🇮🇱🇾🇪 Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:
The day before yesterday, we delivered an unprecedented knockout blow to the top security-political leadership of the Houthi terror organization in Yemen, in a daring and brilliant IDF operation.
The Houthi Prime Minister, most of his ministers, and other senior officials were eliminated or injured.
I warned that after the ‘Plague of Darkness’ would come the ‘Plague of the Firstborn’ and now we have carried out that warning.
The fate of Yemen is the fate of Tehran—and this is only the beginning. The Houthis will learn the hard way that whoever threatens and harms Israel will be struck sevenfold, and they will not decide when this ends.
We will continue to pursue an offensive policy on all fronts with a clear and sharp message: ‘If someone comes to kill you, rise early and kill him first.’
🇪🇺🇺🇦 EU countries are facing a “colossal lack of funds” to keep financing Ukraine in 2026, which is why many of them are pushing for the outright seizure of Russian assets. This was admitted by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.

🏁🇺🇦 According to The Telegraph, discussions around deploying U.S. private military contractors in Ukraine also include the idea of imposing a no-fly zone after a potential ceasefire.
The paper reports that several European states are considering a phased plan: Western air defense systems and fighter jets would “protect” Ukrainian airspace to allow the resumption of civilian flights.
The first stage would involve Western jets and ground-based air defenses covering airports in Lvov and other cities in western Ukraine. If “trust” in the ceasefire grows, the mission could expand eastward toward Kiev and beyond.
Kiev has demanded a no-fly zone since the start of the conflict — effectively asking NATO to shoot down Russian aircraft and missiles. NATO repeatedly refused, knowing this would mean direct war with Russia.
The Telegraph’s plan, however, openly envisions Western air defense units on Ukrainian soil, something Moscow has consistently warned it will not tolerate.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 After a ceasefire in Ukraine, U.S. private military contractors (PMCs) may be deployed, according to The Telegraph.
This move would allow Trump to bypass his pledge not to send American troops to Ukraine. The idea is being discussed alongside vague “security guarantees” from a so-called coalition of the willing.
PMCs would be tasked with rebuilding Ukraine’s defensive lines, guarding U.S. businesses, and establishing new military bases.
The paper claims their presence would act as a “deterrent” against Russia breaking a ceasefire. In reality, the focus is on strengthening Ukraine’s military: keeping Ukrainian troops on the front line while rearming and retraining them under NATO standards. At the same time, Kiev would continue buying U.S. weapons and air defense systems.
Notably, the plan avoids any mention of regular foreign troops in Ukraine — something the Kremlin has made clear it will not tolerate.
The Telegraph reports these so-called guarantees could be announced as early as this weekend.

🇺🇦🇺🇸🇸🇴 UKRAINIAN MERCENARIES WORKING FOR USA SPOTTED IN SOMALIA!!!!
Leaked photos show Ukrainian fighters affiliated with the U.S.-linked private military company Bancroft Global Development operating in Somalia.
Bancroft has long worked alongside AMISOM and Somali government forces, but the presence of Ukrainian mercenaries highlights the growing global footprint of ex-Azov, ex-UAF, and foreign-trained operatives in Africa’s war zones.
Some reports suggest their roles include urban combat advising, drone coordination, and counter-insurgency operations.

🇪🇺 Europe "grasping for straws"
European leaders are weighing the creation of a 40 kilometer buffer zone between the Russian and Ukrainian frontlines as part of a peace deal, a last-ditch idea Moscow has embraced that would likely stretch the continent’s modest number of peacekeeping troops.
The proposal, according to five European diplomats, is among several that military and civilian officials are considering for either a postwar or ceasefire scenario in Ukraine. Officials disagree how deep the actual zone could be and it’s unclear Kiev would accept the plan as it would likely come with territorial concessions. The U.S. does not appear to be involved in the buffer zone discussions.
💬 “They’re grasping for straws,” Jim Townsend, a former Pentagon official who oversaw Europe and NATO policy under the Obama administration said. “The Russians are not afraid of the Europeans. And if they think that a couple of British and French observers are going to deter them from marching into Ukraine, then they’re wrong.”

