A visibly unhappy Adam Schiff isn’t taking it well that Jack Smith dropped the charges against Trump: “A serious mistake by the Department."
"It compounds the mistake which is they waited a year before they even brought this case forward or began the investigation."
Schiff was hoping "to postpone further proceedings in the case until after he left office” — and reiterates his worry that now Bondi will “prosecute the prosecutors."
"All of that goes against what Jack Smith said in his brief motion, which is that 'no one is above the law.' So we're hearing that phrase a lot, but we're not giving validity to it by these actions."
It’s been a very bad day for Adam and the corrupt Biden DOJ — and a great day for the American people.

Andrew Cuomo has joined the new high-powered legal team defending Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against alleged war crimes in Gaza after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the Jewish leader Thursday.
The disgraced ex-governor discussed his new role to thunderous applause Sunday night while addressing the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education.
“This is the moment that counts. This is the moment that is going to be in the history books. …This is the moment that true friends stand up, shoulder to shoulder and fight for the State of Israel,” Cuomo said at the Edison Ballroom in Times Square.
Alan Dershowitz, the former Harvard law professor and defense lawyer, is assembling the legal team to defend the embattled Israeli leader, which he first announced in a Wall Street Journal column.
The tribunal in The Hague accused Netanyahu and fired-Defense Minister Yoav Gallant of “crimes against humanity and war crimes” through Israel’s military campaign in the Palestinian enclave after Oct. 7.

Europeans must be ready to sacrifice some “luxuries” to pay to support Ukraine and to prevent a “wartime scenario” coming to the nations of the continent if they are insufficiently prepared, NATO’s most senior military officer said in a speech namechecking both Russia and China as threats.
NATO’s Admiral Rob Bauer, the Dutch naval officer who is chair of the NATO Military Committee addressed a conference of the European Policy Centre think tank on Monday, and while asserting the alliance is more ready now “than it has ever been”, delivered a somewhat pessimistic message of the need for preparedness for conflict. In a speech aimed at businesses across the alliance, the Admiral outlined that businesses had to be ready for war, but by improving their readiness they also reduced the likelihood of future fighting by improving NATO’s level of deterrence.

One of Donald Trump’s closest advisers Boris Epshteyn solicited political candidates, a defense contractor and at least one potential Cabinet nominee for lucrative consulting contracts at the same time he was being paid by the Trump campaign and advising the President-elect on legal matters, nominations and political communications, according to interviews and documents reviewed by Just the News.
One of those who was pitched by Epshteyn for both a consulting contract and an investment opportunity was Scott Bessent, the hedge fund manager named Friday night by Trump as his nominee for Treasury Secretary. Bessent rejected the overtures and eventually, when asked, reported concerns about them to the Trump transition team, including Vice President-elect J.D. Vance.
Wonder if that’s the beef Elon has with him 🤔

AXIOS: President-elect Trump is expected to appoint ultra loyalist Kash Patel to a high-profile position at either the FBI or the Justice Department, top transition sources tell Axios.
Patel would be a deeply controversial pick for any leadership role, especially FBI director. Given the hurdles Patel might face winning Senate confirmation, Trump is considering naming him deputy director or to an appointed investigative role within DOJ, the sources said.
A final decision hasn't been made. Trump still could change his mind, including by elevating Patel all the way to FBI director — a move that would send Gaetz-like shockwaves throughout Washington.
"Kash has a lot of allies who think placing him in a top role would be well-received by the Trump base, and send a clear message that Trump is serious about major reform to the justice and law-enforcement agencies," a transition source told Axios.

BREAKING🔥: Special Counsel Jack Smith asked a judge on Monday to dismiss the federal election interference charges against incoming president Donald Trump, putting an end to a lengthy investigation that never made it to trial.
Smith asked U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan to dismiss the case without prejudice, acknowledging that Justice Department policy prohibits prosecuting a sitting president. If she does that, it leaves open the possibility that prosecutors could again bring charges once Trump leaves office after his second White House term.
But legal experts said it’s possible that once in office, Trump could do something that has never been tested before: Pardon himself to foreclose the possibility of legal jeopardy in the future.

