When the documents of the killed were collected, our scouts were surprised - these Russians had already been in captivity with the 110th mechanized brigade and had gone to Russia for exchange!
Surov Mikhail Vladimirovich, born in 1974, from Tatarstan, was captured by the warriors of the 110th brigade near Avdeevka on November 18, 2023.
Tyumin Alexander Nikolaevich, born in 1976, from Noginsk, Moscow region, was also captured near Avdeevka on October 16, 2023.
According to the personal documents of Surov and Tyumin, the whole group most likely consisted of soldiers exchanged from captivity. There were no other liquidated personal documents or papers.
According to their personal documents, Surov and Tyumin served in the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. After being taken captive, they spent about 8 months in a Ukrainian colony, then returned to Russia, spent several months in a filtration camp, and were then sent back to serve in the 114th brigade, where they were immediately sent to a stormtrooper unit as "convicts". The entire squad of former prisoners was sent on an attack across completely open field, and none of the Russians returned from this attack.
Obviously, the Russian command does not trust its soldiers who surrendered, and sends them on attacks where they are guaranteed not to return, as there is no one to defend them in the Russian Federation. Putin is leading the war until the last Russian.

Transfer within the army is one of the main problems that military personnel face.
I heard a typical story. A contract sergeant, an experienced artilleryman from a military family with several years of service, behaved impeccably at the beginning of the great invasion, being the right hand of the combat leader and the senior officer of the battery, without any complaints. But then the combat leader was replaced. The new commander, to put it mildly, was not up to the task. Reports and paperwork were a priority, but who cares how the battery fires? The sergeant applied for a transfer to another unit, where he would gladly take on a similar position. The combat leader severed the relationship, then the second, then the third. And when the sergeant applied for leave, instead of granting him legal leave, the combat leader issued an order to transfer him to a new infantry brigade as a regular shooter.
The sergeant left the unit and the service on his own accord.
We have significant losses from transfers. The military command does nothing to solve the problem.
The transfer of a soldier or sergeant needs to be approved at the level of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces! This is not an exaggeration or a joke. Under Zaluzhny, it was very chaotic and problematic, but it was often resolved with connections. Under Syrsky, it became worse - transfers became rare, and the vast majority of people have no options.
Now, if a motivated warrior does not want to serve under incompetent commanders and wants to be in a different unit where he can excel, he has to go through a long process, writing about family circumstances, through medical indicators, spending many months on procedures and often even paying bribes! This causes desperation and anger in many, and they often leave the army for a long time.
This feudalism in military leadership is encouraged. People are shown that leaders manage subordinates as their own resource. Normal organizational work on staffing, when people are moved to achieve specific goals, to strengthen combat readiness, in our army has turned into some absurd serfdom, where everything depends on the mood and relationships of different chiefs, the result, the destruction of the enemy and the fate of their fighters are not of interest, only their petty ambitions matter.
Unfortunately, we lack the Supreme Commander's Staff, the Minister of Defense, and the parliamentary defense committee as bodies capable of responding to problems, influencing the management and organization, and effectively controlling military leadership. We are wasting time, losing people, and even defeats on the front do not force us to acknowledge and correct obvious management and organizational mistakes.
