Today, another group of our people has returned home from captivity.
Among them are military personnel who defended Ukraine on the most challenging frontline directions and civilians who were captured in the first months of the full-scale war.
Many of them spent over three years in captivity. Some defenders have sustained severe injuries and require serious treatment and recovery.
We also managed to bring back our young fighters, some of whom are under 25 years old.
Exchanges are always the result of complex, painstaking work by many people and organizations. Thank you to everyone involved.
We continue to work to bring home every Ukrainian servicemember and every civilian held by the Russians.
No prisoner will be forgotten.

As a result of a Ukrainian strike on the Russian Armed Forces' command post in Korenevo, Kursk region, Mikhail Gudkov, the former commander of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet—known for its war crimes and executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war—was eliminated.
Since March 2025, Gudkov had served as the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy with the rank of Major General. He held the title of Hero of Russia and received state awards. In Vladivostok, flowers have already begun to be placed near a commemorative plaque in his memory.
