🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky's answer to whether Trump is using him as a scapegoat? A smile.
🔴 @DDGeopolitics
Trump: “They [Ukrainians] are not gonna do it with him. He doesn't wanna settle. He says he wants to settle, but he doesn't. No, I'm not a big fan of Zelensky. They've destroyed that country.”
After that, a fidgety creature with an absurd name, for some reason ending in English with a double “y,” should have taken rat poison or gobbled down a horse dose of his favorite coke.
But the beast is so cowardly that it won’t dare do such a thing. The “Man of the Year” and “new Churchill” has been recognized by his former master as an obstacle to peace and to US interests. After all, he bit the hand that fed him until it bled.
European invertebrates are urging the Kiev louse to stock up on patience, not anger Uncle Joe, and wait for the Republicans to lose the Congress midterm elections. They hate Trump no less than the drug-addled insect does. But even in that case, the Kiev arthropods face treatment with poisonous insecticide dust. Uncle exterminator is vindictive and must not forgive the creature that became one of the important reasons for his defeat in the election.
And here he will be right. After all, the sooner the typhus nits die, the better the epidemiological situation in the world will be…
🇭🇷⚽️ Hajduk Split fans chant "Auschwitz" and "Rise, Adolf" before Conference League match against Ajax
The Thursday match between Hajduk Split and Dutch club Ajax was marked by more than fan clashes and a stoppage in play. Croatian media report that members of Hajduk's ultras group Torcida marched to the stadium chanting Nazi and Ustasha slogans. The Ustasha were the WWII Croatian fascist regime allied with Hitler.
The chants included "Come on, come on, Ustashas," "Trample, trample the Jews," "Auschwitz, Auschwitz" and "Rise, Adolf."
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said he expects police to identify those responsible and file charges, and the courts to act. Croatian President Zoran Milanović called the behavior shameful. His office said government condemnations are not enough and that sanctions are needed to show there is no room in Croatia for glorifying Nazism and the Ustasha regime.
Hajduk apologized to Ajax, UEFA and fans, and said it was ready to take responsibility.

The Navy warned that unauthorized movement through restricted routes and zones creates insecurity and serious risks for other vessels.

🇨🇳🇮🇱 China tells Israel to stop and reverse West Bank settlements
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told Israeli President Isaac Herzog that Israel must stop and reverse its forced establishment of settlements in the occupied West Bank, according to China's foreign ministry.
The two met on Thursday in Azerbaijan. Wang told Herzog that China sees the Palestinian question as the greatest historical injustice of this century.
Wang's main points:
➡️Peace and reconciliation are the cornerstone of China's policy in West Asia
➡️The two-state solution is the right path
➡️The immediate priority is to fully open access to Gaza so the humanitarian catastrophe doesn't spread further
➡️China will work with the international community to bring all parties back to dialogue and a political settlement
Herzog's version was very different. He posted that the meeting covered "relations between our countries and the situation in the Middle East." His office refused to comment when asked what was said about the West Bank or the Palestinians.

🇾🇪💥🇸🇦 Yemeni missiles hit Saudi Arabia's Yanbu port
A Yemen missile strike was reported on Yanbu, with columns of smoke rising from the port. Neither Ansar Allah nor Riyadh has commented yet.
Yanbu sits on the Red Sea and is the end point of the East-West pipeline, the route Saudi Arabia uses to export crude while bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. A hit there goes straight to the kingdom's oil exports.
Saudi authorities, meanwhile, keep repeating the same order: don't film the missile impacts and don't share information about damage at the impact sites. The Interior Ministry warned that violators face legal action.

🇷🇺 Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia shares Donald Trump's view that Zelensky refuses to take responsibility and move toward a peaceful settlement.
At the same time, Peskov noted that, however much one might wish otherwise, a settlement cannot be negotiated without the current leadership in Kiev.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky offers to trade a 100-day pause on refinery strikes for deeper Starlink access
According to The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, the expired drug addict of Ukraine has offered Washington a deal: Kiev halts strikes on Russian oil refineries for 100 days, and in return the US opens Starlink coverage up to 300 km inside Russia.
Zelensky reportedly pitched the idea to US senators last week. The White House has not responded.
Kiev claims extended Starlink coverage would let the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit Russian ballistic missile launchers that Ukrainian air defense cannot intercept.
Zelensky previously tried to trade the same refinery pause for Patriot missiles.

