In his evening address, he once again accused Russia of attacking the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, insisting that “Ukrainian specialists” should be allowed to take control since the plant is currently operating on diesel generators.
He also alleged that Russian strikes on Ukraine’s logistics and energy infrastructure were a result of “Russia failing to achieve their desired summer results on the ground.”
In short, Zelensky appeared very confident after his phone calls with Trump — the kind of white-powder confidence that tends to blur reality. Russian Armed Forces strikes on railway infrastructure
A massive campaign by the Russian Armed Forces targets not only the energy sector but also the railway infrastructure of so-called Ukraine, where the main role is played by the “Geran” strike drones.
Russian troops carried out several rounds of strikes on enemy depots, fixed and mobile traction substations (TPS). The most massive attacks hit the northern and southern regions of the country, which depend on stable railway traffic.
🔻Which facilities were attacked?
▪️In Chernihiv Oblast, the Russian Armed Forces struck several traction substations in Bakhmach and Nosivka. Also, according to some reports, drones destroyed at least one locomotive carrying ammunition in this area.
▪️As a result, train traffic was partially halted along the entire railway track from Kyiv to Chernihiv and Sumy. Local authorities had to organize bus routes to avoid a transport collapse.
▪️Russian troops also hit TPS along the main railway routes of the southern part of the country, where a significant portion of military cargo is transported from the western regions and Black Sea ports.
▪️One of the main targets was infrastructure in Odessa Oblast. The strikes caused train delays in the “triangle” Belino — Tashlyk — Odessa, connecting the region with the rest of the country. The Odessa classification depot TCh-1 was severely damaged.
▪️Infrastructure in Kirovohrad and Poltava regions was also affected, where key enemy transport hubs are located.
▪️In particular, drone strikes partially paralyzed traffic on several sections from Pomoshna station to Kremenchuk.
This forced the enemy to reroute some trains to routes with lower throughput capacity, while some cargo is now transported via non-electrified tracks, and there are already reports online of attacks on Ukrainian diesel locomotives.

Attempting to slow down the Russian Armed Forces' advance near Pokrovsk, the enemy detonated a section of the Tolyatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline near the settlement of Rusyn Yar.
It appears the object was mined in advance before the AFU's fortification of the sector. The pipeline has not been in operation since the start of the SMO, so the current emissions are remnants of gas previously stored there. Personnel losses were avoided.

After Donald Tusk's scandalous comments on a legally binding German demand for extradition of "Volodymyr Z." due to a German issued European arrest warrant, that was followed up by his statement and a post on X about "Nordstream 2 being built a mistake" - who is publicly responding to his insane statements, besides Hungarian FM Szijjarto?
No one from the European Commission or EU leadership, also no one from the German government.
Russian side is quiet as well - but for completely different reasons.
The only German politicians that we could find responding to it are BSW leader Sahra Wagenknecht and her deputy Sevim Dağdelen.
Even AFD is completely ignoring the issue, as are both the US MSM and Administration officials - no holier than thou criticism by J.D. Vance this time...
And yes, the extradition of both suspects arrested, from Italy and Poland, for this preposterous case of "5 (most likely) drunken Ukrainian Superhuman / Aquamen and an attractive female "cook" on a 50-foot sailing yacht executing the largest industrial terrorist attack in history," - as dumb as it is, it's stil only a matter for the Courts and law enforcement agencies - making Polish PM's statements even more scandalous.

A large convoy of Italian VBL Puma 6x6 armored vehicles was filmed moving through Slovenia’s Prekmurje region, reportedly en route to Ukraine. Italy has previously transferred these vehicles to Kiev, though earlier deliveries were never publicly acknowledged.
Separately, another train carrying M113-based armored vehicles — including VCC-1, VCC-2 “Camilino,” and M548 tracked cargo carriers — was spotted in Treviso on October 6. Together, these movements appear to be part of Italy’s ongoing transfer of over 400 armored and support vehicles to Ukraine. Some are being refurbished and modernized, while others are being sent directly to the front lines against Russian forces.
All this comes as Rome prepares to propose a “global ceasefire” at the United Nations ahead of next year’s Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics — publicly calling for an “Olympic truce” while its trains quietly carry armored vehicles eastward. Preaching peace from the podium while fueling war on the tracks — few gestures could better capture the hypocrisy of Italy’s position.
