Greenland will reject any deal between Trump and Rutte that includes American access to the island's resources.
Politico reports this, citing Greenland's Minister of Mineral Resources, Naadja Nathanielsen.
Rutte and Trump previously announced that they had reached an agreement that would grant the US unrestricted access to local mineral deposits and allow the establishment of military bases.
Greenland has since stated that it has not authorized anyone to negotiate the island's future and does not recognize any agreements concluded without its participation.

Donald Trump announced that the US had seized Venezuelan oil from seven recently seized tankers that were transporting oil from Venezuela in violation of sanctions.