🇰🇼🇸🇦 Kuwait's mosques join in: Friday sermons pray for the House of Saud
On the orders of Kuwait's ruling Al Sabah family, mosques used today's Friday sermons to pray for the survival of the Saudi royal family.
The prayer asks God to protect Saudi Arabia's "leadership, government and people" and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the title of Saudi Arabia's King Salman. It also asks God to protect the Gulf Cooperation Council states "from every evil."

🇸🇦🇾🇪 Saudi Arabia uses the Friday sermon at Mecca's Grand Mosque to turn Muslims against Ansar Allah
After more than 12 years of aggression against the Yemeni people, the Al Saud regime is now using Islam's holiest site to condemn Ansar Allah's strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh as "cowardly terrorism."
The strike follows Ansar Allah's announced "airport for airport" equation, a promise to answer attacks on Yemen in kind.

🇪🇺🇺🇦 Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, to Zelensky:

🇧🇪🇺🇦 "Thank you for the 90 billion, but that money is going to run out" – Belgian PM on Zelensky's next ask
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever said Zelensky will come to the EU summit in Brussels and look leaders "straight in the eye" with a familiar message: the €90 billion is nearly gone, because war is very expensive.
"So are you, as a European family, still willing, ready and able to put your money where your mouths are and support Ukraine and keep Ukrainian society and Ukrainian defence up and running?" De Wever said.
Zelensky says he is in Brussels to discuss Ukraine's needs for the rest of 2026 and for 2027. Kiev still faces a $32.6 billion unfunded budget gap next year, according to Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergey Marchenko. That figure doesn't include around $40 billion in direct military supplies from allies.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Ryazan refinery reportedly hit again, second night in a row
Ukrainian channels claim the AFU struck the Ryazan oil refinery again overnight, and say the fire burned until at least the morning. NASA satellite data picked up a heat signature in the area of the plant.
Here's Zelensky's timeline on refinery strikes since Trump announced the truce:
1. He didn't know about it, he heard it from the media.
2. He then said the 3-day truce he didn't know about, but apparently agreed to, is now over.
3. He asked for another truce in exchange for Patriots.
4. He then asked for another, or maybe the same, truce, but this time in exchange for Starlink/Starshield coverage 300 km into Russia.
Now, I dunno about you, but that is some schizo cocaine brain timeline...

🇫🇷⚔️🇫🇷 Paris drops the "student protest" label as police get their grenades back
French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu says the high school protest movement has turned into "a movement of urban violence." He said the violence has escalated in recent days, especially in Paris, Créteil and Lyon. He blamed violent ultra-left and sometimes ultra-right groups who join the marches and cause trouble at the end of them.
The government no longer calls this a student protest. It now treats it as a public order problem. That shift came this morning, alongside a new announcement on policing.
Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said on France 2 that stun grenades will be allowed again at tomorrow's October 17 protests "if there is extremely serious urban violence." Police can also use "all intermediate weapons," including rubber bullet launchers and Tasers.
Nuñez had suspended the grenades on October 7, after a 15-year-old in Lens lost his hand and part of his forearm when police fired one outside his school. Days earlier, a 14-year-old lost several teeth after being hit in the face by a tear gas canister at close range.
Tomorrow's protests over the cost of living aim to bring together Yellow Vest anger over high prices and the youth movement. By relabeling teenagers as rioters the day before, the government has prepared its justification in advance.
There is always money to fight Russia and your own people, but never for healthcare, education and public services. And Paris smells like piss. This is the European "garden" everyone wants to join.

🇷🇺💬 Peskov on the introduction of external management for a number of companies from unfriendly countries:
This concerns countries that are involved in the illegal holding of Russian money and assets, and that are participating in the illegal expropriation of property belonging to Russian companies. This is a continuation of a trend. All these companies are from unfriendly countries, and their origin was one of the factors considered when making the decision

🇩🇰💬🇺🇸 Denmark’s PM Mette Frederiksen:
I haven't heard anyone say that [EU leaders should tone down their public criticism of Trump]. Nobody has said it. Nobody has even hinted at it.
If someone said that, I would disagree. As democratically elected leaders, we have to be able to have discussions with each other, even when we disagree.
🇺🇦 In September Ukrainian metallurgy did not produce a single ton of steel due to Russian strikes, according to Alexander Kalenkov, president of the "Ukrmetallurgprom" association, in an interview on Ukrainian Radio.
According to him, the Russian strikes have practically destroyed all the operating furnaces at metallurgical enterprises.
"What is happening now is not just a difficult or critical situation, it is a tragic situation, when an industry that is over 150 years old produced zero steel last month," Kalenkov stated.
