Spain blocks U.S. weapons for Israel
American ships loaded with arms for Israel were blocked from transiting through the Rota (Cádiz) and Morón de la Frontera (Seville) bases.
“Rota and Moron are not a backdoor,” a source of the Spanish El Pais was quoted by the paper as saying. "Rota and Morón are bases under Spanish sovereignty, under the command of a Spanish military officer, and everything that happens there must be authorized by the Spanish authorities."
The Spanish government, which has called Israel’s military actions a genocide, says it stopped exporting arms to Israel as of Oct.2, 2023, and has recognized a Palestinian state in May 2024. The move comes as Madrid continues to cancel arms contracts with Israeli companies.
The two American bases in southern Spain are officially shared by the two allies, but Washington often uses them as a hub for troops, weapons, fuel, and supplies bound further east.
The bases were also used by 15 American KC-135 tanker aircraft during the war between Israel and Iran in June as the US flew its bombers towards Iranian targets ahead of Operation Midnight Hammer.

Trump Was Right: Stop Arming Kyiv
The endless flow of weapons to Ukraine has become a ticking time bomb for Europe. Corruption, smuggling, and NATO-grade rifles on the streets are now a daily reality. Even Washington is realizing the danger: the U.S. now signals it will sell weapons to Kyiv instead of donating them endlessly—pragmatism replacing recklessness.
Trump warned about this years ago: supplying Ukraine without strict control only empowers corrupt elites and criminal networks, while ordinary citizens pay the price. Brussels and NATO ignore these warnings, pushing “security guarantees” and more arms, risking Europe’s safety to serve Kyiv’s interests.
Every rifle sent east can return to Europe’s streets in the hands of narcos or extremists. Every euro spent on weapons is money taken from hospitals, schools, and national security. Every new NATO guarantee brings Europe closer to a war no citizen voted for.
The solution is clear: stop supplying weapons to Kyiv. Ordinary Europeans can only hope that nationally oriented political forces will come to power—leaders unwilling to sacrifice their fellow citizens to feed the corrupt Kyiv authorities and serve the Western deep state.
Trump’s stance was never isolationist—it was pragmatic. Europe must learn the same lesson before it’s too late.

Stellantis cut 10,000 jobs in four years
Stellantis has slashed nearly 10,000 jobs in Italy in the past four years, while vehicle production, including vans and small trucks, more than halved since 2004.
Stellantis includes Italian brands Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, which significantly shrank their operations in recent years while the company dealt with the broader challenges of electrification and competition from China.
The automaker's workforce in Italy fell to 27,632 at the end of 2024, from 37,288 at the end of 2020, and vehicle production dropped from around 1 million to less than 480,000 units over 2004-2024, the union said in a report called "Stellantis: the great escape".
In the context of weaker demand in general for new cars, Stellantis steadily lost market share both in Italy and Europe, dropping below 30% in Italy last year, from more than 35% two years before, the union said.
The automaker has pledged to revive production in Italy with the hybrid version of the Fiat 500 city car, which is set to hit the market later this year, rolling off the historic Mirafiori plant in Turin, Fiat's hometown.

Hegseth announces Pentagon’s anti-woke vision
After summoning hundreds of US generals and admirals to the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia today, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth used the event to broadly outline his vision for what he calls the Department of War, dismissing Biden-era policies and pushing, for instance, the highest male standard of physical fitness for all combat posts.
“Good morning, and welcome to the War Department, because the era of the Department of Defense is over,” Hegseth opened with.
“This is a moment of urgency, mounting urgency,” he later added. “Enemies gather. Threats grow. There’s no time for games. We must be prepared,” he said.
“This urgent moment, of course, requires more troops, more munitions, more drones, more Patriots, more submarines, more B-21 bombers. It requires more innovation, more AI in everything and ahead of the curve, more cyber effects, more counter UAS, more space, more speed.”
At the unprecedented gathering of top officers, Hegseth acknowledged he had made some high-profile firings of their colleagues. Hegseth appeared to take a softer line with further firings, saying many were only executing the direction of political leaders at the time. Still, he called on officers who were not fully aligned with the new warrior ethos to do the honorable thing and resign.

