🇺🇦🇧🇾 Zelensky claims relay stations on Belarusian territory, allegedly used to correct strikes on Ukraine, stopped operating
He says they've been inactive since June 22. "Whether they were dismantled or not, I don't know yet. But we're working on it, I'm monitoring this very closely and getting daily reports," Zelensky said.
Recall: he previously gave Belarus a week to shut down the relays, threatening to strike them otherwise. Minsk itself never confirmed that strikes on Ukraine were being corrected from its territory — and accordingly never confirmed any relays were switched off. So at this point it's not actually known whether this equipment ever existed there, or whether it's stopped functioning.
More likely, Zelensky either made the whole thing up or backed off his own threat to strike Belarus, and is now trying to pass it off as a win.

🇨🇴🇮🇱 ISAAC ACCORDS ARE GROWING!!!
Colombia's newly elected psychopath De la Espriella has pledged to open an embassy in Jerusalem and renew a strategic alliance with Israel.
This is a dramatic shift from outgoing President Gustavo Petro, who severed diplomatic ties with Israel over the Gaza war.
Upon his victory Netanyahu congratulated de la Espriella, saying "Friends of Israel keep winning" and referencing the Isaac Accords. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said he has already invited the incoming president to visit Israel.
Outgoing President Petro claimed Israel had rigged the election, posting that there was "evidence of a change in the IP addresses of several servers belonging to the National Registry" and calling for a full recount.

📝US builds "Ukrainian training grounds"📝
US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll announced that within 4-6 weeks, at least two specialized training grounds tailored to Ukrainian theater tactics will appear in the country.
🖍The training grounds are not being built from scratch — existing facilities are being used, which explains the short timeframe. American military specialists will practice drone deployment, electronic warfare systems, and counter-drone systems. This combination has become decisive on the Ukrainian front — and the US Army still hasn't mastered applying it the way real combat requires.
🚩Driscoll formulated a key point: US Army personnel will work at these facilities directly alongside equipment developers. This is done primarily to maximize feedback speed and make corrections to American designs: identify a problem in the field — immediately pass it to the engineer.
In American defense bureaucracy, where the path from prototype to adoption traditionally takes years, this is quite a radical approach.
📌The US actively studies all SMO innovations, collects data, and publishes analyses. And now they're transitioning from observation to integrating this experience into real combat training.
Driscoll did not clarify whether Ukrainians will be involved in the training — but most likely their knowledge will be applied in some form, similar to training grounds in the EU, where AFU instructors are already transferring experience to NATO military personnel.

🇷🇺 The Western "Russia is about to collapse" cycle has rotated again, pegged this time to Ukrainian strikes on energy infrastructure instead of sanctions fatigue. The Economist's own numbers this week undercut it anyway.
Q1 official GDP showed a 0.2% drop, the closest thing collapse-watchers have to a hard number. The magazine calls it a statistical illusion: a VAT hike from 20% to 22% pulled spending into late 2025, the new year had fewer working days, and the weather was bad even by Russian standards. Goldman's high-frequency tracker shows a thaw, not a slump, and VEB data points to accelerating growth in March and April, helped by an oil rebound. Consumer confidence slipped per Levada, but from near an all-time high. Unemployment sits near a record-low 2%. Real wages are 25% above 2019. Aeroflot passenger-kilometers are up nearly 10% year on year. Smuggled Lamborghini sales are up 80%.
Analysts covering this have made the point Western outlets keep skipping: Russia's resilience rests on low dependence on critical imports, an oil export that always finds a buyer regardless of the sanctions regime, and four years of built-out alternative payment infrastructure that blunts each new sanctions round before it lands. Average wages hit 112,000 rubles in March, more than double Ukraine's. Entry-level drone-assembly jobs at Alabuga start at 130,000 rubles with zero experience required.
The oil math holds up too: the 2026 budget is priced at $59 a barrel, crude has been trading at $65-70. Even if prices fall and stay down, Moscow has room to cut elsewhere, social infrastructure, urban projects, before it touches the war budget or raises taxes again.
Military spending sits at 7-8% of GDP, only 3-4 points above the pre-war norm, and a little over what the US is demanding NATO members to spend. The USSR ran up to 20% at its peak. Ukraine runs 40% right now, kept running entirely on Western transfers.
Where the Economist and analysts actually agree there's a real problem: AFU strikes on refineries and energy infrastructure. That's the genuine pressure point now, not the GDP print. But the bar is high: strikes have to escalate faster than Russia can rebuild, and ports recovered export volumes quickly after being hit, while degrading air defense and repair capacity faster than Moscow adapts. Neither has happened yet.
First it was sanctions. Then the interest rate. Now it's drones. The SMO economy keeps not collapsing on schedule.

