During his trip, Shoigu will meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Defense Minister, the National Security Advisor, and the Foreign Minister.
He is accompanied by a large interdepartmental delegation that includes officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Justice, Industry and Trade, Roscosmos, Rosatom, and the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
The main agenda focuses on military and military-technical cooperation, as well as expanding Russian strategic projects in trade, energy, and food security with Egypt.

🇷🇺✈️ United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has released footage of a training flight of the T-50-9 ahead of the Dubai Airshow 2025, which will take place in Dubai from November
17 to 21.
The aircraft is shown carrying short-range air-to-air RVV-MD missiles in its internal bays, along with what appears to be Kh-58USH anti-radiation missiles.
A new heads-up display is also clearly visible.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Russian “Vostok” Group forces have liberated the village of Volchye, Dnepropetrovsk region. - Russian MoD
Assault units of the 36th Guards Brigade, part of the 29th Army, broke through Ukrainian defenses north of Alekseevka by more than 3 kilometers. They captured a key defensive zone including Volchye, completing the encirclement of enemy forces in Orestopol from the west. The area is naturally blocked to the north by the Volchya River, while earlier advances from the east and south sealed the pocket.
Ukrainian losses exceeded a platoon in manpower, along with 10 vehicles and 3 armored units.

Russian forces have closed the pocket around Myrnohrad.
95% of Pokrovsk is under Russian control with the Ukrainians potentially maintain positions in the neighborhood at the northern most end of the city.
Note: The 800 meters closing the pocket may not be occupied by Russian forces but it is fully covered by direct Russian fire and is impassable for Ukrainians trapped in Myrnohrad.

Ombudsman Lubinets reports that from January to October 2025 he received almost 5,000 complaints about violations during mobilization.
In the first 5 months alone, there were more than 1,600 complaints. That is, in the following 5 months, the number of complaints doubled to 3,400.
The same number, 3,400 complaints, was recorded for the entire year of 2024. In 2023, there were more than 500 appeals, and in 2022 – only 18.

Russian forces have begun disassembling Ukrainian fortifications inside of Pokrovsk.
They look relaxed which should tell you what the environment is like.
🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Anna News reports that Russian forces have entered the settlement of Rovnoye, located between Pokrovsk and Mirnograd — effectively closing the encirclement around Ukrainian troops in the area.
After repelling several Ukrainian counterattacks in recent days, Russian units shifted tactics, advancing through open fields west of Pokrovsk and Rodinskoye to bypass heavily fortified Ukrainian positions. This maneuver allowed Russian troops to complete the encirclement along the highway west of Rovnoye and Svetloye.
Ukrainian forces still outside the pocket in Pokrovsk and Mirnograd are launching repeated assaults in desperate attempts to break through and relieve their trapped comrades. A small group of about 30 Ukrainian soldiers managed to infiltrate the outskirts of Rodinskoye but held out for less than two days.
Inside the pocket, the situation for Ukrainian troops is rapidly deteriorating. Cut off from supply lines and under constant Russian pressure, the remaining units are retreating toward Mirnograd.
Ukrainian forces have almost completely withdrawn from Pokrovsk, which could be fully liberated within the next two to three days.
Those remaining in Mirnograd are trying to hold defensive positions in residential high-rises. If they fail to break out or surrender, localized fighting is expected to continue for a few more days — delaying, but not preventing, the complete collapse of the Ukrainian Pokrovsk grouping.

A 34-year-old Colombian man, one of two survivors of the October 18 U.S. bombing of a semi-submersible vesselallegedly tied to drug trafficking, has been released from a Bogotá hospital and faces no legal charges.
After being repatriated in critical condition with brain trauma and respiratory failure, he was discharged October 22. Despite Interior Minister Armando Benedetti’s earlier claim that he would be prosecuted, the Colombian Prosecutor’s Office confirmed no evidence linked him to any criminal network.
An Ecuadorian survivor was also freed in his home country.
President Gustavo Petro, accused by Washington of tolerating drug operations, condemned the U.S. attacks in the Caribbean and Pacific, which have killed at least 67 people, calling them violations of sovereignty that target poor laborers rather than cartel leaders.

According to a local source, the building was being used by personnel from Ukraine’s 57th Motorized Brigade. At least 40 soldiers were reportedly inside at the time of the strike.

Ukrainian soldiers told the outlet the situation is “extremely difficult,” with several units already nearly surrounded. One said, “We’ve lost 80% of the city. We’re still fighting for what’s left, but even there we’re losing. The troops in Mirnograd are in an even worse position — they’re practically encircled.”
Another fighter added, “Even if we were ordered to retreat, most of us wouldn’t make it. It’s better to stay and be captured or liberated in the end.”
A Ukrainian diplomat compared the situation to Bakhmut: “It’s the same story — we call it a heroic defense, claim Russia is worse off, then retreat.”
Officers admit counterattacks were “too little, too late.” Meanwhile, Zelensky’s allies insist Pokrovsk must be held at any cost — partly to preserve his image abroad, especially before Trump. Losing Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, they warn, would carry heavy symbolic weight in Washington.