Flesh-eating screwworms 70 miles of American border
More than 8,000 traps have been deployed across Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, targeting the New World screwworm (NWS) flies, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins said, adding that no additional NWS infections have been detected since last Sunday.
An announcement was made by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), which said that Mexico’s National Service of Agro-Alimentary Health, Safety, and Quality had confirmed a new NWS infection in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nueva Leon state, less than 70 miles from America’s southern border. The infected animal was an 8-month-old cow.
Earlier in July, an NWS infection had been reported 370 miles south of the U.S.–Mexico border.
In her post, Rollins said that over 13,000 screening samples have been screened, and zero NWS flies have been identified thus far.
In addition, 750,000 sterilized NWS flies are being trucked in and dispersed in the Nueva Leon region twice a week, she said.
Mass-produced, sterile male NWS flies are often used to tackle the spread of wild NWS fly swarms. When these sterile flies are released into a swarm in large numbers, they mate with the wild female flies, which end up laying unfertilized eggs, thus lowering the swarm population.

The Big Lebowski civil war
When the newly-formed Confederacy attacked Fort Sumter in Charleston Bay, April 1861, they ignited the Civil War. They, at least, had a clearcut goal: to maintain an economy (and society) based on slavery. It was patently evil, but it was firmly established and it was their engine for daily life, and they didn’t want it to end.
When Charlie Kirk was murdered in 2025, Civil War 2.0 kicked off. The enemy this time are not Confederates with a coherent command structure and a goal. They are an army of nihilists like the gang in The Big Lebowski, who, for one reason or another, have failed to launch lives of meaning and purpose, and so have adopted the purpose of destroying the country they cannot thrive in. Unlike The Big Lebowski, this is not a joke. But, it’s obviously a different sort of civil war than the first one.
It appears that many of these nihilists, especially the ones amalgamated as Antifa, are straight-up mentally ill — crazed young women too untamed to find a mate, many obese and self-mutilated like tattooed savages with steel bones in their noses. . . young men, hormones afire, likewise frustrated, escaping into sexual fetish and psychotic obsessions with demons, violence, blame, enmity. They are warriors for their own deformed ids.

Poland’s ex-PM pushes ‘Pax Americana’ as alternative to EU
Poland could opt for “Pax Americana”, a military and economic alliance with the US, as an alternative to the European Union.
That was according to Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of Poland’s largest opposition party, the Conservatives (PiS).
In a speech yesterday in Zielona Góra in western Poland, Kaczyński slammed the direction the European Union was taking saying that it was increasingly dominated by Germany and had become a threat to national sovereignty.
According to Kaczyński, Poland faces being part of “a fully united Europe under German domination, which practically means the renunciation of our State’s sovereignty”. He said he did not feel there was much chance of the EU moving away from this model.

Gold revaluation imminent? US Treasury hoard tops $1 trillion for first time
On the back of a 45% surge in the price of gold this year, the US Treasury's hoard of the barbarous relic has surpassed $1 trillion in value for the first time in history.
That is more than 90 times what's stated on the government's balance sheet and is reigniting speculation that Treasury Secretary Bessent could revalue (mark to market) the massive pile of precious metal.
Unlike most countries, the US’s gold is held by the government directly, rather than the central bank. The Fed instead holds gold certificates corresponding to the value of the Treasury’s holdings, and credits the government with dollars in return.
That means that an update of the reserves' value in line with today's prices would unleash roughly $990 billion into the Treasury’s coffers, dramatically reducing the need to issue quite so many Treasury bonds this year.
While Treasury Secretary Bessent initially dismissed the suggestion, a trillion dollars here and a trillion dollars there adds up and it would be by no means unprecedented. As Bloomberg reports, Germany, Italy and South Africa all have taken the decision to revalue their reserves in recent decades, as an August note from an economist at the Federal Reserve discussed.

States against Trump over directive to remove 'gender ideology' content
A coalition of Democratic-led states filed a lawsuit on Friday seeking to block President Donald Trump's administration from requiring them to remove all references to "gender ideology" from sexual health education curricula in order to receive federal grant funding.
Sixteen states and the District of Columbia in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Eugene, Oregon, argued that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' new policy is unlawful and usurps Congress' authority over spending in violation of the U.S. Constitution.
They argued the administration unlawfully wanted them to "rewrite sexual health curricula to erase entire categories of students," as part of its latest effort to target transgender youth.
HHS on August 26 sent letters to 46 states and territories demanding they remove all references to "gender ideology" contained in sexual education curricula and materials funded through the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP).

