I had been trying since February
It did few months to get the slots
Me and my wife recently gave the B1/B2 Visa interview at Mumbai location together, as a family group
We were asked 2 Questions-
1)The purpose of our visit
2)Where do we work
She is an employee with a Private Company
I am self employed
Within a minute the interview was done and we received our visa.
No documents were asked for.
The entire process took 4 months from filling up the DS-160 form , Biometrics and interview.

Experience:- Got my parents' B2 visa done today in Kolkata. In OFC they had locker facility available. For Consular, there is a small shop nearby for keeping items at minimum charges. It was done in 5 mins. If required, the officials will call translators.I am not sure if other that Bengali or Hindi translator is there or not. Hope this helps anyone seeking info.

Hi, all. We want to get a B2 visa for my mother. We don't have any immediate family members in the US, but she does have an aunt she's close to who visits us in India every year. The main purpose of applying for her visa is to make her GCC travel easier, as most of her kids are spread across UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. We might travel to the US for a short vacation later this year. Any advice on her case or her chances for approval without any concrete travel plans? How should we approach this or build her case?