Axios - with an extra ‘r’ in the title for emphasis 🤪: Federal prosecutors charged Ken Leech, one of the world's best-known bond fund managers, with a $600 million fraud on Monday.
Leech, the former co-chief investment officer of Western Asset Management Co. (WAMCO), was long known as "the other bond king" (besides Bill Gross) for his influence over the fixed-income market.
WAMCO at one time managed more than $300 billion in assets for clients, and Leech directed the firm's investment strategies.
Manhattan federal prosecutors allege Leech defrauded Western Asset's clients from 2021 to late 2023 by "cherry-picking" trades, or assigning favorable trades to certain portfolios and losing trades to others.
The Securities and Exchange Commission also filed civil fraud charges against Leech.

President Trump is preparing to sign an Executive Order to REMOVE all transgender individuals from the United States Military.
The Military stands as a symbol of discipline, sacrifice, and unity—a collective force dedicated to defending freedom. When you join, you set aside individuality to become part of something far greater. Yet, the surge of LGBTQ-driven ideology threatens to fracture this unity, undermining the discipline that forms the backbone of our armed forces.
This disruption doesn’t just harm morale; it compromises mission readiness, the beating heart of a strong Military. Without readiness, we lose the edge that keeps our nation safe and secure.
This bold step is not just necessary—it is vital. It’s time to strip away distractions, restore focus, and rebuild the strength that once made America’s Military the envy of the world. Discipline. Unity. Power. Let us rise again and make our Military GREAT once more.

Caitlyn Jenner hints at California governor run against Harris: ‘I would destroy her’
Trump ally and Fox News contributor Caitlyn Jenner dropped hints on what could be in store for the former Olympian, noting on X that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) cannot seek reelection in 2026.
The hint comes after Newsom survived a recall effort against him in 2021, when Jenner was considered one of the possible candidates to run as a Republican against him. Now, in November, Jenner has suggested a 2026 gubernatorial run could be in the cards after writing, “MAKE CA GREAT AGAIN,” on X.
A person with inside knowledge of Jenner’s potential political aspirations confirmed to the Washington Examiner on the basis of anonymity that the former Olympian is fielding calls from people who want to see this gubernatorial run happen and that Jenner is taking these calls seriously.
“Should we do it again?” Jenner wrote on X. “Have been getting a lot of calls with a lot of strong opinions. Newscum is out in 2026.”

The Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) antitrust case against Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, will head to trial on April 14.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg scheduled a bench trial, meaning the case will not go before a jury and the judge will decide the outcome of the trial.
The case had been poised to move forward since Boasberg denied Meta’s request for summary judgement earlier this month.
The FTC sued Meta in 2020, accusing the social media giant of maintaining an illegal monopoly over personal social networking with its acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp.

CNN: Elon Musk floats buying MSNBC, but he’s not the only billionaire who may be interested
Conventional wisdom holds that Musk — the world’s richest man and key Donald Trump ally — and his friends are just joking. But Musk’s posts are adding to the anxiety that MSNBC staffers are feeling about the reelection of Donald Trump and the recently announced spinoff of Comcast’s cable channels.
I spent Sunday on the phone with sources to gauge what might be going on. I learned that more than one benevolent billionaire with liberal bonafides has already reached out to acquaintances at MSNBC to express interest in buying the cable channel. The inbound interest was reassuring, one of the sources said, since it showed that oppositional figures like Musk (who famously bought Twitter to blow it up) would not be the only potential suitors.
But contrary to claims that Trump’s allies are posting on X, Comcast has not put a “for sale” sign on MSNBC’s door. If Comcast chief Brian Roberts really wanted to sell the liberal cable news channel, he could have done that already. Instead, he is moving MSNBC and a half dozen other cable channels into “SpinCo,” a pure-play cable programming company. The hope is that spinning off the pressured-but-profitable channels will boost shares of both Comcast and “SpinCo.”
Comcast says the transaction will take about a year. At that point, could someone swoop in with a bid for MSNBC? It’s complicated. “SpinCo” is structured as a tax-free spinoff, and immediately divesting an asset would have tax implications that could forestall any such sale.
... That said, Musk’s posts shouldn’t be ignored. He famously foreshadowed his pursuit of Twitter with a tweet that asked, “How much is it?” On Friday, he similarly asked of MSNBC, “How much does it cost?” He was responding to Donald Trump, Jr., who posted a meme that (falsely) said MSNBC is for sale and wrote, “Hey @elonmusk I have the funniest idea ever!!!”