🇨🇦 THREE DEAD IN MONTREAL SHOOTING, VIDEO SUGGESTS CIVILIAN WAS KILLED BY POLICE, NOT THE GUNMAN
A gunman opened fire on police Monday morning outside a hotel and grocery complex in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood, killing a police officer before being shot dead by responding officers. A second officer was critically wounded but is now stable.
Videos circulating online, acknowledged by Quebec's domestic security minister, appear to show a female officer shooting the civilian victim, not the gunman. Authorities have not confirmed this, and Quebec's police watchdog (BEI) is now investigating the police response itself alongside the criminal probe into the shooter.
Investigators are reviewing a manifesto reportedly tied to incel ideology, but the shooting hit a heavily Jewish neighbourhood, and unconfirmed reports name the civilian as a local rabbi, a claim authorities haven't verified. No motive confirmed yet.
It's the first Montreal police officer killed in the line of duty in 24 years.

🐻 One of the most hilarious things to watch as a pro-Russian channel is how the things that we were mocked for several years ago are turning from "Russian propaganda" into something even the Western officials are starting to admit is true. Remember how the biolabs in Ukraine were called "a conspiracy theory"? Or how Ukraine supporters were saying that there's absolutely no issue with Ukraine glorifying Bandera? What's next?

❗️The Ukrainian meltdown over last week's Russia Day Z truck convoy in Sydney continues.
😎At a meeting with the Attorney General NSW Police informed the Ukrainian delegation that they could not stop the convoy as it was not clear which laws were actually being broken.
😅Under pressure from the Ukrainian delegation of "battered chooks" the government is apparently commencing discussions on banning the letter "Z" symbol nationally in Australia.

📝Import substitution in action📝
With the start of the special military operation, Russia's energy sector came under a double sanctions blow. First, Western suppliers left, without which maintaining existing equipment became difficult. Then some buyers began to shun Russian gas due to the threat of secondary sanctions.
🖍But the problem of ensuring the technological process is being actively solved. President Vladimir Putin authorized the launch of the «Kazankomprессormasha» plant in Tatarstan and the testing of the first Russian compressor for large-capacity LNG.
🚩Previously, such units had to be purchased from foreign suppliers (Baker Hughes, Siemens and Mitsubishi). Due to their departure, Russia's flagship project «Arctic LNG-2» with a capacity of almost 20 million tons also slowed down. A domestic solution would free the industry from this dependence.
The specific recipients of the equipment after the completion of tests are already known. Compressors are being prepared for Baltic LNG «RusChemAlliance», «Murmansk LNG», Gazprom's gas processing plant in Ust-Luga and the facility that «NOVATEK» is building in Murmansk. However, production capacity is currently designed for only 12 units per year.
❗️For Russia, the significance of such projects is hardly less important than the development of the IT industry itself. Domestic solutions make it possible to solve the problem of dependence of production processes on imported technologies in the energy sector. And it is precisely this sector that currently serves as the main source of export revenues and budget replenishment.

🇮🇷 Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson: Today's planned meeting in Switzerland has been postponed.
The meeting's main purpose was to sign the text of the war-ending agreement, with sideline talks on arrangements for the final-deal negotiations. Since the MOU was already signed digitally on the morning of 28 Khordad (June 18), the Switzerland meeting isn't urgent — a new one is being planned for the coming days.
Per the MOU text, the start of final-agreement negotiations depends on the implementation — and continued implementation — of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11.
Necessary consultations are ongoing through mediators; an announcement will follow once the conditions for negotiations are met.

