❗️ The four perpetrators of the Crocus terrorist attack have been sentenced to life in prison.
The ruling was handed down by the Second Western District Military Court. According to the ruling, all four will spend the first 17 years of their life sentences in prison, with the remainder of their sentences in a special regime prison.
Each will also be fined 990,000 rubles.
The prosecution requested life sentences for Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, Shamsiddin Fariduni, Muhammadsobir Fayzov, and Saidakram Murodali Rachabalizoda.
Mirzoyev, Fariduni, and Fayzov pleaded guilty fully, while Rachabalizoda pleaded guilty partially.

"Black Thursday" in the Persian Gulf:
The attack occurred at approximately 29°40'N, 48°45'E. This is the outer roadstead area of Iraq's Al Basra Oil Terminal (ABOT), approximately 25-30 nautical miles southeast of Al Fao Port.
Time: The first reports of explosions were received at 23:15 GMT (March 11). The main phase of the attack lasted approximately 20 minutes.
The attack force consisted of 4-6 speedboats (presumably Zodiac or Seraj type), either remotely controlled or in kamikaze mode. Integrated warheads weighing approximately 50-100 kg of TNT are reported to have been used.
Two vessels were attacked while waiting to load/depart:
Tanker "Safesea Vishnu"
Class: VLCC.
Deadweight: ~300,000 tonnes.
It was fully loaded with Iraqi Basra Medium crude.
Tanker "Zefyros"
Class: Suezmax.
Deadweight: ~155,000 tonnes.
Was in the process of completing loading.
The combined volume on board the two vessels is approximately 3.2–3.5 million barrels of crude oil. Given the morning jump in Brent prices to $97.67, the total value of the cargo is estimated at $310–$340 million.
Iraq has officially declared force majeure at the Basra and Khor al-Amaya terminals. This cuts off approximately 3.3–3.5 million barrels per day of global supply.
While the terminal racks themselves were not directly damaged, the waters were declared a "combat zone," paralyzing the work of pilot services and tugboats. War risk premiums for ports in Iraq and Kuwait have skyrocketed 10-15 times, making chartering vessels to the region effectively prohibited until the situation stabilizes.
The main threat now is the blockage of the Khor Abdullah shipping channel. If the tanker Safesea Vishnu loses stability and sinks in the harbor, it will physically block access to the port of Umm Qasr (the main gateway for food imports to Iraq) for months.
"A regional war could become global": If the US makes a strategic mistake, another strait will be attacked like the Strait of Hormuz, according to an IRGC commander.
"Iran's security and defense plans are being implemented in stages, and we still have many aces up our sleeves," the official said.
