👁There are circulating rumors - allegedly based on information from people close to Pavel Durov and recent updates discovered in the Telegram test client source code - that a feature similar to crafting new gifts from existing ones may be introduced.

🤑 Why TON Is a Sensitive Cryptocurrency

💼 Many retail investors and traders keep popular cryptocurrencies directly on exchanges. For most of them, such assets serve primarily a speculative or store-of-value function and are rarely used beyond trading, holding, or passive staking.

⛓️ TON differs significantly in this regard. The TON ecosystem already has a large and rapidly scalable infrastructure in which the native coin is used directly in real-world scenarios: Telegram services, mini apps, marketplaces, payment mechanisms, digital gifts 🐸, and other applied products. As a result, a substantial portion of TON is not concentrated on centralized exchange trading balances and does not function solely as a speculative or passive staking asset, but instead remains in active circulation within the ecosystem itself.

😿 This characteristic makes TON less visible to traditional crypto traders and large exchange-driven liquidity flows. Unlike many other Layer-1 networks, TON is still weakly integrated into multi-chain wallets, inter-exchange transfer routes, and standard DeFi pipelines. Because of this, TON partially remains “in the shadow” of the broader crypto market. This can put downward pressure on its exchange price, as the asset is less exposed to global speculative capital.

💪🏼 At the same time, this situation has another side. If a significant share of TON is genuinely used as a utility asset rather than as a purely exchange-driven instrument, then its current market valuation may not fully reflect the real value of the ecosystem. In that case, TON could be considered a potentially undervalued asset — although this remains a hypothesis rather than a guarantee of future price growth.

❓ Several key questions remain open: Will TON emerge from the shadow and become a full-fledged transport network for crypto transfers between exchanges and wallets? Will large investors begin to use TON more actively in staking and long-term strategies? And will the market be willing to reassess TON not only as an internal asset of the Telegram ecosystem, but as a global blockchain infrastructure tool?

Only time and further infrastructure development will provide the answers.

🤝 At first glance, if such a person offers to “invest” a small amount in a project or to buy your (even very cheap) gift at an attractive price, it may seem that they have no reason to scam you — or that the deal amount is too small for them to care.

⚠️ However:

🔹 Сhannels can easily be boosted to hundreds of thousands of subscribers in just a few hours (through giveaways or bots), and it’s also cheap to buy fake reactions, views, and even AI-generated comments.