🇪🇬🇵🇸 Another Betrayal: Egypt Is Training Palestinian Forces to Take Over Postwar Gaza
Egypt has begun training hundreds of Palestinian Authority (PA) security personnel in Egypt as part of a plan to field a force of up to 10,000 to provide security in Gaza after the war, according to The Wall Street Journal. The recruits are largely drawn from West Bank PA units, many aligned with Fatah, Hamas’s rival.
• Training in Egypt toward a phased deployment; the effort is backed by some Arab states, though Israel opposes any PA role in Gaza.
• In April, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine said Arab countries are training Palestinian police for future duty in Gaza; this month Egypt’s foreign minister said training has already begun, with hundreds participating and a goal of 5,000 police as an initial tranche.
• The initiative aligns with regional plans for post-conflict governance without Hamas, with some Arab support conditioned on PA reforms; public trust in the PA remains low.
• Israeli pushback and unresolved ceasefire terms mean any deployment timeline is uncertain.

🇺🇸❌🇮🇳 Trump’s 50% Tariff on India Takes Effect
As of today, nearly all Indian imports to the U.S. are subject to a 50% tariff, half of it imposed as retaliation for India’s continued purchase of Russian oil.
The move comes just weeks after Indian officials believed a compromise was possible. Instead, Trump finalized one of his harshest trade penalties yet, targeting a country that had been repositioning itself as an alternative to Chinese manufacturing.
The tariffs hit sectors that support millions of Indian workers, textiles, machinery, chemicals, and gems, and threaten decades of investment by U.S. firms operating offshore in India.
Vice President JD Vance described the action as “secondary tariffs on India, to try to make it harder for the Russians to get rich from their oil economy.” The decision has already disrupted trade flows and sent a message that geopolitical loyalty now comes with an economic price tag.
Modi, under pressure ahead of elections, has stopped short of naming Trump directly, but has invoked language of economic self-reliance and national dignity, signaling a shift in posture as ties with Washington fray: “No matter how much pressure is put on us, India will prevail.”

🇺🇦 Andriy Parubiy - Background & Context
Far-Right Origins & “Banderite” Roots
➡️In 1991, Parubiy co‑founded the Social‑National Party of Ukraine (SNPU)—an openly far‑right, ultranationalist party with neo‑Nazi features (including use of a Wolfs‑Hook symbol and recruitment of skinheads)
➡️He led its paramilitary youth wing, Patriot of Ukraine, from 1998 to 2004—known for torchlight marches and violent activism
➡️The SNPU was rooted in ideology reminiscent of National Socialism (“social nationalism”) and openly promoted revolutionary ultranationalism, often blaming Russia for Ukraine’s problems
➡️After 2004, SNPU transformed into the Svoboda party, attempting to moderate its image—but many of its ideological trappings and radical networks persisted
➡️Additionally, Parubiy supported honoring WWII-era nationalist leader Stepan Bandera, reaffirming his ideological alignment with Banderite nationalism
Maidan Coup
➡️During the 2013–2014 Maidan uprising, Parubiy acted as the so-called “commandant” of Independence Square, organizing and directing armed “self-defense” units that clashed with police, escalated violence, and paved the way for the coup in Kiev.
War in Donbas
➡️As Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in 2014, Parubiy authorized the “Anti-Terrorist Operation” (ATO) against Donbas. This operation unleashed war against the Russian-speaking population, leading to mass shelling of cities, thousands of civilian deaths, and widespread destruction.
Repression & Russophobia
➡️From 2016 to 2019, as Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, he pushed through anti-Russian laws, banned opposition voices, glorified Nazi collaborators like Bandera, and enforced censorship and repression.
Wanted by Russia for Donbas War Crimes
➡️In November 2023, Russia’s Interior Ministry officially placed Parubiy on its wanted list, accusing him of war crimes in Donbass—based on in absentia charges by the Russian Investigative Committee

🇩🇪 The Merz Comeback
German democracy didn’t crown Merz — corporate power did. Friedrich Merz is now Chancellor of Germany, a comeback built on networks far outside traditional politics. His rise began in 2022 with a CDU landslide, but his real chance came after Scholz’s coalition collapsed in late 2024.
The February 2025 election gave Merz just 28.5% — hardly a majority. Even worse, he failed the first chancellor vote, something unseen in post-war history. Yet hours later, 15 MPs switched, handing him victory.
Those votes didn’t flip on ideology. They flipped on influence — Merz’s BlackRock connections turned politics into business. Many now wonder if this was democracy’s choice at all.
