Arkham's intelligence platform will soon include support for The Open Network. Arkham is also coming to Telegram and has begun building its platform in a Telegram Mini App. This will provide over 900M Telegram users with lightning-fast access to Arkham data.

​TON Ecosystem Roundup

As the TON Ecosystem keeps on growing & expanding, the last week brought several updates from four ecosystem projects: DeDust, Smeshariki, Tele, and ION.

DeDust

DeDust has launched a staking program to share revenues with users. Last month, the total trading volume exceeded $300 million, generating over $300,000 in protocol revenue. Starting this month, such commissions will be converted into $SCALE and distributed among stakers.

TELE

TELE Protocol introduced their new Telegram Mini App, offering deploy and mint features after they achieved remarkable success with their Initial DEX Offering (IDO), raising an impressive $300,000. In the new product, users can freely deploy their own brand tokens and get up to 90% share of the minting fees, while the minters will be rewarded with $TELE based on their contribution.

Smeshariki

Characters from the legendary Smeshariki cartoon series also known as Kikoriki are now living on the TON blockchain. Artoy’s limited-edition collection "Smeshariki x TON. Season 1" featuring 5,000 unique NFTs, including 1,000 rare pieces. Their NFT Collection was sold out in 10 minutes.

ION Finance

ION Finance, the first concentrated liquidity dex on TON Blockchain, has launched its initial features on Mainnet, introducing two engaging events for the TON Community. The first event enables participants to create their own community tokens using TON Minter, while the second invites users to make their own liquidity pools with their tokens. Users can now get involved and participate through the ION Finance Mainnet bot on Telegram.

The Open League Season 2 Starts Today

Open League S1 has contributed to ATHs across every metric in April. With a massive $9million distributed to all 894K TON users who participated in Season 1!

​TON reducing network fees

TL;DR: TON network fees have been reduced by 3x across the board in response to Toncoin’s recent growth.

We are excited to announce a series of updates aimed at reducing network fees, enhancing the scalability and accessibility of TON Blockchain. These updates are a testament to TON’s continuous efforts to innovate, encourage greater activity within the TON Ecosystem, and put crypto to every pocket.

Key updates:

USDt Jetton discount

Starting April 16th, there is a special discount for Jetton-with-governance transactions like USDt. Fees were reduced to 0.02 TON from 0.032 TON for the first transaction, and subsequent transactions are now only 0.0145 TON.

Global fee reduction

Validators have approved the TON Core Dev team's proposal for a further 3x reduction in transaction fees. The cost for the first Jetton-with-governance transaction is now ∼$0.06, with subsequent transactions at ∼$0.04, assuming 1 Toncoin = $7. Please note that these costs will fluctuate with Toncoin’s value.

Introduction of precompiled smart contracts

In the next node update, the TON Core Dev team will introduce the ability for smart contracts to be precompiled. This means that the most popular smart contracts, written in C++, will be embedded directly in the node, bypassing the need for TVM execution. This adjustment reduces resource consumption and, consequently, the fees associated with these contracts.

These updates are aimed at making TON, the world's most scalable blockchain, stand out as the most affordable option for projects seeking mass adoption.

​USDt launches on TON to offer Telegram’s 900M users access to cross-border payments

Pavel Durov, CEO & Founder of Telegram, Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, and Andrew Rogozov, CEO of TOP & Wallet, announced today at TOKEN2049 in Dubai that Tether, in collaboration with TON Foundation, has launched USDt on TON.

Instant, free, as easy as sending a text message.

USDt on TON simplifies global peer-to-peer payments for Telegram’s 900M monthly active users. The integration of USDt into Wallet in Telegram makes USDt transfers free and instant between all Telegram users; all you need to do is send a DM, no need for a blockchain address, and no need to download a new app.

USDt, also known as Tether, is a cryptocurrency pegged 1-to-1 with USD and backed 100% by Tether’s reserves. Unlike other more volatile digital assets, it offers a stable value. Making USDt on TON ideal for daily transactions and cross-border payments.

USDt on TON will be accompanied by fully integrated on-ramps from most fiat currencies globally at launch. Soon, integrated global off-ramps will enable users to withdraw supported fiat currencies directly to bank accounts or cards. The aim is for USDt on TON to become a faster, easier, and cheaper cross-border payment system than traditional financial services.

11M Toncoin in incentives

TON Foundation has committed 11M Toncoin to incentivize the adoption of USDt on TON.

For a limited time, while incentives last:
▪️ 5M Toncoin will be used to boost rewards in USDt/TON liquidity pools across TON DEXes @ston_fi and DeDust.
▪️ 5M Toncoin will be given to users depositing USDt to Wallet’s Earn campaign.
▪️ Withdrawals to TON from all supporting exchanges like OKX, Bybit, and KuCoin will be entirely free for all users until the end of June, 2024.
▪️ Prepare the engines. These incentives will begin soon.

As TON continues to evolve and expand, this week brings several updates from five ecosystem projects: TONNEL Network, Tonkeeper, Gagarin Launchpad, TONX, and The Pixels. Let's take a closer look at their latest updates:

TONNEL Network

TONNEL Network, via its ZK-protocol, has introduced a smart contract enabling users to join a liquidity pool with a single transaction. Users can send Toncoin (TON) to a specific address, Zalp.ton, initiating an automated exchange of TON for $TONNEL at DeDust, adding both to the pool, and issuing LP tokens in return.

The Zalp Mini App further simplifies transactions for various tokens, making it easier to become a liquidity provider. It's important to note, the gas fee for the Zalping process is currently almost 1 TON, which includes gas and DeDust fees but not a platform fee.

Tonkeeper

Tonkeeper has launched Tonkeeper Pro for desktop, featuring a redesign, an enhanced dashboard, subscription for Pro users, and the introduction of promo codes. A standout feature is a visual diagram that displays the token distribution within a user’s wallet, offering an intuitive view of asset allocation. Additionally, the dashboard now includes wallet analytics, a tool especially useful for professionals using Tonkeeper in their daily business activities.

Gagarin Launchpad

Gagarin 2.0 enhances the TON Ecosystem with the TON-EVM Bridge, linking TON with Binance Smart Chain and improving tokenomics, refund policies, and offering extra perks for Tier holders. This open-source solution enables seamless token bridging between TON and EVM networks, broadening the reach of projects to TON's vast user base on Telegram and fostering cross-network liquidity.
