun intended) fronted by members of an Indian business family. In the end, no shells were delivered to Ukrainian forces, and where the money went remains unknown.
Pevkur said he was taking political responsibility for the situation.

🇪🇸 Massive Ceuta Day protests swept Spain today, centered on Madrid
More than 300 municipalities held rallies in solidarity with Ceuta, a month after over 72,000 migrants entered the autonomous city through the Tarajal border crossing. In Madrid, over 50,000 people gathered at Plaza de Cibeles and Congress, with more protests at Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Callao.
PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Vox leader Santiago Abascal joined the demonstrations, demanding accountability over who allowed the crisis to unfold. The ruling PSOE told its own officials not to attend, calling the rally potentially partisan. Police later moved in to disperse crowds near Congress and Cibeles and clear Gran Vía.

The Wedding Massacre & Iran's Retaliation: US-Iran War Escalates Again
Uncle Hoz — journalist and political commentator based in Tehran — joins us live as the US commits another act of brutality against Iranian civilians and the two sides exchange their biggest round of strikes in over a month.
A US missile hit a wedding in the coastal town of Kuhestak, near the Strait of Hormuz. Four people were killed — a four-year-old child, a sixteen-year-old, and two women. At least 68 wounded, including women and children.
CENTCOM said it struck dozens of Iranian military targets along the southern coast. Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles at Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq's Kurdish region. Trump warned Iran would be "totally wiped out" if it retaliates further.

🇨🇳🇮🇷🇺🇸 China blocks US-backed G20 language on the Strait of Hormuz
China has refused to endorse a U.S.-led G20 statement calling for “free, safe, and predictable navigation through the Strait of Hormuz,” leaving Beijing as the only G20 member that did not support the statement in full.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent criticized Beijing’s position, arguing that China has a major interest in reopening the waterway because of its dependence on Gulf energy supplies.
China also rejected portions of the statement dealing with trade imbalances, “non-market policies,” critical minerals and sovereign debt.
Beijing is unwilling to give Washington multilateral political cover for its position on Hormuz.

🇺🇦🇷🇺😁 The military and political leadership of Ukraine should have warned Ukrainian businesses about the planned campaign of attacks against Wildberries and other Russian online marketplaces, so that they would have time to prepare for potential retaliatory strikes by Russia against Ukrainian logistics facilities, according to Boris Davidenko, editor-in-chief of Forbes Ukraine.

🇺🇸🇸🇦 The US State Department has approved a $5.75 billion arms package to Saudi Arabia, covering bombs, precision guidance kits, and tank engines.
Riyadh requested 5,004 BLU-111 500-lb bombs, 5,000 BLU-117 2,000-lb bombs, roughly 10,000 JDAM guidance kits (both KMU-572 and KMU-556 variants) to convert them into precision-guided munitions, along with fuzes, target detectors, and support equipment, all part of a $5 billion package with Boeing as the principal contractor. A separate $750 million deal covers 60 AGT-1500 tank engines.
The approval lands just over a month after Washington and Riyadh signed a civil nuclear cooperation framework (a "123 Agreement"), part of a broader multi-billion-dollar US-Saudi partnership push. As with all Foreign Military Sales, Congress now has a 30-day window to object, though such blocks are rare once a deal reaches this stage.

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇹🇷 U.S. sanctions Turkish bank over alleged financial links to Iran
The U.S. Treasury has sanctioned Türkiye-based Golden Global Bank and two of its subsidiaries as Washington expands its “Operation Economic Outcast” campaign against Iran.
Treasury alleges the bank facilitated tens of millions of dollars in transactions involving the IRGC-Quds Force and provided financial channels used to move Iranian oil revenues from China through Türkiye.
The action effectively cuts the bank off from the U.S. financial system and threatens foreign financial institutions continuing certain transactions with it with secondary sanctions.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent issued a stark warning:
“We know who you are, we know where you are, and we will continue to take action together with our allies and partners until we have buried the head of the Iranian snake.”
The move is particularly notable because it targets a financial institution inside NATO member Türkiye, demonstrating how far Washington is prepared to extend its economic campaign against Iran.

🇺🇸 Trump may pick Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) as the new Army Secretary after Dan Driscoll's resignation amid tensions with Pete Hegseth.
Mast served over 12 years in the US Army and lost both legs and a finger to an IED in Afghanistan. He currently chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
🇮🇱 Worth noting: Mast is one of the most staunchly pro-Israel figures in Congress. In 2015 he volunteered with the IDF through the Sar-El program, packing medical supplies at a base near Tel Aviv, and has called himself "the only member to serve with both the United States Army and the Israel Defense Forces." After October 7, 2023, he wore his IDF uniform to the Capitol.