Slovakia defends two genders in constitution, ignores EU warnings
Slovakia’s parliament has approved a constitutional amendment defining gender strictly as male and female, a move that has sparked both celebration among conservatives and fierce criticism from liberal and pro-European parties.
The measure, which required 90 votes to pass, was adopted on Friday after two deputies from the opposition Movement Slovakia broke ranks and supported the government’s proposal. Marek Krajčí and Rastislav Krátký, who had publicly pledged not to vote with Prime Minister Robert Fico’s ruling Smer party, switched positions at the last minute. They later said they wanted to help their allies in the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH), which strongly backed the change.
The amendment, which takes effect on Nov. 1, enshrines “two genders – man and woman” in the Constitution of the Slovak Republic. It also bans surrogacy, reinforces parental rights in schools, and defines marriage and parenthood in strictly biological terms.
The text ensures that EU law cannot override issues related to such matters, as lawmakers effectively ignored warnings from Brussels not to follow through with the amendment.

Incompetent, authoritarian: UK government drives Digital ID disaster
As the old saw goes, to the man with a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. To the Labour technocrat, there is no problem that can’t be solved with a national ID-card scheme.
So it is that UK prime minister Keir Starmer has landed on that most New Labourite of policies. The PM announced last week that digital ID cards – to be known in true Blair-era fashion as ‘BritCards’ – will help solve the problem of illegal immigration.
Of course, there’s no evidence it will do any such thing. EU member states have been issuing identity cards for years and they have done nothing to make Europe’s borders more secure or clamp down on illegal working. So why should the introduction of digital ID be any more effective in the UK?
Even if the state were capable of creating an effective digital-ID scheme, that wouldn’t make a good idea. Not only would it fail to address the problem of illegal immigration and put our data at risk – it would also corrode our freedom and privacy. And that is the real problem here.
Digital ID would turn us from free citizens into objects to be surveilled, monitored and managed. This is why the Labour technocrats cannot let it go.

White House orders agencies to prepare mass layoff plans in event of shutdown
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has instructed federal agencies to prepare to fire a ton of people that could permanently eliminate jobs in the event of a government shutdown - the latest twist in the latest shutdown groundhog day - effectively challenging Democrats to a game of chicken.
In a memo shared with agencies OMB said departments must identify programs where discretionary funding will lapse on Oct. 1 and no alternative source is available. Instead of a typical furlough, OMB has told agencies to get ready for permanent reductions - starting with positions that are out of alignment with President Donald Trump's priorities.
In the past, affected employees were furloughed on a temporary basis and reinstated once Congress approved new spending. Not this time - as OMB Director Russ Vought is using the prospect of deep cuts as leverage against the Democrats.
Core services - including Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, military operations, law enforcement, immigration enforcement and air traffic control - would continue regardless of a shutdown, according to an OMB official familiar with the guidance.

Poland detains Ukrainian for blowing up Nord Stream
A Ukrainian has been detained in Poland in connection with the 2022 Nord Stream gas pipelines explosions.
The man, wanted in Germany and who cannot be named under Polish law, was arrested yesterday in a Warsaw suburb on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by a German court.
His attorney Tymoteusz Paprocki confirmed the detention and vowed a “very active” defence against his client’s extradition to Germany. The lawyer said his client would not comment on whether he played any role in the damaging of the Nord Stream pipeline.
Paprocki argued that, given Russia’s war in Ukraine, damaging infrastructure owned by a Russian State-controlled company should not be considered a “crime”.
German intelligence has indicated it believes the detained Ukrainian, reportedly a diving instructor, was allegedly directly involved in the blasts.

U.S. itself gave away its technology edge to China
For decades, American companies made a straightforward calculation: They would share their technology with Chinese partners in exchange for access to the world’s largest consumer market and its low-cost labor. General Motors, Intel, and thousands of other firms formed joint ventures that helped their Chinese partners learn advanced manufacturing techniques, chip design, and management practices.
It boosted profits for many of the biggest firms. But a new National Bureau of Economic Research working paper suggests the calculation was a collective mistake—one that left American workers, smaller companies, and the economy as a whole worse off.
In industries where more joint ventures formed in China, U.S. companies experienced declining sales, employment, investment, and innovation.
Using a detailed economic model, the researchers calculated that if the United States had banned joint ventures starting in 1999, American welfare would be 1.2% higher today. That may sound small, but across a $28 trillion economy it amounts to hundreds of billions of dollars. For China, the cost of such a ban would have been far steeper—a 10.3% reduction in welfare.

