#Carrot
It Promotes Good Digestion
Having good digestion is important for the proper absorption of nutrients in food. The consumption of carrot juice helps stimulate the secretion of digestive juices so that you may enjoy all the macro and micronutrients in the food you eat. Fiber in carrot juice
also feeds good bacteria in your gut, causing them to multiply and keep in check the bad ones.
Drinking It Improves Your Eyesight
Everyone knows that eating carrots helps keep your vision sharp because they are packed with beta carotene and lutein, both of which do wonders to your peepers’ health. They keep the layer of light-sensitive cells called retina at the back of your eyeballs in good condition. Naturally, drinking carrot juice can help maintain
good eyesight.
Carrot Juice Regulates Blood Sugar
According to medical experts, diabetics can benefit from the
consumption of carrot juice. That’s because the orange-colored beverage is loaded with plant-based pigments called carotenoids which possess antioxidant properties. Studies have shown that
carotenoids help in lowering blood sugar level, keeping it normal.
It Makes Your Skin Look Great
Vitamin A in carrot juice is an antioxidant that protects the skin cells from being damaged by free radicals. Vitamin A also helps keep your skin hydrated, thus warding off dryness as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Drinking carrot juice is very good for individuals
suffering from psoriasis and other conditions which can be eased by keeping the skin hydrated.
Taking It Gives You a Stunning Glow
Consuming carrot juice can make your complexion look wonderful in a couple of ways. First, the beverage helps the liver in detoxifying
your body, something that causes your skin to become clearer.
Second, drinking large amounts of carrot juice can give your
complexion a slight orange hue that can be easily mistaken for a sun-kissed glow.
Carrot Juice May Prevent Cancer
As mentioned earlier, carrot juice is loaded with pigments known as carotenoids. Because of their antioxidant properties, carotenoids are able to keep cancer at bay effectively. Studies have shown that
drinking carrot juice could reduce your risk of suffering from thelikes of larynx, prostate, cervix, bladder and colon cancer.
Drinking It Lowers Bad Cholesterol Level
Because carrot juice is an excellent source of potassium, drinking it on a regular basis may help lower your cholesterol. This beverage with an eye-catching color is also packed with fiber. As you may
already know, fiber is good for the cardiovascular system as it helps in removing plaque and cholesterol that clog your arteries.
It is a great idea to invest in a good quality juicer so that you may have a serving of carrot juice each time you want one. You may also get your hands on this healthy beverage at juice bars. You may opt for the boxed varieties being sold at your favorite supermarket
for convenience, although you have to make sure that they do not contain unnecessary ingredients.
