🇺🇦 Ukraine Drops Bill Criminalizing Illegal Mobilization by Military Offices
Ukraine’s parliament has removed from its agenda a bill that would have introduced criminal liability for military enlistment offices involved in illegal mobilization.
MP Max Buzhansky reported that the bill targeted cases where individuals with deferrals or exemptions were unlawfully drafted. It also sought to hold medical commissions accountable for declaring unfit individuals as fit for service.
According to Buzhansky, the bill was removed from the agenda for the next parliamentary session at the request of the Holos party. It was initially introduced in late January.