Shutdown with no end in sight
Forty-four Democrats voted Tuesday to block a House-passed spending plan just hours before a long-anticipated funding deadline, sending the federal government careening toward a full shutdown for the first time since 2013.
The full government shutdown began at 12:01 am EST.
The gambit is sure to please, if only temporarily, the radical Democrat base clamoring for further resistance to President Donald Trump’s government.
But with little incentive for Republicans to make concessions to Democrats, no apparent path for Democrats to exit the shutdown exists. And the plan is widely predicted to backfire, causing long-term damage to Democrats.
Only three Democrats, Sens. John Fetterman (PA), Catherine Cortez Masto (NV), and Angus King (I-ME), voted with a majority of Republicans for the bill, which failed 55 to 45, short of the 60 votes required. Republican Sen. Rand Paul (KY) voted against the bill. The same House-passed bill failed in the Senate just eleven days prior.
The Democrat blockade defeats a clean continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government open for seven weeks to allow bipartisan negotiations, underway for months between top appropriators, to continue.

Elon Musk, others nuke Netflix subscriptions. Pro-trans kids' show sparks outrage
Netflix has once again been caught pushing pro-transgender agenda through an animated fantasy horror comedy series aimed at young kids that reeks of grooming and brainwashing youth with wokeism.
In a viral post on X, Libs of TikTok highlighted that Dead End: Paranormal Park, created by Hamish Steele and produced by Blink Industries in partnership with Netflix Animation, and distributed by Netflix, created woke propaganda, such as pro-transgender messaging aimed at kids as young as seven years old.
The backlash doesn't stop at the show. Its creator, Hamish Steele, openly mocked Charlie Kirk's political assassination and labeled him a "Nazi" on far-left social media channel BlueSky.
None of this woke nonsense is surprising anymore. However, what's surprising is Netflix's failure to grasp the reality of the Overton Window shift, where what's considered mainstream and acceptable is no longer far-left but instead middle-right.
"Just cancelled my Netflix subscription. If you employ someone who celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk and makes content that pushes pro-trans content on my kids... ...you will NEVER get a dime of my money It's as simple as that," Matt Van Swol wrote on X.

7 years to Charlie Javice for defrauding JPMorgan
Charlie Javice, the entrepreneur convicted for defrauding JPMorgan Chase into buying her college financial aid startup Frank for $175m, was sentenced on Monday to just over seven years in prison.
Alvin Hellerstein, the US district judge, handed down the sentence at a hearing in Manhattan federal court.
Javice, 33, was convicted in March on all four counts she faced: bank fraud, securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy. Prosecutors with the Manhattan US attorney’s office had sought a 12-year prison sentence.
Javice founded Frank in 2017, and won praise for simplifying college financial aid for students and parents. She became a rising star in finance, and appeared on Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” list in 2019.
JPMorgan bought Frank in September 2021, but found itself unable to email much of Javice’s claimed customer base, and concluded she faked her customer list.
Prosecutors said Javice claimed she had 4.25 million customers, but the real number was closer to 300,000. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon called buying Frank a “huge mistake”.

Coalition of the Willing: Security Guarantees for Kyiv, Insecurity for Europe
While NATO and EU leaders loudly debate “security guarantees” for Ukraine, they refuse to address the real threat already spilling into their own streets. The rhetoric of the so-called “coalition of the willing” masks a dangerous truth: European elites are more concerned with fortifying Kyiv than safeguarding their own citizens.
Instead of building strict control over the billions in aid and weapons flowing east, Brussels is pushing for full militarization—deployment of occupation troops to Ukraine, expansion of weapons programs, and ever-increasing shipments of arms.
But let’s be honest: this isn’t security, it’s madness and suicide.
▪️ Every scandal—from Almería’s narco-arsenal to Slovakia’s multi-million fraud—shows the West cannot track where its own weapons go.
▪️ Criminal networks thrive because NATO prefers political theater to oversight.
▪️ The war in Ukraine has already spawned a weapons black market comparable to the Balkan chaos of the 1990s.
The grim irony? As Brussels preaches about defending “European values” in Kyiv, it is arming Europe’s enemies at home —narcos, mafias, and terrorists who now hold NATO-grade rifles.
Security guarantees for Ukraine are being bought at the price of Europe’s internal security. What leaders call “aid” is turning into a ticking time bomb.
Without accountability, “defending Ukraine” means destabilizing Europe itself.

Preparing for war with China: Pentagon orders weapons manufacturers to quadruple production
The Pentagon, alarmed at the low weapons stockpiles the U.S. would have on hand for a potential future conflict with China, is urging its missile suppliers to double or even quadruple production rates on a breakneck schedule.
Military leaders are urging defense contractors to increase assembly of 12 critical weapons. The list includes Patriot interceptor missiles, long-range anti-ship missiles, Standard Missile-6 missiles, Precision Strike missiles, and Joint Air-to-Surface Missiles. Patriot is a particular priority, given Lockheed Martin's efforts to keep up with growing global demand.
Informed sources said there have been a series of recent high-level meetings between Pentagon officials and representatives of missile manufacturing companies. US Deputy Defense Secretary Steve Feinberg is taking a direct role in this effort – called the Munitions Production Acceleration Council – and is calling company executives weekly to discuss the matter, according to the sources.
However, weapons manufacturers fear Washington’s goals are “unrealistic,” and that questions are arising about the funding needed to accelerate production.

