Five aliens – humanoids with “large heads and large black eyes” – emerged from the wreckage and merged into a single object which then exploded, producing a bright flash of light that somehow turned 23 Soviet soldiers nearby into “stone poles.”
This news report was apparently picked up by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service, a now defunct branch of the CIA tasked with monitoring openly available information from media services and bringing it to the attention of the US government if necessary.

A part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group, hiding behind the monastery walls, wanted to surrender, but the negotiator was killed by his own people; the enemy garrison in the monastery refused to negotiate and placed mortar and artillery crews inside the monastery.
As reported by the Russian security forces, the fighting will still affect the territory of the monastery.

Zelensky dismissed the head of Sumy region after the initial version of an attack on civilians failed
Zelensky dismissed the head of the Sumy regional state administration Artem Artyukh, the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Melnychuk said. The decision was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
