Hungary is demanding an explanation from Ukraine regarding the transportation of money through Hungarian territory that may belong to the mafia, according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó.
The Hungarian Secretary of State also stated that Hungary is giving Ukraine three days to resume oil transit via the Druzhba pipeline.
A retired Ukrainian intelligence general was detained in Hungary.
He and six other Ukrainians are suspected of money laundering. The alleged scheme involved transporting $40 million, €35 million, and 9 kg of gold from Austria to Ukraine.
Szijjártó later stated that since the beginning of the year, $900 million, €420 million, and 146 kg of gold had already been transported through Hungary to Ukraine.
Hungary has demanded an explanation from Ukraine and is currently conducting its own investigation.

Germany explains Zelensky's threats against Orbán
German political scientist Alexander Rahr believes that Zelensky's threats against Orbán are a sign of Kiev's desperation: due to reduced arms supplies from the US and Europe and the energy crisis caused by the war in Iran, Ukraine is losing ground.

The state-owned bank's vehicles were transporting currency and precious metals from Austria to Ukraine. According to GPS data, the cash-in-transit vehicles are currently located in central Budapest, near a Hungarian law enforcement agency.
