The software was used to spy on politicians, journalists and activists in countries such as France, Poland, Hungary, Egypt, Finland, and Israel.
Some of the more notable victims of Pegasus spying include French President Emmanuel Macron, Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Defense Minister Margarita Robles, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
