The British Foreign Office isn't even denying plans to help Kiev acquire nuclear weapons. They're seriously claiming that Ukraine has its own potential to create an atomic bomb, Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin said in an interview with the program "60 Minutes."

Fire breaks out at oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, after enemy attack.
One of the storage tanks and the surrounding area are being extinguished at the oil refinery in Novominskaya, Kanevsky District, the regional task force reports.
The fire covers an area of 150 square meters.
There are no casualties.

Cuban authorities have released new details about what they described as an "attempted armed infiltration for terrorist purposes" by sea.
The men initially spotted in the water returned to their boat and headed west. When a Cuban patrol vessel was 185 meters away, it was fired upon. Cuba reported that its crew was armed with three AKM assault rifles and one RPK light machine gun. A forensic examination found 13 bullet holes on the starboard side, hull, and railings of the Cuban vessel.
The commander of the Cuban patrol, Captain Yosmani Hernandez Hernandez, was shot in the abdomen and forearm but is recovering and is out of danger.
The captured boat, equipped with GPS and radio navigation systems, had 21 bullet holes.
Cuba has identified Amijail Sánchez González as one of the organizers, previously placed on a national watch list for alleged ties to terrorism. Investigators have also named Maritza Lugo Fernández, a US-based individual described as the main organizer of the November 30th movement, as the alleged mastermind.
Authorities confiscated:
— 134 magazines of ammunition and 12,846 rounds of ammunition, including 5.56x45mm and 7.62mm rounds

Flamingo strike on Russia.
Enormous cruise missiles with a 6-meter wingspan, a warhead weighing nearly a ton, and a range of 3,000 km attacked regions of Russia, and for the first time since the start of the SMO, they reached the Sverdlovsk region, flying across the entire European part of the Russian Federation.
One cruise missile was destroyed over the Chuvash Republic, the second diverted to the Republic of Tatarstan and was destroyed. Two missiles headed for Yekaterinburg via Bashkortostan. The one heading for Cheboksary diverted to the Mari El Republic and then on to Perm Krai. Two Flamingo cruise missiles were detected over the Udmurt Republic. Another cruise missile was flying from the Volgograd Region toward the Ulyanovsk Region.
Airports in the overflight regions suspended operations. By three o'clock, Flamingo monitoring channels across all regions had gone silent.
Apparently, none of the missiles reached their targets. No one was injured. The debris fell in a forest far from populated areas.
However, the very fact that such a massive attack occurred less than a week after the previous one (in Vokninsk) suggests that their production line hadn't been destroyed.

Hillary Clinton's closed-door testimony in the Jeffrey Epstein case was not without controversy.
The former US Secretary of State even temporarily suspended communication with members of Congress after Republican Lauren Boebert secretly photographed her during the hearing and, according to sources, passed the photo to popular MAGA influencer Benny Johnson.
The photo quickly spread on social media, prompting a strong protest from Clinton's lawyers. Filming inside closed-door congressional hearings is strictly prohibited for both lawmakers and witnesses. Following the incident, the session was suspended for approximately an hour. According to a Clinton spokesperson, this was a direct violation of the House rules read at the beginning of the hearing.
The testimony is being held at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center near the Clintons' home in Westchester County, New York. The session is being recorded, but any footage will be reviewed by Hillary's lawyers before publication. Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to testify on Friday, marking the first time a former US president has been subpoenaed before a Congressional hearing.
After the hearings resumed, Hillary Clinton asked leading Republican Rep. James Comer to allow the press into the chamber, but was denied. Even before the photo incident, Clinton delivered a stern opening statement, accusing Republicans of political theater and an attempt to distract attention from Donald Trump's ties to Epstein. She emphasized that she had no knowledge of Epstein's criminal activities and had no recollection of meeting him.
Despite denying close ties, Jeffrey Epstein donated $20,000 to a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee in 1999, when Hillary Clinton was running for the Senate. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's convicted "madam," attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding in 2010—years after Epstein's conviction for child sexual abuse. Hillary Clinton has previously acknowledged meeting Maxwell several times. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking—she is Epstein's only accomplice to be jailed.
Lolita Express flight logs show that Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's private jet numerous times, to the Virgin Islands, Portugal, Siberia, Japan, and China. The former president claims the trips were purely for charity. Photos also emerged from the files: Clinton in a jacuzzi with a woman (her face has been redacted), swimming with Maxwell, and an unidentified woman. An oil painting of Bill Clinton in a blue dress and red heels is known to have hung in Epstein's Manhattan mansion.
Republicans, who hold a majority on the House Oversight Committee, subpoenaed the Clintons amid pressure on Trump to release Epstein's files. Democrats are also present at the hearing. The investigation concerns the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein case. The Clintons initially resisted the subpoena, but agreed after being threatened with contempt of Congress. The committee promised to release the video and transcripts after lawyers reviewed them.
Before the hearing, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace said she planned to ask Hillary about a 2015 email in which Trump Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick invited Epstein to a "very intimate" fundraiser for the Clinton campaign. It is unclear whether Epstein attended the event; he made no donations to her campaign.
Hillary Clinton concluded her statement with a call for a real fight against human trafficking, recalling her long-standing work in this area—from the passage of the first federal anti-trafficking law to the State Department's global programs. She accused the Trump administration of weakening its efforts to combat human trafficking.