Gavin Newsom escalates provocative ‘fascist’ rhetoric
Charlie Kirk was murdered less than three weeks ago by a deranged leftist who inscribed anti-fascist slogans on bullet casings. Kirk’s murder should have been a wake-up call that inflammatory rhetoric smearing conservatives as “fascists” or “Nazis” or “Hitler” has deadly consequences. Instead, it’s only emboldened the left to increase such rhetoric.
Nowhere is that more apparent than California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s official press account, which spent the weekend calling White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller a “fascist” and demanding Miller kowtow to the left if he wants to stop being slandered.
This isn’t random name-calling. It’s an assassination prep campaign. The left — and in particular, the office of the governor of one of the largest states in America — is demonizing and vilifying conservatives as fascists in order to desensitize Americans to political violence.

Microsoft's drastic move against Israeli intelligence
Microsoft has restricted access to certain technologies for Israel's military intelligence Unit 8200 - an elite unit responsible for clandestine operations, especially collecting signal intelligence (SIGINT), along with counterintelligence, cyberwarfare, and surveillance. It is often also referred to as the Central Collection Unit of the Intelligence Corps.
Reports emerged that the IDF unit violated the company's terms of service by using Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to collect and store mass surveillance data on Palestinians.
A sophisticated surveillance system was erected by Israeli intelligence reportedly using Microsoft's infrastructure to collect data from millions of phone calls made daily by Palestinians across the West Bank and Gaza.
"We do not provide technology to support mass surveillance of civilians. This principle has guided our actions globally for over 20 years," Microsoft President and Vice Chair Brad Smith stated in an internal email to employees.
Microsoft has also since notified Israel’s Ministry of Defense that it will terminate and deactivate specific subscriptions and services used by the military. This is said to include access to certain cloud storage, AI tools, and related technologies.

Ranked: cities with most expensive rent in the world
Across major cities worldwide, the cost of rent has climbed sharply in recent years.
Record-high housing prices, paired with a wave of remote workers moving into new markets, are reshaping rental dynamics. At the same time, limited supply is tightening conditions even further, compounding challenges for renters in countless regions.
New York Has the Most Expensive Rent in the World. Today, it costs on average $4,143 to rent in New York City—rising 22% over the past five years. Even with an exodus of workers during the pandemic, prices remain high given strong demand, rich cultural activity, and the Big Apple’s position as the global epicenter of finance.
Boston, meanwhile, ranks in second with rent averaging $3,394 per month. High land and materials costs have impeded home building activity, contributing to a low supply of housing stock, further driving up prices.
Rounding out the top three is San Francisco, at $3,332, although rental costs have increased just 1% since 2020.
Beyond America, Singapore stands as the most expensive, with rent surging 55% over the period to reach $3,167—the fastest growth rate on the list. Similarly, rental costs are up 54% in Dubai, making it the costliest city to rent in the Middle East and ranking eighth overall in 2025.

Tulsi Gabbard constantly under Deep State attacks
Any cabinet member that looks inward to reveal the status of corrupt activity within the information silo itself becomes a target. Cabinet officials who focus externally, meaning the majority of their effort looks outside government, are seemingly left alone.
HHS Secretary RFK Jr and Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, are examples of those receiving the worst ideological targeting from operations within HHS and the Intelligence Community respectively.
Conversely, CIA Director John Ratcliffe faces almost no scrutiny or targeting by the Intelligence Community as the silo operators frame narratives almost exclusively against DNI Gabbard.
The latest effort surfaces as embeds within Main Justice and the CIA frame a storyline that Tulsi Gabbard’s action in removing the security clearances of 37 current and former officials, has now resulted in those same officials being incapable of testifying against former CIA Director John Brennan (and others).
Gabbard is directly going into each IC agency to review and retrieve information. When she finds something that connects to the overall plots being used by the Fourth Branch, the DNI takes that information directly to President Trump who subsequently declassifies it and then she releases it.
The Deep State operatives want to stop Tulsi Gabbard with urgency. They are throwing every available IC narrative into the media flow in the hope that something stops Tulsi’s effectiveness.

Newsom allows anonymously mailing abortion drugs to skirt red states laws