Scott Horton: 250 Years of Empire — Iran, Cuba, Ukraine & What Comes Next?
Congress just did something it hasn't done before in this war: both the House and Senate passed a War Powers Resolution directing Trump to remove US forces from hostilities against Iran. Trump's response — "poorly timed and meaningless." He called the four House Republicans who voted for it "GRANDSTANDERS."
Meanwhile Ukraine's deep-strike drone campaign is now running on Palantir's AI — Karp met Zelensky in Kiev in May, and CNN has since shown command posts coordinating hundreds of drones at once into Russian territory. On the Russian side, Lavrov, Ushakov and Ryabkov have all said in recent days that the "spirit of Anchorage" has evaporated, accusing Washington of never following through on the Putin-Trump summit understandings.
And Cuba just got hit with fresh US sanctions targeting GAESA — the military conglomerate that runs roughly 40% of the Cuban economy — as fuel and medicine shortages deepen and the UN calls for the blockade to be lifted. We sit down with Scott Horton — director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, host of the Scott Horton Show, and author of Provoked: How Washington Started the New Cold War with Russia and the Catastrophe in Ukraine — to talk Iran,
Iran, Ukraine, Cuba, and 250 years of American empire.

The Americans are very naïve if they think the Iranians will abandon their nuclear program, cancel it, and give up all of their dreams of destroying the State of Israel.
🇮🇷 On military and diplomatic strategy:
"Every military success, however successful, only bears fruit when translated into legal and political gain. Without diplomacy, the effort on the battlefield will not bear fruit.
Those who create a false binary — are you a supporter of the battlefield or diplomacy? — are wrong. It's a distraction."

🇷🇺💬 The governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo commented on the fakes about "evacuation buses" in Crimea and other "emergency measures":
"This time, videos are being spread about the alleged preparation of "evacuation buses", the imminent closure of borders with Crimea, traffic jams, and other emergency measures. Such information leaks are regularly launched by Ukrainian disinformation centers with the sole purpose of causing alarm among residents and sowing panic.
A characteristic feature of such fakes is the lack of official confirmations, references to anonymous sources, emotional headlines, and loud statements without any facts. Increasingly, such leaks use edited videos and deepfake technologies, which create the illusion of the authenticity of what is happening.
I urge residents not to trust rumors from dubious accounts and to check information only through official channels. There's no need to help the spreaders of fakes by forwarding unverified messages to your acquaintances.
The situation in the region is under control. All decisions of government bodies and emergency services are communicated to residents exclusively through official information sources.
The louder the sensation and the less evidence — the more reason to be critical of it"

🇷🇺 Rostec successfully tested the EW-resistant quadcopter "Sibiryachok-5".
During the tests, the drone demonstrated high survivability in bad weather conditions, including rain, and effectively performed tasks in the zone of interference from electronic warfare systems.
The new UAV
- is able to automatically take off and land;
- has a long flight duration - up to 90 minutes;
- rises to an altitude of up to one kilometer;
- carries up to 4 kilograms of payload;
- operates at a distance of up to 28 kilometers from the control point (this is much further than that of foreign analogues in the same class);
- returns back on its own in the event of a complete loss of signal;
- is equipped with a laser rangefinder, a video system with 160x optical zoom and night vision;
- integrates with various domestic drone control systems.
"The 'Sibiryachok-5' can be used to monitor infrastructure objects, the progress of construction or mining, search for people and record violations, as well as for various special tasks. At the same time, the drone's components - cameras, boards, electric motors, controllers and other elements - are completely of Russian production, so the device is not dependent on the sanctions situation," noted in the Rostec State Corporation.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Poland's president has stripped Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle — the country's highest award — Gazeta Wyborcza reports.
"The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland has announced that the president's decision regarding the highest Polish award, which had been granted to the President of Ukraine, is final," the report states.
It's also reported that the matter was previously referred to the Chapter of the Order of the White Eagle for review. The meeting took place back on June 8, and Order members presented their opinion to the president. The Chancellery didn't disclose the content of that opinion at the time, only saying Nawrocki would announce his decision "at the appropriate time."
Recall, this stems from Zelensky naming a Ukrainian Armed Forces unit after the "heroes of the UPA."

🇺🇦 Zelensky's SBU Caught Bugging Ukraine's Own Anti-Corruption Detectives
NABU (Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau) says the SBU (Ukraine's domestic security service) installed a wiretap in the apartment of the head of one of NABU's detective units.
The owner of the apartment above him said the SBU asked him to help gather materials on a "Russian traitor." He agreed, and equipment was installed in his apartment — which NABU later discovered.
NABU says the targeted detective is involved in investigating several high-profile cases, including customs corruption and the conduct of certain law enforcement officers and state enterprise employees.
