Hamster Kombat Airdrop Update

Yesterday, we witnessed the beginning of largest airdrop in crypto history. 131M qualified users getting their paws on Hamster Tokens on TON. This moment sets an entirely new benchmark for what is possible onchain.

This massive surge in traffic did cause some third-party services to experience overloads resulting in a few delayed transactions. However, despite the heavy load, the TON blockchain has not missed a single block.

We are still seeing a growing influx of users, and the onchain activity is likely to continue growing in the coming days. It is still early days but the success so far demonstrates TON's resilience and capacity to support massive user onboarding.

Coming Up: The largest crypto onboarding event ever

This week, TON blockchain has seen record traffic, with new projects bringing unprecedented on-chain activities to Web3. 

On September 20, Catizen officially launched with 18M monthly active users, followed by Rocky Rabbit (18M MAU) and WatBird (12M MAU) on September 23. Despite the millions of interactions, TON blockchain has handled it all smoothly. 

But tomorrow is the biggest challenge yet: Hamster Kombat (with over 300M users since March) will begin airdropping tokens to 131M qualified users, making it the largest token launch ever. Introducing TON Mintless Jettons

TON’s Mintless Jetton technology enables instant distribution to millions of users with network fees under $1. Cryptography and smart contracts guarantee ownership, and the Core Dev team tested it with Mintless Points, distributing to 18M wallets on the TON mainnet (for testing purposes only, no other value).

Mintless Jettons are fully compatible with regular jettons, with the key difference being that the smart contract is created when a user takes their first action. Leveraged DEX Liquidity with EVAA

EVAA, a decentralized liquidity protocol on TON, has teamed up with DeDust and Storm Trade to offer liquidity providers leveraged farming.

The new LP Pool enables farming strategies on TON. By using LP tokens as collateral, users can borrow additional assets, reinvest, and boost their yields.
