🇩🇪❌🇺🇦 Most Germans now believe that Ukrainian refugees should no longer receive Bürgergeld welfare payments.
A new poll by the INSA Institute, commissioned by Bild, found that 66% of respondents oppose continuing the payments, while only 17% support keeping them.
A similar sentiment appears on another question: 62% of Germans think Ukrainian men of military age should return home, while 18% disagree.
Meanwhile, the German government has announced plans to reform the Bürgergeld program — renaming it “basic support for jobseekers” (Grundsicherung für Arbeitssuchende) and tightening eligibility requirements.
It remains unclear whether the changes will affect Ukrainians, who since mid-2022 have been entitled to Bürgergeld on the same terms as other welfare recipients.

According to CNN, citing sources inside the White House, Trump made it clear in a “direct and honest conversation” that Zelensky would not receive long-range missiles capable of striking deep into Russia. One official said Trump left with the impression that Kiev’s leadership “is aiming for escalation and prolonging the conflict.”
Other White House officials told the outlet that “both sides should make a deal,” warning that “conditions will only worsen” if the war continues.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Yesterday, Bild’s military correspondent Jihad Julian Röpcke al-Julani admitted that Russian forces had entered central Pokrovsk — and that Ukrainian soldiers were being captured by Russian drones. “Well, that’s it, unfortunately,” he wrote, sharing footage of Ukrainian troops kneeling as they surrendered.
A Ukrainian fighter with the call sign “Mucnoy” reports that the battles are now taking place in the western part of the city — the same area Röpcke marked on his own map. He warned that if Russian troops increase their momentum and pressure, “the city could be trapped and turned into a brutal urban cleanup.”
According to Ukrainian military sources, the fiercest fighting is around the industrial zone in the northwest. Mucnoy wrote that “if this site falls, the city will lose its core — it will become a shattered ruin, impossible to move through.”
Russian sources confirm their forces are active around Pervomayka, the railway station, and the nearby village of Durnyak. Small Russian assault groups are filtering into the center — not to hold ground yet, but to destabilize and fragment Ukrainian lines. This has turned western Pokrovsk into one large “gray zone” of overlapping positions.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian channels like Deep State show this zone as much smaller than others estimate, suggesting a growing disconnection between official and field reports.
🛸 Russian Drones Dominate the Skies
Another serious problem for Ukrainian forces is Russian drone superiority.
“Enemy drones hang over the city constantly, working around the clock — there’s no rest, no safe cover. Artillery finishes off what’s left, and the civilian part of Pokrovsk is disappearing from the map, turning into a gray ghost shattered by explosions,” said Mucnoy.
Russian units are also reported to be advancing toward Grishino, northwest of Pokrovsk — a key supply route for the Ukrainian garrison.
Ukrainian Volunteer Liliya Belyak, citing a medic from Ukraine’s 59th Brigade, said that due to constant drone strikes on vehicles, wounded soldiers wait up to four days for evacuation.
“It’s become much harder to work because of fiber-optic drones. One evacuation vehicle rarely manages even five trips. Russians place drones along the roads, watch our routes, and strike our vehicles when we return. And after the first hit, they launch several more drones immediately after,” Belyak relayed.
🇺🇸🇺🇦 The meeting between Trump and Zelensky ended about 30 minutes ago.
It reportedly lasted longer than expected, with both men skipping lunch. Zelensky and the Ukrainian delegation have already left the White House, while Trump departed soon after aboard a helicopter bound for Florida, offering no comments to the press.
According to a source in the Ukrainian delegation cited by Suspilne, Zelensky is now holding a group phone call with several European leaders, though the list of participants has not yet been disclosed.
Reporters are still waiting for the promised press briefing from Zelensky following his talks with Trump — but it hasn’t started yet. For now, Zelensky continues his consultations with European handlers.

🇺🇸💥🇨🇴 Colombian public media confirm that the vessel destroyed in a U.S. military strike on September 15 — the second known U.S. attack on a boat in the Caribbean — was a Colombian fishing boat operating within Colombian territorial waters.
Among the three people killed extrajudicially in the strike was lifelong fisherman Alejandro Carranza, whose identity has been verified by his cousin. The boat had suffered an engine failure and was adrift with a distress signal raised.
Captain Leonardo Vega, an instructor and fishing companion of Carranza, says the video of the strike clearly shows one engine raised — a universal sign of damage and emergency.
“If a boat is adrift and in distress, international law requires that assistance be given, not that it be attacked,” Vega stated.
🇫🇷 The Louvre in Paris has been robbed, France’s Culture Minister Rachida Dati confirmed.
Details remain scarce, but the theft reportedly occurred during the museum’s opening hours. An investigation is underway, and the list of stolen items has not yet been made public.
According to Le Parisien, the thieves broke into the museum through a window and stole a collection of Napoleon-era jewels — including a necklace, brooch, tiara, and other pieces belonging to Napoleon and his wife.
The criminals reportedly gained access to the building via a service elevator in a section under renovation, allowing them to reach the Apollo Gallery directly. Under the watch of an accomplice, two men are believed to have taken nine items from the imperial collection.
Police are now searching for the suspects, and the Louvre has been closed for the entire day.
